These may seem silly but they really do work. I started dry brushing and using a nubby massager thingy and see a difference in my skin.
When dry brushing, I was told to brush toward the heart. It doesn't take long. I do it while the shower is warming up in the morning. I use the the other thing in the shower and use a circular motion. I started doing it for vanity reasons. My babies left me with some stretch marks and loose tummy skin (yuck!) and after doing this about a year, the stretch marks are barely noticeable (Mr Animal said they weren't really noticeable to begin with but said there is definitely a difference.) and the loose skin is considerably tightened. I wore a bikini at Easter.
Tips: After the shower while my skin is still damp, I tap in vitamin c serum (esthetician told me to tap serum, not rub it). Then, I let my skin dry (esthetician also told me to let the serum soak in before applying lotion - just passing on info here) while I brush my teeth and use almond oil (Now brand) on my trouble spots. It's a bit expensive to use all over but I read it's suppose to help stretch marks. BTW, I've used expensive serum and cheap serum and don't notice too much of a difference. To get good results, you have to get in the habit of doing it everyday. When I got serious about it, I started seeing a difference in about a month. That's what kept me motivated to keep at it.
Also, if you like your heels like I do, Crocs has some really cute and comfortable shoes. These are my everyday summer shoes and my feet never bother me. The platform with a mini wedge makes it feel like you're not even wearing heels.
