Finland and Sweden are unlikely to allow nuke armed missiles on their territory. Poland and the Baltic states will enthusiastically welcome them.

I strongly suspect that missile trajectories from Poland and the Baltic states represent a fairly narrow spectrum that Russia could counter with their ABM systems. Ukraine is huge with a very long border with Russia, thus a much wider spectrum of missile trajectories into Russia. I would find this unacceptable if I were Russia.

There are clear-cut examples of cops murdering people, but the incidents that gain traction (riots) are the ones where the justification for the shooting are not so clear. I don't know what the specific laws are in this state, but look for deadly force to be justified regarding a fleeing armed felon that allegedly shot at the cops. There are better examples to protest than this one. I suppose the cops aggravated the natives with ventilating him so thoroughly. The disrespect to the corpus brings to mind Saint Michael Brown, where the cops made no attempt to provide medical aid and left his body like a dropped rhino in the middle of the hood for hours, taunting the natives with disrespect.

Will it really surprise anyone here when Liz comes from behind to win? I live in Missouri and I must admit that Greitens is a bit of a puzzlement. I despise his background and resume, and I didn't vote for him. However, he wasn't all that terrible when he was governor. It might have been that he didn't have enough time to get around to do the full terrible stuff. Perhaps he has developed a new, eye-opening view of law enforcement and the court system. Let us hope. It is not an automatic disqualifier for me, but Greitens is a member of the tribe, however I have not heard the usual line from him. Once again, perhaps he just hasn't had time to come around to it. Greitens defeated two very good candidates for governor last time around with his navy seal bs. He called up one of his elderly opponents and threatened to assault him. Boobus loved it and elected him.

There seem to be no shortage of agents to bring the heat down on these dangerous criminals. Remember this when your local sheriff/cop says that he won't come and take your (insert item here).

Believe it or not, $100,000 for a training program that has the potential to hire into a company that has automatic flow to a mainline airline is the best deal going in aviation outside of getting into military flight school. I doubt that there are many young people writing checks for the whole enchilada. The link below indicates that financing is available and payments are deferred as long as the participant is making satisfactory progress. Seems to me that cost is not a barrier. I'm speculating here, but I think that the sterling record of the Tuskegee pilots was rooted in that they screened for the best of the best of a large, untapped pool of talent. I'm also speculating that the training standards were inflexible and perhaps more grueling than for the average flight program. Along with tough, inflexible standards comes the lack of boo-hoo when someone gets washed out. Lastly, these men were not selected above their experience level......there was very little to no prior experience level in wartime pilot recruitment....there is only pre-existing aptitude. There are many more flight slots than candidates in wartime. Civilian aviation always has limited slots vs demand for people wanting jobs. Abandoning merit-based hiring into these positions creates a tremendous amount of animosity.
