Meadows and Trump last week was the most fun . . . consider the North Carolina Congressman actually helped Trump win the election as much as most anyone. But Trump sticks with all the Reince Priebus inspired Paul "Marathon Man" Ryan disinformation, and says "I'm coming after you" to Congressman Meadows. Meadows saves Trump's arse - after the pickup of GOP Congressmen Frelinghuyen, Dent, and glass-ceiling breaker Herrera-Beutler all come on board to join the new GOP Revolution Caucus

It takes one "privileged" GOP House member - Meadows introduced it against Boehner - to file a motion to Vacate the Speaker. Put that up on the floor and although they do not vote on it right away, that really starts the process for thinking about just who can get something done with the GOP majority that Ryan can't. Sen. Mike Lee was on with Chuck Todd today . . . Chuck Todd : "The GOP party's core promise for four straight campaigns broken. How did it happen? And why are they giving up so easily?" Like Rand this past week, Lee said repeal of 0care is not over yet . . . even if Trump doesn't want to play anymore.

Charlie Dent was among the influential moderate Tuesday Group "No" votes . . . and a SW Washington State congresswoman was another confirmed "No" And there was New Jersey Rep. Frelinghuysen who serves as Chair of the House Appropriations Committee.. After the new amendment Ryan tried after the Thursday vote to actually vote Friday, I wonder if everyone was against Ryan's 0≤care. Of course, we should get a decent tally this week but not from Ryan.

Since they never held the vote . . . ya' have to wonder what misleading info/vote tally Ryan told Trump, and then Ryan tells us that "it was very, very close" - almost had it.*barf* The list of "no" moderates got very long didn't it ? An embarrassment to Trump for following Ryan's RINO clan. But will they blame it on the Freedom Caucus when Ryan won't see the clean repeal gets voted on either (?) No, of course GOP will need a new Speaker after Ryan's HealthScare bill was "the only way to repeal" OCare. According to Ryan - after today's meeting the President and Ryan are "the closest they have ever been" or something to that effect.

I maybe could make some argument that the federal government could have some function to provide catastrophic healthcare coverage, more as a public health argument perhaps. But the individual healthcare could be better left to the states - states could be the association of pooled risk talked about, maybe. But that is for the insurance industry, not government.

There's more . . . The dealmaker-in-chief got beat like a drum by the Speaker of the House. Paul Ryan played Donald Trump for the political amateur that he is, and even Trump knows it. Mr. Trump has told four people close to him that he regrets going along with Speaker Paul D. Ryanís plan to push a health care overhaul before unveiling a tax cut proposal more politically palatable to Republicans. He said ruefully this week that he should have done tax reform first when it became clear that the quick-hit health care victory he had hoped for was not going to materialize on Thursday, the seventh anniversary of the actís passage, when the legislation was scheduled for a vote. http://www.gq.com/story/paul-ryan-out-conned-donald-trump

Maybe that did happen . . . I really do not know/speculate about that, nor can confirm via youtube what I watched live via CSPAN's courtesy coverage to non-cable US citizens during the GOP House Stakeout, revealed after Priebus and Bannon walked out of the full GOP House Member meeting where they voted to vote - no holds barred. Yep. Trump gives Ryan full support but I kinda think that bromance is over now - wonder who survives ? 4D chess is hard - all those multimatrix (if ya' speak Linux OpenSCAD) I could be wrong of course, but maybe it is Trump's move after RINO Ryan went into hyperspace . . . checkers ?

Well Matt, they would have to at least record a "present" to help defeat and keep the needed number of "ayes" for a majority from the yes/no/present total. That aside, Ryan lost his RINO clan yesterday (some solid "no" and I suspect some "present" GOP votes) while the Freedom Caucus held the line. Wisconsin Republicans seem to understand.

Very happy here about how the GOP revolt against RyanRomneyCare went - the bloodbath vote would have been best. Ryan SuperPAC spent how much (?) in radio/TV ads in GOP districts only to FAIL against the Freedom Caucus bloc - more good news. Some nervous breakdowns from the GOP "yes" commitments yesterday are already reported - regretting that decision - but they were already ripe for challenges from newly empowered healthcare freedom candidates in 2018 mid-terms. All is swell, though champagne gets uncorked when Ryan is gone.

Rand Paul is right! the wall will get built without Ryan Rand, just write a bill and repeal Obamacare.....period. It ends on Jul 1, 2018. Then the Democrats come on board or they get nothing.

Clean repeal is in the air with that executive order, but even without it. People may be confused by the executive order as the law of the land Obamacare was in effect for 2016. Obamacare has resulted in a drop in life expectancy in the USA - never mentioned in yesterday's House debate by either side. That's already a good enuf reason for everybody to opt out of any plan/scheme denying healthcare freedom. As NY Times paper edition headline reads this am - GOP Revolt Sinks Bid to Void Health Law I will argue that any clean repeal gets signed into law by Trump - no veto like Obama, especially since Pence as President of the Senate will have already had to deem it a "reconciliation bill" needing only the GOP Senator majority.
