Maybe or even the people who told Rand Paul that he was being spied on. Lots of leaks comes from the FBI they have the least amount of restrictions on unmasking Americans information. They don't even have to "justify" the search of your records because in their own words if they had to justify using it every time they used it, they wouldn't use it as much.

Yeah you're right saying our military tech sucks and can't compete with our opposition makes Americans empty their wallets. I guess I will just purely hope that somehow our opposition understands this, and doesn't think we have some secret cloaking technology that is capable of going into low earth orbit. I am sure if they think we have it they would gain the motivation to build it.

Yeah but its much harder to scare your population into a arms race or get them to fund your arms if the opposition builds 5 planes the media labels shitty versus 50 of "the most advanced fighter ever". I am sure you can even throw some of your upgraded parts in your shiny old box too. Its always good to upgrade your parts and put them in the old box if the box still works, I am sure we haven't seen the full capabilities of the f-35, but I hope we never have to.

Yeah I am sure you can add one of those to a squad of fourth generation fighters and improve the capabilities of them.. Look I am not denying its a waste of money, I wanted to hate it too, then I actually read about it. Most of the negative comments on it stem from people who fantasize about powerful jet engines, you're right the soviets did have better engines then ours, but we got to the moon right, theirs didn't. We even copied their moon design rockets for our rockets we use now. The software that we have though in our planes, the cutting edge technologies, make all the difference. Yeah Iran made a copy of our drone, but have you ever tried to emulate a ps3 game on your computer? I bet you can't do it, and if you can its going to be extremely inefficient and run like shit.

With their own built in Radar system that upgrades the capabilities of every fighter around it. With a stealth system they have to attach fake transponders on because the stealth technology is so classified? I am sure there are lots of planes that can do vertical takeoffs, right? Or maybe there is an incentive for the American's to classifiy the upper end of our military technologies like the top speed of an SR71? Maybe we have an incentive to make it seem less powerful then our other planes so that we don't create some sort of arms race? Maybe we have to make the plane seem like its not as good as it is so that we can sell it for the same price as teh Russians sell there plane.

Any 50's era fighter has its own radar, untested stealth capabilities and B61-12 nuclear gravity bomb capable? The reports of people who actually fly the plane say its common to end up right behind people because they plan has so much stealth, and they get a 360' view around them. The f-35 flys higher and carries way more weight then what you think. There is an active campaign to make the f-35 seems shitty because we sell it to compete against Russia's plane at the same price point. The capabilities you get are way different though, the Russian planes are known to fall out of the sky, but that could be something we are arranging as well.

I dunno I think if I were the enemy I would be more afraid of the f-35 especially one that I could see. I think the whole thing with the f35 is that it has untested stealth technologies and is nuclear capable. I don't think the f35 is deisgned to be a dog fighter, I think its designed to drop WMDs from the air without any one being the wiser.

RED BLUFF, Calif. — A farmer faces trial in federal court this summer and a $2.8 million fine for failing to get a permit to plow his field and plant wheat in Tehama County. Load Error A lawyer for Duarte Nursery said the case is important because it could set a precedent requiring other farmers to obtain costly, time-consuming permits just to plow. “The case is the first time that we’re aware of that says you need to get a (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) permit to plow to grow crops,” said Anthony Francois, a lawyer for the Pacific Legal Foundation. The libertarian-leaning nonprofit fights for private property rights and limited government. “We’re not going to produce much food under those kinds of regulations,” Francois said. However, U.S. District Judge Kimberly J. Mueller agreed with the Army Corps in a judgment issued in June. A trial, in which the U.S. Attorney’s Office asks for $2.8 million in civil penalties, is set for August. The case began in 2012 when John Duarte, who owns Duarte Nursery near Modesto, Calif., bought 450 acres about 10 miles south of Red Bluff.

I tried to simplify it as much as i can. Sorry if you don't understand maybe you should watch the liberty report episode where Ron Paul talks about it. https://youtu.be/rthogdho6Sc?t=891 If you have time to argue with people on here and not watch Ron Paul then trading taxes for other taxes is not a decrease of taxes. All you are encouraging is replacing our current taxes with an inflation tax.

TLDR is the burden the government puts on the economy worse by taxation or spending? Answer: spending is the real tax.

You claim that was the argument OP was making. The argument, although rather worded should of been should the government just reduce taxes (and regulation) and increase spending(or keep current spending levels) or should we actually have real cuts to government, cut spending the real tax? Then you proceeded to embarrass yourself by making straw man arguments with yourself.

You heard me, you are embarrassing, you are embracing and endorsing the idea of the government picking winners and losers by perpetuating the idea that lowering taxes is better then not lowering taxes when that's a straw mans argument.

Somebody didn't read Trumps budget? $1.5 trillion in non-defense discretionary cuts and $1.4 trillion in Medicaid cuts over the course of a decade, while adding nearly half a trillion dollars to defense spending.

Well waste in a free market economy would be the lifeblood of the economy. When you have a house made out of shit though, it doesn't work too well. One of the side effects is the encouragement malinvestment that does not get liquidated. We need lots of corrections to be made in the economy before we can ever dream about waste being beneficial.

As long as they deny the identity of their sources then I am sure sources will continue to provide wiki with intel. I think Kim was waiting for things to happen naturally and then when they did not he started to put things into motion. I hope there is justice for Seth Rich and this just isn't a political dog and pony show.

Do you remember how he said he would do it? Trumps plans always involve some carrot and stick jiggery pokery. Like making a poorer country wall itself off. I mean just imagine, its like holding down someone smaller than you and using their hand to punch themselves in the face. Or his solution to war being expensive and burdening the economy: use more war to make money back you spent on war. It's like the Trump casino all over again. I need to gamble to win back money I lost gambled mentality.

You think Trump would sign cuts to military spending? When has he ever suggested this? I think in the debate Rand Paul was the only person who said anything about cutting military because we already spending more then the next 7 countries. Health care is simple, Trump just has to let Obamacare fail on its own, he just needs to not pass more insurance bail outs. He just needs to not request more bailouts from congress, end the appeal Obama made.

Healthcare is a huge chunk of whats wrong with our country. If he isn't going to do anything about military spending, which he isn't, then he better not shit the bed on healthcare. If Trump is going to suggest that the congress pass a budget signing the omnibus appropriations was stupid, Congress is just going to continue to put forwards these shitty omnibus bill and Trump has already shown he will not back down. Trump will probably primary the budget hawks in the house too, because nice head fake.

What the fuck its been a few weeks since Trump signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 so now he is libertarian now? He has full control to end the appeal the Obamacare administration made against congress to fund the health insurance bail outs. All he has to do is not shit the bed, the stupid house bill won't pass the budget rules and will have to get amended and voted on in the House again.
