This is private property. The way they should be told to leave is by breaking one of their skulls wide open. I feel like that message will resonate.

I don't know anything about trucks (or really cars either). But I mentioned in the other thread I own an Impala. It basically costs me next to nothing to own. It has been a great vehicle. That said, the research I have done in the last week, Japanese sedans (specifically Toyota and Lexus) hold their resale value much better. And they are cheaper to maintain. https://www.yourmechanic.com/article/the-most-and-least-expensive-cars-to-maintain-by-maddy-martin

He proudly lives off the government without having any physical ailment. I have all the sympathy in the world for those who have bad luck in life. Medical bills are expensive. There are all sorts of bad things that can happen. People I have no sympathy for are those who don't even try, then scold people who do put in the effort. That's what this guy comes here and does.

Japanese cars are high quality cars that are less expensive. I think Toyota Camry is the best selling car right now. I don't see this happening if for no other reason it would be universally unpopular with almost every voting constituency. I would be surprised if this was anything more than bluster for a few people living in the Rust Belt.

I don't know if you are talking to me, but I provided factual arguments to why socialism is the cause. You cannot seize private property on a mass scale and have a functioning economy. You are going to have capital flight out of the country. That happens every time. It happened in Zimbabwe. Price controls lead to shortages. It can't be any other way. It is non-debatable. Those are the least free countries in the world. North Korea is 180 out of 180. Communism does not work. This is a settled issue. Cliques? I like reading contrarian opinions. I like Zippyjuan's posts even if they sometimes are a little annoying. He makes me think and defend my view. What he doesn't do is try to justify Communism as a system. A reasonable person cannot hold that view.

Hugo Chavez took numerous American businesses. That is never an appropriate solution. So what do you mean the the arbiters were biased to the US? Chavez literally just plundered US businesses and didn't even pay them. He said he did it because they were "exploiting the workers." This is a historical fact. https://www.google.com/search?q=chavez+seize+us+businesses&rlz=1C1CHZL_enUS757US757&oq=chavez+seize+us+businesses&aqs=chrome..69i57.4807j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 I don't get these eyerolls. You can't have a functioning economy when anytime you are successful the government is going to take your business. That isn't debatable. Who is going to invest in a country like that? Socialism is 100% of the problem in Venezuela. Not 99%. 100%. The United States is 0% of Venezuela's problem. A coup is totally legitimate against Chavez. He should have had his head cut off and kicked around like a soccer ball. He should have gotten the Mussolini treatment.

"It stickers for $86,995" That is so unfathomable to me. I drive an 07 Impala with 88000 miles on it. I had a service that cost over 2k a couple of years ago and just had to take it to the dealer because the engine light was on. I was thinking this weekend about getting a different vehicle. Then I started looking at prices on cargurus and thought better of it.

My life won't change as a result of anything that happens related to this. That is what I meant by not caring too much. I don't know if other people condone breaking necks on Ron Paul Forums, but I do. I wish bad things on bad people. The guy hijacked a plane and stole $200,000. I don't want to see someone get away with that. I hope someone like that falls to his death. I don't see a libertarian case for hijacking planes.

Truthfully, I hope he broke his neck on the fall and was eaten by a bear. But I don't really care that much either way. As far as Robinhood, it is kind of strange he is looked up to. Rob from the rich and give to the poor is an awful message to teach kids. I used to watch this popular Saturday morning cartoon called Captain Planet. Looking back, it was basically just anti-capitalist propaganda. All the villains were businessmen. I see this was pointed out way back on Ron Paul Forums. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?185231-Was-Captain-Planet-a-propaganda-cartoon

I remember one quarter where Massie raised around $8000. Massie would get curb stomped in a statewide race unless he got incredibly lucky with the opponents. The last thing in the world he should do is run for Senate. Massie won his House seat in kind of a fluke. He should hang on to that seat for dear life.

I heard him say that a couple of times the other night. The Cavs don't seem like a tight knit team. They are always getting frustrated on missed passes. Houston is even worse in that respect. Houston may win but Harden is not a leader. He has the same personality as Russell Westbrook just always brooding on the bench. Horrible team players. Absolutely insane that Harden will be MVP. He isn't the most valuable person on their team.

I don't get why so House reps want to run for Gov or Senate. A lot of the better reps have only been there since 2011. What makes me mad is there will no mention of this on Lew Rockwell and Reason or the other libertarian sites. Raul Labrador basically has 90% of the same views as Ron Paul. There are like 5 people this good in politics. I would happily vote for Raul Labrador as the LP nominee.

I have no sympathy for anyone making minimum wage who lives in a place with $1500 a month. None. A person with $1500 a month rent should be making like 70k a year minimum. Not minimum wage. Otherwise they should be moving to a more affordable place. There are other places to live than California or New York or Boston.

That isn't really a great prediction though. One didn't have anything to do with the other. Can you name a vote where Rand's vote was needed and he had a huge compromise? The only one can think of is maybe voting for skinny repeal on Obamacare. But I don't see that as a compromise.

That makes sense, because I basically agreed with it. My point is the judiciary is the most likely place to result in libertarianism because it is the least accountable to voters.

You could make the country libertarian on domestic issues overnight through the judiciary and there would be nothing the legislature or states could do about it. Just reassert the 14th Amendment and almost everything becomes unconstitutional. https://www.vox.com/2015/1/17/7628543/rand-paul-lochner You would eliminate any law that infringed on freedom of contract which would eliminate drug laws, work regulations, and pretty much anything where you have people voluntarily consenting. Liberal judges used that aspect of the 14th Amendment to make abortion and contraception legal. All you would need are a few Andrew Napolitano's on the court to make the laws consistent and allow the same 15 year old girl the right of abortion the right work for $5 an hour.

Good point. Teachers are super hard workers that get fired all the time for poor performance. Or there are school districts that go decades without firing a teacher. One of the two.

It is funny I was just thinking about that. Even though I know it is not normal, I only use paper plates, plastic forks, and plastic cups. Life is so much easier that way. Silverware, cups and plates make no sense and are only a social convention.

It turns out maybe you are right about not calling the cops. She actually called the cops from a gas station and asked them to pull her over. What is the head scratcher here is they charged the wanted kid with second degree murder even though the police shot the woman. I don't fully understand that. http://www.ozarksfirst.com/news/passenger-charged-in-savannah-hills-death/1173567101

We do have socialized medicine. That was the most mild thing about what I posted. She says wants a planned economy. Just in the three short snippets she says, her words, that she wants wealth equally distributed. She wants everyone with the same healthcare with no option for private treatment. She says she wants a 30 hour week week with 40 hours of pay. She supports spread the work as a solution to get full employment. She literally supports workers owning the means of production. And who talks like "do you want old people dying"? I guess me because I support ending Medicare and old people will guess just die or something. To be clear, I don't differentiate morally between Cindy Sheehan and a Nazi. She is a communist. She wants everyone to be a slave. She has the same policy views as Fidel Castro. It is not a good thing when Castro is the politician she is closest to in rhetoric.
