Sens. Tom Cotton (R-AR) and Katie Britt (R-AL) filed legislation months ago that would ban Chinese nationals and Chinese companies from buying and owning real estate in the United States. The legislation, and its nearly identical bill in the House, does not have any Democrat co-sponsors.

Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer to Joe Biden who accused him of sexual assault during the 2020 presidential election, has now defected to Russia.
Reade made her defection known in an interview with the pro-Vladimir Putin outlet Sputnik during a press conference.

Hollywood, Florida, Police Chief Chris O’Brien blasted what he called a “group of criminals” following shots being fired and nine people left injured Monday night around 7 p.m.
The Associated Press reported the shooting victims “included six adults and three children.” All of the shooting victims are expected to survive.
