It is heartbreaking to think of the consequences of this failing fundraising effort. Does anyone care at all? If you have a cat or have ever loved a cat, please help with just $1. Thank you.

Video of the incident shows that a white police officer had a black man pinned to the ground next to the back tire of his patrol car with his knee on the man's neck. "Please, please, please I canít breathe," the man begs. "My stomach hurts. My neck hurts. Please, please. I canít breathe."

Hi all, I've been a member here since May of 2007 and have done a lot of work for Ron Paul and other liberty candidates. In December of '09 co-founded a non-profit cat rescue. It's a federally recognized 501c3 charitable organization, EIN 27-1520246, you can look it up on the IRS website and on GuideStar. For the past 11 years we've managed to keep going despite a very difficult time raising funds to care for the kitties. Today is a special day for us, the final day in the FireSpring matching funds event, which we entered on May 4th. Every dollar donated through the end of the day tomorrow will be matched by the sponsor. So far we have received just $70.... and we spend more than that on cat food alone in a single week. Vet bills are piling up too. If yo can help, even a little, it would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's more closely related to a new novel form of viral pneumonia.

Here's the note I sent to the White House this morning after listening (live) to the president's remarks on vaccine development. Sent via -- if you care to follow suit, bear in mind there is a character limit on the message text. My original message was going to be longer and I had to shorten it. Here's a transcript of Trump's remarks:

Both. I have three that were made for me. I wear it where needed at work when I have to. I wore it one day in a Lowe's that was busy. I don't wear it in my car or at a park or hiking or in the outdoors dog parks or when I pick up my take out. I have not worn it recently when I shop and I probably wont wear it much anymore unless I'm sick or feel like my immune system is low during peak sick season. I'm not buying it that it's even needed anymore unless in high risk areas like an ER or geriatric hospital. Yes a barrier can prevent a lot of germs getting through and out. The Asians know this. There is nothing wrong with wearing one in flu season or if you are sick or if you have a weak immune system. It's actually smart. But in this country some it's a Novel thing (pun intended) so it's sort of a new fashion trend for people and it's also a great way for wannabee gang bangers to get to wear there stupid facemasks in public and look tough and Coolio. I mean I almost bought one with THE RAMONES on I would be Coooool.

Let me tell you my experience with test kits. There are several different kinds. I have heard and experienced that some localities take the Antibodies test confirmation as someone who has been positive for SARs COV 19. Then they come up negative on the Swab and blood tests. Which means they were exposed to it AT SOME POINT IN THE PAST, but have no symptoms or actual infection or disease.

Well, we reached the $1k goal, however it did not happen quickly enough to get the matching funds. Only the first 350 charities to hit that goal got the grant money. They will still be giving away $50k more on Tuesday, for the top ten fundraisers on Tuesday -- meaning which raise the most funds ON that day.

The end of this movie reminds me of how I felt and what I knew when I was very young, watching the forest around my neighborhood being bulldozed, finding a gravely injured salamandar stuck in a dozer track. I knew as far back as those high school days in the 1960s where our entire way of life was leading. This is the first time I've seen it so poignantly expressed in a major production.

Fauci has been promoting Remdesivir (drug) as a cure for COVID-19. Remdesivir is made by Gilead. China holds the patent on this drug, through an agreement with Gilead's drug patent sharing subsidiary branch called UNITAID, which has an office near Wuhan. The main investors in UNITAID are George Soros, Bill and Melinda Gates, and WHO. Gilead and UNITAID were financial supporters of Hillary Clinton. Oh, and Fauci was the one who authorized millions of US taxpayer money to be sent to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for the "study" of coronaviruses.

We now have 9 donors and only $232 left to raise in order to qualify for the matching $1k grant. It would be such a huge blessing for the cats if we manage to get this done! I've said it before and will say it again here, because it's still true (and always will be): The only people involved in any way with this organization who receive any compensation are veterinarians. Every cent we take in is used directly to support the cats' welfare. Any money that you might decide to chip in will not be enriching me or any other person who takes care of these cats (aside from the vet, from time to time, which is unavoidable). One of the current rescue residents is Sophie. She was thrown out of a car along with her brother, Dimitri. Sophie was trembling and wet from being sprayed with a water gun when she came to us. She's about the sweetest little kitty I've ever met. Dimitri is sweet, too, but he likes to leap onto your shoulder by surprise, then tangle himself in your hair and nomm on your scalp. Both of them almost died of a flare-up of some rare kitty virus right after their neutering surgeries. Their mouths were so sore they couldn't eat, drink or even groom themselves for a long time without pain meds. The vet put it down to the extreme stress of their ordeal, brought to a crisis by the surgeries. They're both fine now, but the vet bills!!! This is the sort of stuff we deal with. It's very rewarding but sometimes quite heartbreaking at the same time. Another recent rescue we did was a large tom named Bruiser. He showed up with one ear torn to shreds and his face badly scratched. We had him neutered and treated by the vet, then he spent a week or so in our quarantine area. His wounds are all healed now, and he's a very happy boy! See these before and after pics of Bruiser.

There will be no "herd immunity" with this virus, just like there's no such thing with the common cold. There are just too many different strains, and more are coming about all the time. In one small town in Iceland, scientists found 40 different mutations in less than 9,768 people studied, and that was over a month ago.
