Obviously Trump has given this a lot of thought because this is an amazing idea. The Japanese are going through a huge population crisis and they could use more young people in their workforce to be the powerhouse for their aging population's economy.

Not agreeing or disagreeing with your statements just the idea that anyone who thinks government power corrupts absolutely is somehow a comrade which. I assume that is like calling him a commie or a red coat which is like calling him British? All i was pointing out is that rhetoric sounds American to me.

My favorite conspiracy is that America is still a British colony. The theory says that this is the true motivation for the BREXIT and MAGA movements. So maybe you're a red coat and you dont even know it.

I believe it was the framers who said that we need a constitution to bind the government. They also enumerated rights because they didnt trust a government not to infringe on them. They did this because they knew if a government can do something it will.

You never know how people will react to things, maybe people will admire him for it, lots of people like Ron Paul because of his passion and his consistency and his message. Plus he can watch how people respond to messaging which is invaluable because he can adjust his message for it to resonate better with people. Yeah its not groundbreaking for libertarians to support these policies, but its not a part of the Republican platform. Rand has the potential to sell these ideas to a large amount of Republicans because Rand bounces his ideas off Trump because the media was trying to poison pill the liberty movements ideas by pushing a narrative that they are buddies and that they agree on a lot of things so if Trump does bad they can blame it on the ideas that Trump and Rand supposedly agree on. Yes its not a political win, he can't deliver a political win until more republicans agree with him on this, and Rand was right to point out that Lindsay Grahams vision for America isn't Trumps vision for America so we should try to change it while we have Trump in power. ;)

The fourth Amendment is already gone, they are going after first, fifth and sixth. If Rand Paul doesn't bring this up, and bring it to peoples attention because they are tone deaf about it, who will? Who will live in a free society if no one wants to be free anymore, not because freedom isn't popular but because they don't know what it looks like. Do you think someone who was born and grew up in a prison could know what the outside world looks like?

I think the supreme court changed the legal definition of the word tax in order to rule the law constitutional- either that or they dishonestly said that it was a tax in order to rule that it was constitutional. What do I know though I am no lawyer.

His audience was conservatives, you know the ones that were supporting people like Ted Cruz all the way up until the convention. Everything in there sold that one line to his audience.

Rand's strategy possibly has endeared him with some of the Trump supporters for giving him a chance. I think his strategy was good in hindsight. I don't think anyone would of been able to defeat million dollar attack ads against them the first day they announced, a crowded field that eats up any sort of campaign funding you can get to campaign to non traditional voters, and an opponent that gets billions of dollars in free advertising. I don't think a Rand Paul rally would of ever got played on CNN at primetime.

This is about this nicest thing a conservative could say, and the only reason a conservative could give for voting for Trump. He probably helped bring about Trumps victory by pushing this narrative and giving conservatives a reason to vote for a moderate like Trump.

Sanford was essentially running against "Trump". Trump is going to politically destroy any opposition to the left, its far too late to do anything about it, Trump could literally shoot his vice president and get away with it.

Max monetary gain always has a priority over political gain, they can buy political gain, they are going to get every penny they can out of this war before it ends. Even if there was a deal they wouldn't bring the troops home.

Stupid lawyers are going to try to rationalize crazy, and the law will follow suit. This is whats wrong with the law, the only defense that should give him any lesser degree then assault is insanity, if he is claiming sanity then he should be locked up, he is dangerous to society.

I really think that Trump's comments on Kim taking over the NK regime at a young age is a back handed compliment because he inherited all of his power, and Trump doesn't seem like he is really that all optimistic about it all as far as his body language goes, but I could be wrong but he has no conviction when he speaks, his tone seems pessimistic even when he is talking about peace. Kim on the other hand seems like he is having his cake and eating it too, not on the literal sense but in the egotistical sense he acts like he is a true psychopath, maybe thats why Trump seemed so morbid and pessimistic in tone.

They stripped out the part that really stuck out with me. The real problem with this is the absurd mental hoops you have to take to go with the media narrative on this. The narrative is that Trump was tired and therefore being honest- plus he said he was being honest. This is all political theater, we won't find out what really goes on until shots are fired.

The libertarian philosophy is not isolationism, we would encourage them to do what we think is best in the best way possible, by example. I would start with fixing political corruption and our justice system.

The non intervention philosophy says that I don't have any way of knowing what they should do so I shouldn't try to impose my will or my philosophies on them. I have no moral high ground to stand on to criticize them for allowing their corrupt government destroy their country to enrich themselves. I have no moral high ground to stand on to criticize them for having corrupt cops and a phoney justice system...

Basically other countries will tax more if we tax more. Even China had to give a lot of tax breaks when we cut taxes. Corrupt government officials who missappropriate tax money will take as much as they can.

I applaud Trump for trying to turn the #metoo movement against itself in on order to produce a population that thinks for themselves. This is 4d chess at its finest. Maybe he can get the neocons in his cabinet to fight over political favor and implode as well. Maybe Trump is trying to double the debt so that he can end the FED..

This is my favorite conspiracy because I think there are some real libertarians out there that do a good enough job at discrediting the libertarian platform and party, its just super obvious when they create headlines and narratives to push the idea it becomes almost entertaining because it makes me almost think that they are doing it out of fear. Like when they put that million dollar political ad against Rand Paul the day he announced he was running for president. That to me was a sign that he was a threat and therefore making progress. The fact that Trump was tweeting out that Ron Paul has good ideas meant that he wanted Ron Paul people to vote for him, he wouldn't campaign on Ron Paul's ideas if they weren't popular.
