Why would you be scared. Most non-white countries are thriving in the First World. For example, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, errrr... Just named them all.

If you don't believe in markets what would your connection to Ron Paul be? This is about the most basic and most important liberty concept. You are comparing starting a new government which requires violence to starting a social media company which requires skills. There are millions of businesses. If there is a need, entrepreneurs fill that need. They have a thing called a profit motive. Works quite well.

I don't see having basic principles as something requiring will power like a diet to stick to. This an easy. Property rights and markets work. If there is a demand for tolerant social media platforms, it will be filled.

By a making a comment that I see left wing boobuses and right wing theocrats make. Just because you support the legality of something doesn't mean you support it. I support legalizing all drugs. I am not "happy" and I am not supportive of people ruining their lives with drugs.

What do you think should happen? It is despicable. These platforms are basically segregationists saying you can't eat there. But it shouldn't be against the law.

I don't understand the vaccine phobia at all. But they shouldn't be mandatory except in an extreme circumstance. If you had an ebola outbreak and there was a vaccine for it I would mandate that in a heartbeat.

Actually I am not. You aren't injecting something that has an outside chance of being harmful with a mask. There is no downside and only upside with masks. I am, however, for putting strong nudges in place to get vaccinated.

Masks should be mandatory. Masks work. I really don't understand the objection to this at all. This isn't some grave infringement on freedom. This should have been the policy instead of a shutdown. To reiterate, infecting someone with a virus is an act of aggression. Given this isn't anarchotopia where you would take a baseball bat to someone who infects another person, masks seem like a nice alternative preventative measure.

https://ycharts.com/indicators/comex_gold_futures_open_interest I don't know much about this stuff but... Increasing open interest tends to means increased shorts. Falling open interest means short covering. Commercial hedgers are often the shorts and also the smart money. Open interest is rising right now. Make of that what you want.

I don't think you should fight the Fed. This guy has sent a variation of this Tweet for years and has been very prescient. One difference between now and the tech bubble is Greenspan actively deflated the bubble with tightening. Don't see that happening now unless inflation ticks up. 1258522254473715713 That said, intermediate term (next 2-5 months, Nasdaq tech stocks overdue for a spill. Eventually people need a breather. Good data driven article on sentiment right now (from a source more credible than 99.8% of garbage posted on financial sites.) https://sentimentrader.com/blog/rising-instability-after-a-historic-stock-market-rally--25-6-2020/

The odds of the market taking a spill from these levels in the next quarter are very high. Probably holds until July 1 because funds will be buying stocks they missed for end of quarter window dressing. The only precedent for what is happening right now in terms of the sentiment extremes being hit is the tech bubble. I will post a number of indicators over the weekend. Maybe the Fed keeps things going in stocks but intermediate term the market is more vulnerable than I have seen. Tech stocks are divorced from reality. 100% chance Zoom and Shopify are 30 to 50% lower over the next 12 months. Shorter term Fastly will take a spill from 83. I don't care how good their product is.

That is exactly right. From what I remember a significant number of people at that Charlottesville thing didn't realize how many white supremacists would be there. The reality is these rallies with Richard Spencer have a couple of dozen people. The number of Nazis is a rounding error but there are masses of anti-capitalist Marxists. Trump was smeared with that fine people on both sides comments. But no one in the press ever goes berserk when people protest with violent Communists. Just watched a woman who cofounded Black Lives Matter saying that they (meaning the other founders and her) were trained Marxists. But the press acts like that is some right wing conspiracy theory when people bring that up about Black Lives Matter. The whole idea of social justice, which Hayek said was the single thing he wanted to wipe out most, is just Marxism. Yet social justice is just accepted as worthy goal by the press and anyone who questions it is just some troglodyte bigot. Hayek on social Justice "I have come to feel strongly that the greatest service I can still render to my fellow men would be that I could make the speakers and writers among them thoroughly ashamed ever again to employ the term "social justice." ""I am certain, however, that nothing has done so much to destroy the juridical safeguards of individual freedom as the striving after this mirage of social justice."

List of Achievements by White People: Everything good in human history. A little tongue in cheek. Obviously, people of all ethnic groups have made contributions and innovations to humanity. And it doesn't mean whites are superior. Only individuals are superior. But 92% of the innovation and things that are good seems like the correct number.

Literally everyone is a squish in your opinion on the 2nd Amendment. You would equate George Washington with Ruth Bader Ginsburg if he were alive. You thought Rand Paul supporting a two day waiting period for people on a no fly list was horrible sin. Kavanaugh is very solid on the issue. Pretty sure he is one of the better judges on the issue. Bad on the Patriot Act. One issue.

Kavanaugh is a pretty good judge. Would have been absurd to vote against him. Rand's top libertarian legal advisor gave Kavanaugh a big thumbs up. Pompeo is debatable but he was a solid congressman particularly on domestic issues.

For anyone under 30 to get exposed to freedom ideas today requires an extreme act of will and an ability to discard the media, Twitter, Hollywood, and schooling from grade school through college. There will always be some red pilled people but it is very stacked against getting exposed to this. I am on the older end of millennial and I think about how abnormal I was to get interested in this stuff. I used to watch Rush Limbaugh's old TV show before school and then moved on to watching 20/20 with John Stossel starting around 6th grade. It seems like anything on the right is being marginalized and phased out.

I have never heard the word Juneteenth in my life before last week How the hell did all of sudden become a thing? This reminds me of Gary Johnson and Aleppo where all these smug internet trolls don't want to look foolish by admitting they have no idea what something is either. As an aside, I had never heard of Aleppo before Gary Johnson and I have heard the word used zero times since (except to mock Johnson).

The market is still really strong. The stocks that have lead the rally (tech like Shopify Tesla and the biotech stocks) are still really strong. Even though there are a lot speculative extremes major tops are a process that don't happen overnight.

"Far Right sites" Almost every news outlet is far left. I remember tons of insane left wing editorials from NBCnews.com and they call The Federalist far right? It's pretty convenient when you just cancel everyone who is on the right because you say they are racist or hateful. The crap on CNN is getting bonkers. It is a cartoon network of left wing hate. MSNBC is just a Russia conspiracy/Communist propaganda network that calls everyone Hitler and racist. There are NEVER repercussions for the left either monetarily or loss of reputation for saying insane things.

Police do a lot wrong. It disgusts me whenever I see a dog shit in a no knock raid. But this wasn't some noble saint. He was a violent animal who got what was coming to him. Maybe don't pass out in a drive thru blocking business. Whatever happened to propery rights? Then maybe don't resist a totally legitimate arrest. Then maybe don't fight with police and steal a weapon that can incapacitate them. This is insane. People are siding with a violent career criminal using violence against police during a legitimate arrest.

Excessive DUI laws? The guy was passed out in a drive thru? Seems like that is the kind of person those laws legitimately apply to. I am sorry. This is beyond insane. This guy was a violent criminal just out of prison from seven year sentence. He also previously assaulted an officer He stole a police officers taser. I feel bad for the officers. Hope they sue for wrongful termination.
