Caveats: People who get arrested don't like being arrested. and The following article comes from NPR. That being said, this article covers Chauvin's record as a kop.

No, I'm not either. The kops have a duty to protect those that they take into their custody......although just wait for that to be upended by some clown court. All Chauvin had to do was to place the gentle giant on the ground and keep a hand on him to make sure that he wouldn't spring to his feet and do the Jesse Owens and escape. But Chauvin grinned at the crowd and kept kneeling on his neck to show the Blue Team's occupation dominance over the rabble. Optics go a long way....long enough to land him in prison.

No sympathy for Chauvin, except standard sympathy for anyone in the prison system. The system of violence is allowed and encouraged by the State to augment the punishment agenda. Whether he actually killed St. George Floyd is of little relevance to me when you think about what Chauvin did to throw people in the very place that he finds himself. I wouldn't rule out a crass attempt on Chauvin's part to gain sympathy going into his media/appeal campaign.

I signed up. I hope to never need it. Actually, I hope that I remember that I have it if something goes down.

JFK would be absolutely despised by everybody if he were on the scene today. He would appeal only to a small fringe following.

+rep for this one, AF. I had no idea that the FAA had fallen so far, so fast. I've noticed in recent years many more obviously minority voices from atc and that is often associated with dialects that do not clearly transmit over the radio. It is literally mush-mouth. This poor annunciation would not have been tolerated in years past. That, by itself, will contribute to incidents/accidents over time. On the airline side, it is quite obvious who they want for pilots when you see their recruitment ads. Be afraid folks, be very afraid.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't care. However, what is happening in NYC is happening is every large city in the country. Disgruntled city folk are fleeing to flyover country where I live and are driving up the prices and bringing their politics with them. I almost hope that VVPutin lets a few fly so that the vermin are exterminated in their clusters before too many of them escape.

From what I understand, at one point in Soviet history after the Great War, there were huge numbers of destitute handicapped veterans who were left to living on the streets and begging for food and money in Moscow. Allegedly, they all disappeared one night. There are rumors about them all being loaded on a barge and taken somewhere. As far as I know, this is unconfirmed.

What methods did they use to remove these people?

I think that Trump may feel a little extra vulnerable in Ukraine. It is a place where something could happen to someone and that something could be blamed on someone else. It would solve some really bad peoples' problems. Plus, I think that Trump is personally a petty, out for himself coward.

She has a valid gripe about the present state of affairs, but she has no concept of what brought us here. I'm quite certain that she supports the worst of the worst that has ruined this nation and that her mind is full of marxist shat. I would love to inform her that she has an excellent "fall back" opportunity. She has just enough curb appeal to be able to find a motivated young man who gladly still works for the beast and makes a good enough living to support her as long as she bares and competently raises his children and is there to meet him with a friendly smile and a warm meal when he comes back from work every evening. But I'll bet that her "education" has taught her not to be "marginalized" in that manner.

You pretty much nailed it. I did get something of value out of this. I never heard of this Walsh guy, so now I know not to listen to him in the future. This is a rare case of the corporate media properly reporting a simple story without biased drama. This Walsh guy is just adding a sh1t topping to a nothingburger.

They could do both. It wouldn't surprise me if Zelenskiiii still gets a fat 'gubmint check long after he is exiled to Miami Beach, Monaco, or Tel Aviv. I'm sure that Juan Guaido gets a check for being the "legitimate" leader of Venezuela.
