I bet there is much more that goes on behind the scenes. If the establishment wants to they could show an open podium at primetime at a loss and run advertisements off the books and claim its news, they can literally print money to pay for that loss. It's like how the news runs a story on Starbucks adding a new size to their menu or mcdonalds changing their ingredients because they added salt and got rid of a salt substitute.

Plus the tax cuts were temporary cuts I think the idea is some of the changes were temporary and some of them were permanent so after the temporary changes are over they go up. So its a progressive increase in taxes, not to mention the "spending" tax.

Don't you think that treating the illness instead of symptoms is the only approach Rand Paul would take to any sort of problem? Rand was able to go on the news and criticize Trumps foreign policy on fox and Trumps supporters don't freak out about it because Rand is considered to be not opposition to the president.

Your point of view is that Rand should quit trying to influence policy and propagate ideas of liberty because we can't pick the Supreme court nominee. For one thing the establishment took away the filabuster- Tell me genius how does Rand influence people people into thinking that we should change policy if they think he is just part of the fake news attacking the nominee, because that's all people would see if they saw Rand obstructing the nomination, they would think he is part of the establishment because the establishment was attacking the nominee.

I am not Rand's advocate, I understand his political strategy completely. Does his political strategy have a weakness? Yes, if they make the issue into a partisan circus Rand has to tip toe around the issue otherwise they will smear Rand with Trump's supporters. Rand's political strategy is to attribute libertarian policies and ideas into the presidents platform by helping him achieve his vision that they both share. If you don't want to spread those ideas than move or get out of the way.

Rand has been making statements and educating people about the fourth amendment his entire political career. He actually did point out Kavanaughs record on the fourth amendment, he said it sardonically saying I wonder how many more he will wipe out. It fell on deaf ears, he would of got attacked for persuing it, the same way that Judge Napolitano got attacked for it.

yeah because the deep state would not have any motivation to be involved with music or popular culture, they stick with politics and influencing people with political ideas.

I assumed they paid Kanye to give a speech to the white house to help with the mid term elections. Either that or he was already part of the deep state. I didn't watch much of it just the 5 seconds where he said black people can vote red too.

Yeah and I am talking about crazy people who are for stop and frisk because government is not comprised of angels and will abuse this power for other things and get away with it like they always do. Those topics are normally mutually exclusive but for some reason crazy people and ad hominem attacks were posted in a stop and frisk post, so when life gives lemons...

The government doesn't just use a power you give them for the thing you give it to them for. If you look at what we did with government surveillance in order to listen to foreigners and apply it here you would understand.

Plus the left will say Trump has to pick a woman anyways, otherwise it will mean he hates women and that's the real reason why she resigned. The left will say that he has to pick a woman and then basically anyone who doesn't support Tom Cotton is a leftist and should just get out.

I think he probably wised up, he just defended the government stealing private property on a libertarian forum by claiming intellectual superiority. It's like walking in to a steakhouse and saying steak sucks.

I can't understand who is winning, is there progress or is this more political double speak? Trump's MAGA UN speech was pretty clear about North Korea ending their human rights abuses.

That's just fake news they tried to bait him into saying he wanted Ivanka by asking if she would be good at the job. Trump is just going to be picking Tom Cotton, and its not for the reason why you think I am going to say it is. Well, he is a total neocon, but not because of this reason. Trumps favorite thing to do to his political enemies is ruin their careers, and in order to ruin Tom Cotton's political career he has to put him on his cabinet and set him up for political failure. So its 4d chess, just like you thought I was going to say it was. The left is even going to claim that Tom Cotton raped them in 1994.

Yeah I thought I was optimistic myself, I was really hoping that all of those baseless accusations would fall on deaf ears because people would stop falling for the big lie once they became desensitized from it, but it seems like there is no desensitizing from it, it seems like they just target different people with it.

TSA maybe, I'm sure its probably something they can do now because of the patriot act I remember reading about an agency intercepting packages and then reshipping electronics being shipped in the mail to install their own bugs so maybe that agency can check for bugs while they are at it?

I like Devils posts, they are much more substantive than yours. Your entire post was circular and you didn't even quote anything he said and try to refute it. Its almost as bad as the guy who gloated that Trump didn't pick John Bolton to be on his cabinet and declared everything I have ever posted wrong even though he put John Bolton on his cabinet anyways.

Their banks were supposed to crash in 08, I thought that it was the whole purpose of the Iran agreement because they were the ones making the most money in Iran. Now that the West is divesting from Iran and opposing governments that do business with Iran their PM is going to resign. We also destabilized the region by changing regimes and promoting genocide, we armed Saudi Arabia and Isis and Iraq who carved out multiple countries in the region. This is all thanks to the country that helped us become independent, if it weren't for them we would be paying a tea tax right now.

That's a false equivalence. What I was advocating for is for the liberty movement to make the fourth amendment part of the Republican platform but we didn't win that argument but the argument isn't over Rand is still advocating for this change but he is not going to kamikaze his political career in order to make arguments that fall on deaf ears, Rand can't convince people we need the fourth amendment by himself and people won't take him seriously and won't trust him if people who claim to support him don't take him seriously and claim he sold out and isn't doing the right things. I would say you are advocating for Rand to become the sole political opposition to this police state takeover when his own political party doesn't agree with him so they won't support it. Rand has been the number one defender of the fourth amendment. When they polled the Republican party on this issue in 2016 we were in the minority. This happened during the debates when he had that back and fourth moment with Chris Christie.
