helmuth really likes me: 'Tell me about money. Really. Try to explain your views. I have never understood them, and I guarantee that not a single other person on RPF has either (if, indeed, there are any other posters who read your posts, which is doubtful). You have the floor, sir.' :o ...helmuth, rather than me trying to guess where your brain is 'off the track' as to 'money,' i submit my wildly popular :D, 'obstacles to clear thinking about the economy' http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?492483-Obstacles-to-Clear-Thinking-About-the-Economy which somewhat summarizes my 'views'...could you please merely copy and paste anything anywhere i've written that you don't understand (as to money') so i may have even a chance of understanding wtf you are blithering about...geez.. ...btw, you whine, essentially, 'hardly anyone reads or understands your crappy writing, panqui' (another 'worse than worthless' passage, helmuth!)...do you have any evidence that YOU are a more popular/better writer than i?.. ...

helmuth loves himself some panqui: "I am just unable to place you even in a human framework. I cannot imagine: "What kind of person is this that sits down and writes like this. What is he like? What is going through his head?" My brain just can't parse it. I'm trying to teach you to be human...frankenstein..." "I also would suggest dumbing down any message you want to present. A lot. Really, really a lot. The average IQ of your country is about 80. Average. None of these people can even understand the pronunciation of the word "libertarian," much less why they may want to pronounce it. I don't even know why they would. They probably wouldn't! So actually, I would suggest one of two possible paths (not that you can't do both... if you have unlimited time and resources): either radically dumb the message down, or radically intellectually juice the message up. This second option is that you just ignore all the people in your country who are completely incapable of understanding libertarianism (as well as being incapable of pronouncing the word, which is going to be just downright annoying for you) and focus on the upper-class elites, who are capable..." ...as jc fogerty artfully howled, 'before ya 'cuse me, take a look at yourse'f'

...our great conservative republican, trump, has proposed massive cuts!...and he will surely get this done...just like our great conservative republican, reagan!...yea republicans!!..go republicans!!...rah rah rah... https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1981/02/19/reagan-calls-for-414-billion-in-spending-cuts-for-fiscal-1982/e78afaa9-3560-485c-b24f-66564141b40a/?utm_term=.1e46a319cf44 President Reagan yesterday called for $41.4 billion in spending reductions in the 1982 fiscal year. About $16 billion of this would come from programs that primarily aid the poor, but would be taken, the administration maintained, in ways that would not hurt the truly needy. Medicaid, food stamps, housing aid to the poor and unemployment compensation all would be affected. Tenants in subsidized housing, the fastest growing of all federal welfare programs, would be required to pay 30 percent of income in rent, up from 25 percent now, and fewer new units would be added to the program. Grants to state and local governments would also be much reduced, and the U.S. Conference of Mayors quickly said through its president, Richard G. Hatcher of Gary, that Reagan's proposals "are not fair" to the cities. About $6.7 billion in further cuts could come in spending and loan programs that subsidize specific sectors of the economy. Among victims of these would be railroad, the Postal Service, dairy farmers, the Corporation for Public. Broadcasting, companies that sell airliners and nuclear power plants abroad, would-be synfuel producers, and some beneficiaries of federal water projects. Reagan is seeking to cut these projects somewhat as Jimmy Carter did four years ago. The $41.4 billion is a first installment in a program Reagan hopes will limit future growth in federal spending to 6 percent a year, starting with the 1982 fiscal year that begins Oct. 1.

As the object of charters is to give to members of companies powers which they would not possess in their individual capacity, the very existence of monied corporations is incompatible with equality of rights. Corporations are unfavorable to the progress of national wealth. As the Argus eyes of private interest do not watch over their concerns, their affairs are much more carelessly and much more expensively conducted than those of individuals. What would be the condition of the merchant who should trust everything to his clerks, or of the farmer who should trust everything to his laborers? Corporations are obliged to trust everything to stipendiaries, who are oftentimes less trustworthy than the clerks of the merchant or the laborers of the farmer. Such are the inherent defects of corporations that they never can succeed, except when the laws or circumstances give them a monopoly or advantages partaking of the nature of a monopoly. Sometimes they are protected by direct inhibitions to individuals to engage in the same business. Sometimes they are protected by an exemption from liabilities to which individuals are subjected. Sometimes the extent of their capital or of their credit gives them a control of the market. They cannot, even then, work as cheap as the individual trader, but they can afford to throw away enough money in the contest to ruin the individual trader, and then they have the market to themselves. If a poor man suffers aggression from a rich man, the disproportion of power is such that it may be difficult for him to obtain redress; but if a man is aggrieved by a corporation, he may have all its stockholders, all its clerks, and all its protégés for parties against him. Corporations are so powerful as frequently to bid defiance to government. If a man is unjust or an extortioner, society is, sooner or later, relieved from the burden by his death. But corporations never die. What is worst of all (if worse than what has already been stated be possible) is that want of moral feeling and responsibility which characterizes corporations. A celebrated English writer expressed the truth, with some roughness, but with great force, when he declared that "corporations have neither bodies to be kicked , nor souls to be damned."

In other words, they gave tax-free status to the income of, and to the income donated to, nonprofits. Since then, state and local laws nearly everywhere have exempted nonprofits from all, or most, property tax and state income tax.
