It wasn't about me, specifically, just the fact that lots of people in modern times have been abused by government power. The deep state tried entrapping john kiriakou mulitple times because he spoke out against the government torturing people. I don't care how much you love the Trump government, you don't know what government is coming next.

Shell boss Ben Van Beurden said the oil major had changed its company mindset to a “lower forever” oil price environment and is focusing on being “fit for the forties”, in reference to the faltering oil price, which has struggled to remain above the $50 a barrel mark. The group is already shifting its production focus from oil to natural gas, but in its clearest statement of intent to date Mr Van Beurden said that within the next year Shell will reveal early plans for a deeper presence in renewable energy and the electrical chain to tap into the boom in electric vehicles.

You might think its possible to bale water out of a sunken ship. I very much would love to have a bigger government when my government would sooner label me a domestic terrorist and put me in jail for speech, audit my taxes, put me in jail for smoking a plant or boycotting wars. I hope you never live to see power corrupted. I hope the president never kills an American on American soil just because drones are fun and its authorized in the NDAA

The deep state sent in ISIS because Obama went to congress knowing that the republican majority would oppose him. If anything Syria doesn't look like Iraq because of Obama and the huge anti war push Rand Paul made against him. The neocons like to argue that regime change would of been better, but people like Rand Paul argue that real regime change can't come from western hands. The civil war in Syria war was funded by the congress when they crafted government funding bills that included training those rebels. The only people who didn't help arm ISIS were the Rand Paul's who voted against the funding.

It's how Trump controls the narrative and the MSM. The secret is he will attack targets that his base is indifferent about or hates. 1. Make ambiguous comment about liberal sacred cow 2. Media and public are instantly enamored by shocking headline 3. People stop thinking about yesterday's headline 4. ????? 5. profit

double speak + double think = two different conversations/interpretations. The argument I think is impossible to have. It's such a sacred cow to the political establishment that people turn off their brain. I think it's one of those issues that most people are biased about so they won't even consider other opinions because they are brainwashed into believing that government intervention is here and isn't going anywhere, and with that attitude it will never.

The devils in the details, you lose the argument by arguing their argument and by arguing their argument to make your point. This outrage to political correctness will only go away when we deport all of the people who perpetuate it. This has nothing to do with people that come here illegally, its about the culture who lets people get away with it. Liking Trump is all about hating what you perceive to be his enemies and Trump makes everyone his "enemy". For some people Trump is real enough to them, like fake wrestling, that people think he is solving injustices in the world, and that they are doing something about it by supporting him. These people are sadly mistaken and they perpetuate this nonsense on purpose to keep his poll numbers from the gutter.

Your lucky Trump's Isreali first administration is pushing a bill through congress that makes criticizing Israeli foreign policy illegal so I am not going to dispute their foreign policy because I don't want to go to jail.

The deep state isn't a conspiracy theory anymore. The conspiracy theory is that it doesn't exist.

The gov also gets to target opposition with their increased law enforcement. You might not be doing anything illegal now, but they can change that. This is not what Ron Paul meant by rolling back our intervention overseas and bringing our troops home to defend our borders. This is introducing an entire new federal entitlement program for nanny state supporters who want to replace the local government with federal government because the local government isn't able to take care of itself.

The establishment co-opted both major political parties, I think that their plan will backfire though. They exploit peoples political differences in ideology in order to silence any opposition to the establishment. I think we may see the death of political parties when they burn it down.

Its basically just a geopolitical win-win because it makes America look like he capitulated if he vetoes it and they force super majority and it makes America do what they want us to do if he signs it without comment. You should understand the context of the fear they have from Russia. Their governments are destabilizing and possibly collapsing because of their foreign policy against Russia and Russia retaliation. Right now they fear Russia will just keep expanding its borders indefinitely, and when Trump came into office saying that he wouldn't go to war with Russia they started making plans of their own, no matter how little their ability to fight for their sovereignty without us they will, and when Germany gets desperate like this you get a world war traditionally.

I think it's justified if you are looking at the right war. Right now the only ones fighting the war is Rand Paul. I know that there are probably cases out there where its completely justified, where opiates are the best and only option. I know that there are safer alternatives, because you can see in states where marijuana is legalized- opiate abuse plummets. What does that mean, who knows for sure, but I think its because there is a monopoly on pain. People are waking up to it, but the war on drugs is just one head to the hydra. I know how government works, it just doesn't. I think of it like the epi pen crisis, where people were dying because only one company could sell epi-auto injectors. It turned out there were other options available that were even cheaper though. Ron Paul talked about it right away and said that people could just use a regular needle. Its like those stairs the guy built in his town for 550 that the state wanted to spend over 100X that. I just fail to comprehend that there isn't cheaper and more efficient alternatives, especially if the free market were involved in medicine. I would imagine if you inject the free market into healthcare we would have tons of non addictive alternatives, and maybe even cheap options for people who actually need it because NOTHING else works.

Trumps supposed to just say no to the congress because of a foreign governments objection? This just sounds like Germany is trying to punch above its weight class because they are trying to assert themselves as a super power. They have been pushing this narrative ever since Trumps administration came in and said they didn't want to go to war with Russia. My guess is this is some sort of mental trickery so they can goad Trump into doing it in spite of them. I think they would love to send us to war with Russia, and I think the whole Brexit thing was actually a way for them to disavow themselves from their foreign policy so they don't make us their enemies.

Society teaches us to specialize our knowledge in order to be more useful to society. Lots of people don't know how to change the oil in their car, I have met adults who have never put gas in a car but driven them. People tend to only know about maybe pop cultural stuff or maybe sports and whatever industry they specialize in, and maybe whatever hobbies they have. Most people are completely ignorant about government, and learn about their government from the public school system. The public schools indoctrinate the people into this sort of cult of the state or religion of government.

These systemic problems in society can't be fixed by government because they are caused by government. You can't remove the law though without removing the government otherwise there will be tyranny.

The very nerve that Trump has to fear the media is absurd. Even Putin balked at him are those the ones that are hurting you hahahaha. He can't do anything without the media crying that he is in league with the Russians so he might as well do the right thing.
