Some people never change we all remember his antics against Ron Paul during the 2012 primaries. https://twitter.com/MittRomney/status/1180151213993730049?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1180151213993730049&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.infowars.com%2Fpresidential-loser-mitt-romney-trumps-calls-to-investigate-joe-biden-wrong-appalling%2F https://nationalinterest.org/blog/jacob-heilbrunn/mitt-romneys-revenge-working-impeach-donald-trump-85986 If Romney leads a successful faction in the Senate to side with the Democrats in ousting the President, the GOP would be destroyed, and America would be in the most turmoil in decades. He would also be viewed and 21st century Benedick Arnold, but a hero to the far left. We would be in a type of a cold social civil war if this happens.

With the recent trends in environmental alarmism, this video addresses some of the future goals to "save the planet," from eating bugs (and even humans ) to living in expensive pods. What a world the climate-change propagandists have in store for us!

Democrats/liberals/"progressives" are exiting "blue states" because of the poor economy, crime increases, and other effects from failed Democratic policies within those states and fleeing to "red states" where the economies, crime, and other factors are relatively minimal in comparison. So why would they expect "red states" to flourish by implementing the same policies that caused them to leave "blue states" in the first place? Their hope is self-defeating.

I'm all for having clean energy, being good stewards of the natural world, respecting ecosystems, etc., but the imposition of such things should never rest with any civil institution; it should start in the market place, which is to say, in the private sphere of society. When people like you say things such as, "No, the world can't support billions of people with finite resources," it almost always leads to an appeal to a central institution (like a government body) to take care of the "problem," at the expense of the destruction of lives and property of innocent individuals, which empowers that central institution to play god. So, if you truly believe the world can't support billions of people with finite resources, then set the example, be consistent, and solve the problem by terminating your own existence. After all, that's one less person to leave a carbon footprint on the Earth. But, of course, people who advocate your position won't do that because, in their "heart of hearts," they care about their own survival more than the so-called negative impacts of climate change in the globe.

Why don't you just address the source of the problem (as you see it) with owning guns? We don't need to ban guns; we need to ban hands! If there were no hands to design and manufacture guns, then no guns would exist! Then we wouldn't have to worry about hands pulling triggers to kill people, right? Right?!

And that's really the crux of the issue. It simply makes no logical sense that law enforcement should be allowed to own automatic weapons, without restriction, while the citizens who pay their salaries and fund their equipment, buildings, etc. shouldn't be allowed to.

Before this happens in Red States like Mississippi that have more lax gun laws, it will have to pass two very difficult hurdles, any national law passed would hit the supreme court which would then have to reinterpret the 2nd amendment to favor the ban, that will take a majority of leftest judges. So let's say that happens then the state can claim state rights, just like the death penalty, arguing what is right for California in gun control is not right for a state like Wyoming for example. If that was to fail, then it would be up to local enforcement to apply the law, but is the local Sheriff who personally owns an AR-15 going turn it it in, who would enforce that on him. And then that extends to his family as well will he take his father-law, brother-laws,brothers, nephews, dad, guns away too...I think not. This will be unenforceable in States that don't agree with a federal law on the books. But it will stop the sale of all new weapons and effect those companies that build them.
