A small number of stocks are causing this melt up. Stay at home stocks and tech stocks like electric vehicles. 1281205030910115845 1280636169206759424 The flip side is the Fed is really aggressive and a lot other sentiment indicators show people still not believing the rally. I wouldn't be surprised if any selloff is just short lived. Maybe a rotation out of Nasdaq stocks and into smaller companies seems possible. But who knows? But there is this

Scaling in slowly. Shorted qqq small two days ago. Bought puts yesterday and today. Not going to add right now. Don't feel great about it. Even though everything is up not really climaxy moves. Watching Fsly, gsx, lvgo for red days to short. Also looking at all electric car stocks to short bldp tsla blnk nio solo. There is probably a 90% chance gsx is a total fraud and a zero and everyone knows it but it is 90 bucks because the market doesn't care. Tech bubble valuations right now.

Alright. This is just obnoxious. The only time I can find the 10 day moving average of the put call ratio this low is two weeks before the flash crash in 2010. Maybe this time is different for a variety of reasons. But there is strong evidence to believe Nasdaq will take a huge shit next couple of weeks. I don't care how much money the Fed is printing. I think 5% pull back seems doable from QQQ at 262.18. Down below 250.

She didn't tweet this. I am always amazed how people fall for fake Tweets. I have seen so many fake Trump Tweets that are obviously fake. If a Tweet is ridiculously on the nose probably a fake no matter who sent it. https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2020/jun/23/viral-image/no-aoc-didnt-tweet-about-closing-businesses-until-/

Some small cracks showing in the market. Shopify and Fasly down on a big up day in the market. Tesla looks like a bit of a blowoff move. Decent odds of another gap up tomorrow. If the market gaps up and closes red tomorrow above average chance for start of a pull back. Nasdaq 22% above the 200 day. Vix closed up slightly on a big up day which has been a tell this year.

As opposed to what. Learning about liberty from a guy like you who thinks private equity firms buying companies is evil or the guy I responded to who wants the government to step in and stop Twitter from banning people.

Learn what a libertarian is. I've already posted enough links on this from people like Walter Block. But just to confirm, you think government should play no role in preventing the spread of a deadly virus by something as cheap as a mask. That's tyranny. But you are for completely dismantling the property rights of private businesses like Twitter and Facebook because you don't like their politics.

See me, smart person, prefers the $10 of tyranny of having to buy a mask. You, well I won't characterize you, prefer the tens of thousands of dollars of cost for future bailouts on top of the tens of thousands in cost of shuttering the economy. I believe $10 is less aggression than tens of thousands of dollars.

I am already way out there on this. I think the lockdown was wrong. I think people under 50 should live their lives and even get the virus because of herd immunity. I laughed at how insane these athletes are worrying about the coronavirus when the death rate is zero for young and healthy all the while the actual sport they play is far more dangerous. But Jesus Christ. You have something that costs nothing to you, reduces deaths substantially and could help prevent another shutdown. The coronavirus isn't a made up conspiracy theory. At this point I would just make the fines $10,000 for not having a mask. Problem solved. A lot cheaper than costing the economy trillions in shutdowns.

Giving someone a virus is an act of aggression. Masks work. Masks should be mandated. They reduce aggression. Opposition to masks on freedom grounds is a special kind of dumb. But i guess people prefer the freedom to be locked down periodically and more bailouts instead of doing something simple like wearing a mask. https://www.marketwatch.com/story/wearing-a-mask-to-halt-the-spread-of-coronavirus-has-a-big-impact-on-us-economic-growthand-goldman-has-done-the-math-2020-06-30

Not really graphic as much as pornographic. I quite enjoy watching people blocking traffic gets run over. And of course the reason this isn't a story is because the driver was black and the rioters were white.

If you don't believe in markets what would your connection to Ron Paul be? This is about the most basic and most important liberty concept. You are comparing starting a new government which requires violence to starting a social media company which requires skills. There are millions of businesses. If there is a need, entrepreneurs fill that need. They have a thing called a profit motive. Works quite well.

I don't see having basic principles as something requiring will power like a diet to stick to. This an easy. Property rights and markets work. If there is a demand for tolerant social media platforms, it will be filled.

I don't understand the vaccine phobia at all. But they shouldn't be mandatory except in an extreme circumstance. If you had an ebola outbreak and there was a vaccine for it I would mandate that in a heartbeat.

Actually I am not. You aren't injecting something that has an outside chance of being harmful with a mask. There is no downside and only upside with masks. I am, however, for putting strong nudges in place to get vaccinated.

Masks should be mandatory. Masks work. I really don't understand the objection to this at all. This isn't some grave infringement on freedom. This should have been the policy instead of a shutdown. To reiterate, infecting someone with a virus is an act of aggression. Given this isn't anarchotopia where you would take a baseball bat to someone who infects another person, masks seem like a nice alternative preventative measure.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/comex_gold_futures_open_interest I don't know much about this stuff but... Increasing open interest tends to means increased shorts. Falling open interest means short covering. Commercial hedgers are often the shorts and also the smart money. Open interest is rising right now. Make of that what you want.

I don't think you should fight the Fed. This guy has sent a variation of this Tweet for years and has been very prescient. One difference between now and the tech bubble is Greenspan actively deflated the bubble with tightening. Don't see that happening now unless inflation ticks up. 1258522254473715713 That said, intermediate term (next 2-5 months, Nasdaq tech stocks overdue for a spill. Eventually people need a breather. Good data driven article on sentiment right now (from a source more credible than 99.8% of garbage posted on financial sites.) https://sentimentrader.com/blog/rising-instability-after-a-historic-stock-market-rally--25-6-2020/
