I have a totally different theory.
Its not that it is too difficult to lie, but when someone is cussing a lot about whatever shitpickle sandwich they were munching on earlier, they are not trying to hide how they feel. "I got fucked at the used car lot." Not trying to hide jack shit. "I was taken advantage of at the used car lot." does not fully reflect how a person feels, thus, it can come across as subversive, and is easily read as such. It immediately reads as they are trying to hide something, like they were the ones trying to fuck over the car dealership, and although many can be snakes, snakes can be the customers too.
Point number two. People do not see the world for what it really is, people see the world the way they see themselves. I think the statement by the good Dr Sillwell is reflecting that he sees himself as a simpleton who couldnt shit out a lie if his life depended on it, and his statement, although bearing some truth to it, is actually projection and not an accurate reflection of society as a whole. IE: the term "Fucktard" has just been coined yet again.
