I buy 2 tickets whenever the jackpot is over 300 million. I hit the 0 + powerball on saturday, $4!! YAY, free tickets for Tuesday! If I win, I would take the lump sum and put the money into buying land and other physical assets.

Global warming is mainly caused by north pole icecap melting, this is nothing new, climate changes.. The white ice reflects energy back to space, they act as reflective thermal blankets, lowering temperatures. As the icecaps melt it decreases the amount of white surface area, and thus lowers the amount of energy reflected. The melt that water is then added to ocean, which traps heat and doesn't reflect it. So you end up with a self feeding cycle that will warm the planet. In the end, even if the temps warmed enough to melt all of the icecaps, the planet will eventually stabilize itself at a higher temperature. The planet will be fine, the people living in coastal areas and river plains will be fucked. To that I say oh fucking well, don't live there, we know that climates change from historical records... How many "sunken cities" and glacial ice damn flows do we have to discover to show that is a bad idea to live in those areas..

I live in rural TN, what bothers me about the DG they put in is that they have so many bright lights and they leave them on all night. It is a 15min drive there, and its lights are so bright it is a glow on the horizon from house. :/ I can no longer shoot night sky photographs of the northwest sky, they are filled with DG light pollution now... It is nice to not have to drive 40mins to town when I run out of sugar, but I wish they turn their damn lights off when they are closed.

No, this is like saying that the owners should have to pay a tax for each slave equal to that payed to the government by a wage earning employee.

You either put up with having a dollar general in your back yard, or you sell your property and move. I don't see how this is a dilemma at all for anyone that considers themselves a libertarian... I have no right to tell someone what they can do with their own property. The fact that the government thinks it has the right to do so is just one the reasons I hate government. The fact that people encourage government to make things like zoning laws is one the reasons I hate people. I moved to the middle of nowhere in the mountains in east TN, 40mins from town, and they just put a dollar general in 15 mins away from me too..

If just the transportation and agricultural industries were completely automated, the amount of people out of work would lead to a complete collapse of society. Once robots take over most of the jobs, there really are only 2 options.. Either people are given everything they need to live, or the population will need to be decreased dramatically. When humans, with the aid of technology, replaced beasts of burden, how did that work out for them? You see a lot of horses and oxen doing jobs now? See their populations booming? No... When the robots (AI) take replace the human worker, the same must happen to humans. Anyone looking to kill some time should read this novella about robots taking over: http://marshallbrain.com/manna1.htm

Helium 3 is worth about 3 billion a ton.. There are estimated 1,100,000 metric tonnes of helium-3 on the surface of the Moon. So that is 3,300,000,000,000,000 dollars worth.

Seems to me that cannabis is completely safe to smoke, it is breathing in mold and bacteria that is bad for you. The burning of cannabis exposes it to heat high enough to kill any bacteria, it is over 400 degrees. So burn flowers hot and use a water pipe if you are worried.. This could be a problem if you were vaping flower, as that only heats to 175. That said, there should be quality control on the amount of mold/bacteria found in the cannabis that is sold at stores. The conditions that some of these mass grows are improperly cured in an environment ripe for mold production. Wet bud weighs more, and it is being rushed to market improperly cured, because it means more profits.. Will this testing drive up the price and crush out the little guys, you bet it will. But when you buy something from a store you expect a certain level of quality control, don't you?

Libertarianism 101. All rights are derived from property. Who's property is being violated? The united States. Who owns the united States? Its citizens. So who is damaged by illegal immigration? Every citizen of the united States.

The line techs left the lid on the junction box open on the street, gets rain in it, screws up the internet. This is the story told by the crew they sent out for my last fix. In 3 years I have been without cable for less than 48 hours. Longest outage was from pole downed by high winds and they had to wait for the winds to stop.

Sounds pretty clear to me that if Trump wanted to round up the mayors of sanctuary cities and prosecute them under 1324 A-1-iii, he could. He could go after the governors of the states those cities are in using 1324 A-1-v-I Read the law: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/8/1324

When we go to war with Iran, Russia will be on our side. I can totally see Putin and Trump making a backroom deal to just steamroll the middle east together and take it all. China wont like it, but Putin will give them a deal on a pipeline, so not even they are going to poke the bear.

No thanks. Those types of carriers have very poor service... If you are not Verizon here, your calls don't connect, and if the do they get dropped soon as one their customer comes in range. I had to switch off ATT to Verizon just to get a reliable service, no fucking way a boost mobile or other shit tier company would get any service. Here is the Google Fi coverage where I live..

I am pretty sure this is a goal, war is good for business... He is going to make America great again!! Like after WWII when we were the manufacture for the world, since most other developed nations had their industrial areas turned to rubble.

#1) The constitution protects your rights, it does not grant them to you. Rights cannot be granted, only privileges are granted. #2) The constitution protects the rights of its citizens. If you are not a citizen, then your rights are not protected, and all you have are privileges. All cleared up now? They can tell what tower your phone pinged last, but this is talking about the option that broadcast your location every time you enter an location. Ever see on Facebook, "so and so visited blah" with a pic of a map, that is the location app doing its thing, got to turn that shit off, it is on by default. My "Phone settings/Location" has 2 options. Location: "On" or "E911 only". There is no way to turn off it broadcasting its location when calling 911.
