Is Javier Milei Making Argentina Great Again?
The new Argentine president is popular with American libertarians, but his record at home looks increasingly populist and authoritarian.

P. Diddy’s homes were raided by the feds on Monday following multiple lawsuits alleging the music mogul engaged in abuse and human trafficking. Given that Diddy is one of the most connected businessmen in the music industry, this isn’t the first time people have spoken out against Sean Combs.
Been saying it since the seventies. Nobody listens.
What now? Rehire a politician who promised to make America great again, and didn't? Or hire someone who might make the government stand down and stand back, and let Americans make America great again? Because no politicians ever did that thing.
I just can't figure out why Trump keeps selling the band aid and rarely mentions the cure.
Do you really think that's what Sauron's Ring is?
Do us all a favor. Tell us which Tolkien forum you're going to, and when, and start talking about Sauron's Ring of Free Trade. That would be an amusing troll.
So, in your book free trade is an exercise of centralized power. Maybe you'd like to explain to the class how that works...

Jon Stewart benefited by 829% ‘overvalue’ of his NYC home even as he labels Trump’s civil case ‘not victimless’

Comedian Jon Stewart ranted this week that Donald Trump’s civil real-estate case overvaluing his properties was “not victimless,” yet when it came to his own home, Stewart benefited from a similar inflation.
You really can't figure out why OSHA is relevant to the conversation? Really?
I thought you could.
Why do you think sticking on a few tariffs like band aids will solve the problems OSHA and EPA and all the rest create better than getting rid of the problems would?
This is why Republicans have been failing for 95 years. You're all having too much fun whining about the havoc the Democrats (and Republicans like Nixon) caused and using it as an excuse for even more random exercises of power to simply undo the damage.

Based on the idea of natural rights, government secures those rights to the individual by strictly negative intervention, making justice costless and easy of access; and beyond that it does not go. The State, on the other hand, both in its genesis and by its primary intention, is purely anti-social. It is not based on the idea of natural rights, but on the idea that the individual has no rights except those that the State may provisionally grant him. It has always made justice costly and difficult of access, and has invariably held itself above justice and common morality whenever it could advantage itself by so doing.
