Following the recent clashes between the alt-right and the group antifa, some libertarians have debated which group they should support. The answer is simple: neither. The alt-right and its leftist opponents are two sides of the same authoritarian coin. The alt-right elevates racial identity over individual identity. The obsession with race leads them to support massive government interference in the economy in order to benefit members of the favored race. They also favor massive welfare and entitlement spending, as long as it functions as a racial spoils system. Some prominent alt-right leaders even support abortion as a way of limiting the minority population. No one who sincerely supports individual liberty, property rights, or the right to life can have any sympathy for this type of racial collectivism. Antifa, like all Marxists, elevates class identity over individual identity. Antifa supporters believe government must run the economy because otherwise workers will be exploited by greedy capitalists. This faith in central planning ignores economic reality, as well as the reality that in a free market employers and workers voluntarily work together for their mutual benefit. It is only when government intervenes in the economy that crony capitalists have the opportunity to exploit workers, consumers, and taxpayers. Sadly, many on the left confuse the results of the “mixed economy” with free markets. Ironically, the failure of the Keynesian model of economic authoritarianism, promoted by establishment economists like Paul Krugman, is responsible for the rise of the alt-right and antifa. Despite a recent (and likely short-lived) upturn in some sectors of the economy, many Americans continue to struggle with unemployment and a Federal Reserve-caused eroding standard of living. History shows that economic hardship causes many to follow demagogues offering easy solutions and convenient scapegoats. Left-wing demagogues scapegoat businesses and the “one percent,” ignoring the distinction between those who made their fortunes serving consumers and those who enriched themselves by manipulating the political process. Right-wing demagogues scapegoat immigrants and minorities, ignoring how these groups suffer under the current system and how they are disproportionally impacted by policies like the war on drugs and police militarization.

Maybe you are onto something.... ;) But the difference is I haven't heard of countless cases where a kid gets a shot and gains 20 pounds within a few hours. But if that did happen, I'm sure you'd still say vaccines are always safe. There have been so many perfectly healthy kids who got deadly sick after vaccines. But I imagine you have a chart to show why that's good and normal.

Pretty much where my thoughts have been hovering... unfortunately. It now seems it will be either mass-insurrection or out-and-out civil war. I really don't have that much problem with it, given the current circumstance. My only real concern lies with Themme. What have Theye in store for us if and when the shooting starts? I can barely imagine that Theye would not be well prepped for this, given the likelihood that it is they who have driven things to this sad pass in the first place. Consider how TPTB here in America have seemingly changed their positions on things like rioting. When I lived in Portland, every Wed. evening there was a filthy-hippie protest. All you bunnies&light crowd were there, telling the world how awful everything was and how virtuous they were because they were there carrying on. And every Wed. the Portland mounted police were out in force, and they meant business. One of those unwashed, smelly bastards got so much as half a hair out of line and those cops would be on them link stink on rice... or is it white on shit? Didn't happen often, but every now and again someone would go too far and the cops would be on the evening news, having beaten the snot out of someone just prior to hauling off to the hoosegow. Fast-forward 13 years and the same filthy hippies attempt to burn Portland to the ground and the cops just stand there, their thumbs deeply wedged in their bootholes, inert to the destruction occurring around them. Obviously, something fundamental has changed - but what, by whom, and to what end? My real fear, and I fear very few things in this way, is that Theye have pushed us to this edge which, once we spill into the abyss of civil war, will see something quite unexpected and very horrible drawn from their sleeves. Perhaps some weapon tech Theye have managed to keep well hidden from public awareness. Perhaps it will be hundreds of thousands of well-trained and well-armed troops from foreign armies, more than happy to come here to kill the uppity Americans and perhaps even equipped with orders to "kill them all, God will know His own". I put no outrage past Themme.

That's impossible b/c science. The mom is lying, vaccines should be injected into every ice cream cone! Or else that's ok because it was one in a million. I can't keep up with the vaccine creed.

