I might try that. But then I'd get a few different ones and mess with my colleagues at work.

I find that spending time outdoors browns my skin. Does nothing to my eyes though. Magic.

Please read my post again.. I more or less said they will not do it if they lose viewers. I have to say, a local news site here stopped their comments, they generally turned into giant debates with people who'd spend their entire day commenting, after about a year, it's back but hidden from plain view.

It costs money to have a comment section. Someone has to moderate it, that costs money. It's a simple cost/benefit type decision, if people keep reading the platform without a comment section, why have one ? It lowers profits.

It's a while ago since I used my egg to make dinner, at least 3 weeks. But I got a few bags of charcoal again BBQ'd bavette with homemade pepper sauce. Whole onions, vine tomatoes and sweetcorn, clarified garlic butter. Roast potatoes and sour cream. Needless to say, I am stuffed. I had a great meal. Got the bavette to around medium, which is about good for bavette. Now I am wondering what to do with this leftover cognac from the pepper sauce. :redsmiling:

Sounds like a lot but maybe it's going to make America very great again, so why worry about the cost ?

Well, the assumption of being checked would be enough to stop people, right ? In the UK I only had to walk through a metal detector and get my bag x-rayed.. Pretty amazing in this time and age.

Typical Dutch food, potatoes mashed roughly with raw endive. Lots of pieces of fried pork belly (crispy) and smoked (and fried) sausage... Gravy made from the rendered pork fat and beef stock. Simple but good.

A>"What would it take for you to vote for X?" B>"......." Something like that ? It's politics, Deals are made. It's a game, you need tactics. It's not fair, life isn't either.

In general I think the best activists make the worst politicians. I'm not sure if this holds for libertarians as we generally would say that a principled stance is the only one. But that doesn't work in our current political climate. Some kind of compromise will have to happen somewhere and as a candidate you'll have to support some of it. Simply because you cannot change society in one day... And trying to establish that, will not get you elected. The only thing it would do, is make you look like an idiot. No effort necessary, the media will help with that. Having said that, it's not my personal opinion that the type of baggage that he has should keep him from being elected. But a gun-conviction, this stuff with his ex, things he's said over the years... If we're realistic, he doesn't have the kind of machinery that Trump has so his chances of getting away with all that are not good. Having said THAT, I do think he'd make a good politician. What he does in his personal life may be unwanted however more politicians seem to dabble into weird stuff. He's a principled guy, even though he can be loud, he's also good at forming an argument. Even better in passionately conveying it. I have not seen much of what he has been doing in the past years but who knows, if he has matured a bit and learned some more... He's not a second Ron but I do think he's one of those that truly understood Ron's message. Having said all of that. I agree with Brian but if Ward doesn't win, then I'm very interested to see what Kokesh can bring. In that case, I wish him all the luck he needs! :toady:

You people are bigger snowflakes than any prog. You come here where nobody has anything in common with you--and I mean nothing, as libertarians are not only small government people, but we are individualists, not collectivists, while all of you are all about the Great Racia--er, I mean Cultural:rolleyes: Collectives--and immediately set about alienating everyone you can. And when you get called on it, you turn into this guy: Help! I'm being repressed! Muh free speech! You have the whole internet to be all eighteenth century and intolerant and collectivist, yet here you are. And you all know you're divisive and pure poison. So, clearly it's only because you're not interested in a movement with something to offer every individual. You want the GOP divided in hope that you can send a message by getting a panderer who will promise you something you'll never actually get, like a goofy, godawful expensive Wall. Ooooh! Well, gee.

Libertarianism has much to offer the GOP, but nothing for you people. You want to own the GOP, and our crossover appeal, and the GOP primary voters we attract, may be good for the party, but are terrible for you. We attract normal people to the GOP, or as you derisively refer to them, 'normies'. Fortunately for you, you can easily rid libertarian spaces like this site of people. All you have to do is show up and talk about stuff you talk about and blow your dog whistles at each other. You are so universally reviled nobody even wants to be associated with you. It's like a restaurant owner swearing off bathing and eating at the competition's place every day.

I would recommend to measure resistance when it's not plugged in. If the resistance is unlimited there is no connection.

Tulsa knows the difference between a site which is useful to a political movement and a site which is a glaring liability to a political movement. You people are spreading poison here. And you know it's poison. You just don't care, because it's not your movement, and it has nothing to offer you.

Do these have a best by date ? Given that they use similar fibers to aircraft, boats and lots of other items, will they be falling apart as well ? It's an even more sad comment when it's regarding steel plates... Really?

Ideally there would be no party influence and all votes would be based on merit alone. Is there an absolute need of confirming a nominee right now?

I would venture to say that his spirit is brilliant. What I see in him is someone who will say what he believes in, even if it's inconvenient. He will say it however, because he knows he is right. That's a brilliant person to me. Maybe he's not the best at math or has discovered something new, he has however been instrumental in the generation of a new generation of people... He's definitely not crazy. Misunderstood, of course, but that goes for anyone that's genuine and honest in the media.
