No, actually your Patriot friends are wrong. But keep in mind that way of thinking has been happening for over a hundred years, as tyranny slowly took foothold and why we are at this juncture, so why change now.

The exercise of the trump admin was to lead republicans to the same thought process, so if a Fed.gov can do it for the "betterment of all" , why not?

Even a broken clock ACLU is right twice a day. The problem becomes, tax payers foot the bill for public/private ventures, and then roll it out onto the public via the private sector, which ultimately ends up in government hands. This is how Fascism takes root, and it is right on course.

May 29, 2020 “We won’t let companies like Clearview trample on our right to privacy,” writes ACLU Staff Attorney Nathan Freed Wessler. The ACLU has decided to sue controversial biometric company Clearview AI, in an attempt to stop its privacy-breaching surveillance actions. Clearview’s technology that collects billions of unique biometric templates has been criticized by a number of privacy advocates, as has its use by law enforcement units around the world. ACLU is not the first organization to take Clearview AI to court over data privacy concerns. There are also two separate BIPA (Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act) cases currently ongoing against Clearview. “The company has captured these faceprints in secret, without our knowledge, much less our consent, using everything from casual selfies to photos of birthday parties, college graduations, weddings, and so much more,” Wessler says. “Unbeknownst to the public, this company has offered up this massive faceprint database to private companies, police, federal agencies, and wealthy individuals, allowing them to secretly track and target whomever they wished using face recognition technology.” ACLU is taking Clearview AI to an Illinois court in the name of vulnerable communities such as survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence, and undocumented immigrants. Calling the system “life-threatening,” the group accuses the biometric company of breaching BIPA, which requires a company obtain users’ written consent to collect biometric information.

Biometric update is a little behind the 8 ball. But, they make it sound so appealing why giving up our liberty, private personal data, is a good thing.

May 28, 2020 From facial recognition scans that open our smartphones to medical wearables monitoring our heartrates, biometrics technologies have become a near inescapable part of our daily lives. But while these technologies continue to expand around the world, few countries have yet applied them broadly as part of their public infrastructure. The coronavirus was a wakeup call. Following the success seen in places like Taiwan and South Korea using biometrics to prevent the spread of the virus, countries around the world may look to replicate similar strategies in their own deployment of the technology. As biometrics make their way into the public infrastructure, that opens the door to novel use cases to make our communities safer and our lives more convenient. But how likely is this biometrics revolution, and what would it actually look like?

As I eluded, if it was companies only, the Free Market could apply. If it was government only, there might be chance to overturn the violations. But when both companies and government are colluding together, what method or solution could be applied to reverse what is happening?

With what is transpiring on a Global scale, should I bend over and take my liberty? Pack it in and pre-pay my plot? Live in solitude/isolation safely and soundly, to protect my own liberty and freedom, and my own money that is funding these things? Also Origanalist ?

I posted this in another thread, but it applies here as well... There are lots of threads and talk about Trump vs Biden, left versus right, costly and worthless attempts to change the system from within. The question on a few folks minds is, what solution is there to stop mandatory vaccines, biometrics and tracking technology, and retention of private personal data. It would be surmountable if either government, or companies, was solely responsible. But when companies and governments collude together, not just in the U.S., or China, but on a global scale, what options are there to put a stop to it all? Apply for or retain a job. Travel by plane, boat, public transport, etc.

Q? I don't follow. Don't get me wrong, I am glad that he has terminated the relationship with WHO. The problem that I have is that the very things we are against WHO, U.N. for are happening at an accelerated rate by our own government, which exactly lines up with NWO. Seriously, where is the outrage? Edit: got the /sarc, sorry that went over my head lol ;-)

May 2020 The Homeland Security Department is in the midst of migrating its central biometric database—used to store, manage and disseminate biometric data on U.S. citizens and foreign nationals—to the Amazon Web Services GovCloud, the first step in a major overhaul of the decades-old legacy system. With significant advancements in biometric technologies—like iris and facial scans—and computing technology, DHS decided it was time to upgrade its decades-old Automated Biometric Identification System, known as IDENT, originally developed in 1994. In 2015, the Office of Biometric Identity Management began work on the Homeland Advanced Recognition Technology, or HART, system, which will introduce new capabilities and shift the entire system to the cloud. OBIM officially began the shift from IDENT to HART this year, including finalizing a privacy impact assessment for the first phase: migrating existing data and functionality to the cloud. The impact statement was finalized and signed in February and subsequently published in May “to align with the completion of other system requirements,” a DHS spokesperson told Nextgov.

I say a solution to all of this is to start having Fire Side Chats on TV. With governments track record, and trumps, I am not sure if there is some other underlying reason beside what is on the surface.

This is such fantastic news! And this couldn't have happened at a better time now that "elections" are coming up! Now we can ignore the boring facts that Trump hired Fauci, funded and moving ahead with "Operation Warp Speed" and put Moncef Slaoui at the helm, while giving Moderna millions and millions of dollars ---> so that we can "win" the election! Who needs WHO when our own leaders and we can enslave ourselves! MAGA!

Awesome post, Cap and you are absolutely right. I wonder if somebody ever wrote a book solely about the public/private contracts this government imposes on us and how it turned us into a FASCIST Nation. Anybody know?

May 29, 2020 Who's in charge? Is The Fed responsible for 40 million unemployed? The concept of a "Deep State" may be a new one for Americans to come to grips with, but unaccountable power is as old as the hills. Liberty & sound money are the only neutralizing agents to Deep State power. http://www.ronpaullibertyreport.com/

Keith Jarret was shunned, but it was from within that he became one of the gifted legends. Shirley Muldowney never allowed a sever crash & burn to deny her 3 time world champ. Aron Ralston continued to climb after cutting his own arm off. Giordano Brunno was burned at the stake over free thought and speech. History is rife with greatness, but it is still the 1%. The rest are simply posers, "know-it-all's" and followers, where mob rule unfortunately sets precedents, and just because one may have money/power does not mean they are any better. Ron Paul is perhaps the only one left, it will be a long, long time before another carries his torch. Beside me, of course ;-)

Is is legitimate for any government entity to compile information on individuals, or groups of individuals, if they have not committed a crime, and store that information? Passports were supposed to be “temporary” until after the war was over. Driver Licenses are now common and celebrated at 16 years old, even when interstate commerce is not taking place. TSA stores information, people flock to purchase Pre-Check to assist government agents in “allowing” you to travel, as well as know where you go. At what point will people say STOP? After it is too late to do a single thing about it? Or are you accepting to all of this?

What is ignored much of the time, private enterprise gets involved in public/private contracts with the government, and it immediately turns into a fascist company and a fascist government.