There is a court that pays out to kids who have been destroyed by vaccines. Angela says their payouts are based on emotion because she believes it is impossible for vaccines to hurt anyone because sci-ants. The thing is though, even the most pro-vax people (with the possible exception of Angela) admit certain vaccines are not safe for certain people. They just play down the numbers, imagine your kid is allergic to peanuts, and your Dr wants to pump him up with 4 ounces of peanut oil. You'd tell your Doc to go to hell and rightly so. The medical establishment likes to use the '1 in a million' excuse whenever they kill or injure someone. They don't deny there stuff is dangerous, it's just a debate of how dangerous it is.

If I was one of the many parents with a child who has permanent brain damage looking for answers, I'd be pretty damn emotional about it myself. And yeah, just the thought of a kid getting his brain fried is pretty terrifying.

On Friday Missouri Lt. Governor Mike Parsons told Senator Chappelle-Nadal to step down or be removed from office. Now this… Maria Chappelle-Nadal finally issued a tearful apology on Sunday in a Facebook interview that streamed live. FOX News reported: Amid calls for her resignation, a Democratic state senator in Missouri on Sunday said she made a mistake for posting on Facebook Thursday that she hopes President Donald Trump is assassinated. State Sen. Maria Chappelle-Nadal — who has said she isn’t resigning over the post — apologized at a press conference streamed live on the Facebook page of the Clayton Times, a St. Louis County newspaper.

Yeah, but what she said makes sense. When people make it a public bunch of drama instead of keeping family decisions personal in the first place is when it seems like government gets involved and makes rules for everyone. In other words, the squeaky wheel makes the most noise.

Oh, I see. Is that what you meant when you said that the anti vaccine folks would end up becoming the vehicle for more government? It does make sense. I didn't know we paid for it via surcharge. Anyway. Good to know. As I said, I never even heard of it. As far as vaccination, I'm not against it. Although I did strech them out a little. That was actually a requirement by the NCAA. Which I also did not know until my son got his NCAA certification.

    H. Verlan Andersen was here: When the people commence to look to the federal government for their support, and if they don’t receive what they feel they are entitled to, they will strike against the power which is withholding that to which they consider themselves entitled. Just as in times past, men have struck against the companies who gave them jobs and provided them with a livelihood when they felt they were entitled to higher wages or shorter hours. In both cases the recipients are not grateful for what they are receiving. They are angry because it isn’t more. The difference lies in this: When the strike is against a private company there is an independent unbiased police force to maintain peace and arbitrate the case in court, but where the government is one of the parties to the dispute there is no appeal to anything except force. The employees can come to hate the government and its officers just as they come to hate the company and its officers when the law is not based upon moral principle. When the law can no longer appeal to either reason or justice, and where it is nothing more than a power which takes what is available and dispenses it with an arbitrary hand, with no fundamental principle to guide it in saying how much is to be given to which group, people lose respect for such a law and the police power which enforces it. No appeal to justice, reason, or compassion will prove effective. The people who are the backbone of civilized nations—the thrifty, hardworking self-respecting independent honest class—cannot respect such a law. Where the right of private property is protected man is encouraged to look to himself to supply his wants. He is even forced to this just as nature and nature’s God decreed: Thou shalt eat thy bread by the sweat of the face. But when government announces that it will now see to it that his wants are supplied, he no longer feels the need to rely upon his own brains and body. That man loses respect for the rights of others. He looks to the use of force to provide for his needs. He looks to force which takes from others what they have created, and the more he is pampered the more he demands. He comes to believe what the government tells him: That there are no property rights which may not be invaded to provide for his wants. He no longer regards it as necessary to conserve and limit his desires or to save and provide for the future. In our complex economy this is the worst possible attitude, for when it breaks down the suffering will be most intense.

I don't know what is wrong with the rep system that you get three neg reps and I'm only allowed to give you one. But Hillary didn't lie about her client nor did she say he was guilty of first degree rape. She said that was the charge. I did watch it and you lied. Further he didn't "get off." He plead guilty to a lesser charge. What Hillary said was "I got him off WITH TIME SERVED." He's still on the sex abuse registry the rest of his life. You have not identified a single legitimate ethical lapse in anything Hillary did or said in that video.
