he's 75, was born in 1945. In ten years, he'd be 85. Assuming he runs in 2024 or 2028 and wins... By 2030 he's either gotten his 2nd term, or he's halfway through it, assuming he wins either election and the Amendment preventing him from a 3rd term is in effect. Lets assume he never wanted a coup but does want a second term, 2o32 is the last possible year for him to run for the presidency, he'd be 87 then. The odds are, its going to be 2024 or he gives up on any future POTUS run. He has heirs.

He'd say he's got a second bill of health, he's faced down an impeachment trial, twice. Any political position he wants to run for remains open unless he's hit with a censure vote. He has the rest of his life to write his memoirs of the last four tumultuous years.

If he has 2/3rds of the U.S Senate vote to convict, he can designate an "heir" for the MAGA movement. He cam campaign for his heir. He then might get back into the White House and D.C, even if he has been censured under Clause 3 of the 14th Amendment. Being found guilty only puts a crimp on his style, for a short and brief span of time, if MAGA becomes a political party all to itself. He is not going away too soon.

true.... but thats the faction inside the Democratic Party that is like the fringe elements inside the Trotskyites of yesteryear who were torn between being upright, law biding citizens who are pacifists, and the real "mad dog" bomb throwers. The folks who were like the more militant members of the Weather Underground much later on. I miss the CLEAN FOR GENE kids, who were 5 to 15 years older than me, and i had looked at the Democratic Convention and was upset over the chaos in the streets. What was worse was the Chicago cops going at least ten floors up in the hotel, and taking a billy club to EUGENE McCARTHY's campaign workers and staff.LBJ liked what

George McGovern is a New Deal Liberal. Mitt Romney + Bill Clinton flirted with the Centrist Label. Strom Thurmond liked being a Dixiecrat Barry Goldwater WAS a Conservative... and POTUS Richard Milhous Nixon shocked the older IKE voters in the GOP with his foul"potty mouth" as he hunkered down in the Oval Office as a tape recorder was running. I have moments of nostalgia about how quaint & tidy the Watergate scandal was.

Pence got almost 555,ooo votes in the 2012 GOP primary for governor when unopposed. i admit he can be a total idiot, but the press and public had thought he was extremely loyal to DJT up until now. i haven't been banned from Twitter, i admit i have a Twitter account, but its dormant. i seldom if ever tweet to it. I have been banned. at one point, i was on a site where there was a poster who ended up becoming a "hydra-head" troll. I was thought to be one of the troll's monikers. i found my nickname for that science fiction posting board forum inside the list of the banned identities. a hyrda-head troll is a solitary person who has opened up a string of accounts. They sometimes can argue with themselves often. this is to be differentiated from an admin who does this to puff up the members list in order to have a website be more active.

If that lil ole story was correct, they all, those 9 robed judges, were damned if they did, damned if they didn't We just saw erstwhile "trumpsters" riot while pretending to be "antifa" and yes, its not the full speech st the ELIPSE that set the fuse, only part of it. In the 1930s there were times when Nazis posed as Trotskyites and would try to bomb public buildings, The spies Stalin & Beria recruited would pose as loyal Nazis. It is not ruled out that in the good old bad old days a Stalinist spy could have helped a band of Trotskyites put a bomb together in order gain "brownie" points with a very "take charge" Nazi.

TheTexan, even if you are correct about this, and Trump is anywhere from 40% to 90% accurate in his claims, TWITTER as a really big privately owned company is aware of all the tweets he tweeted and the tweets in reply to the tweets he did, let alone the tweets that respond to the initial tweet or tweets that try to be corrective. The volatile stew of this Tweet*Fest then triggers the riot. Twitter bans him much quicker than it would have me, were i to make very similar tweets & spark a controversy. Like is not fair. Trump is either innocent or guilty.

He claimed that Pennsylvania had 205,000 more ballots than they did voters. He claimed that Pennsylvania's official vote count included 10,000 votes that had illegally been received after election day. He claimed that thousands of dead people voted in Pennsylvania and Georgia. He claimed that poll watches in Fulton County Georgia were told to leave under false pretenses of a pipe burst, at which time Democrat operatives produced boxes of fraudulent votes out from under a table. He claimed that 66,000 votes in Georgia were cast by people under the legal voting age. He claimed that late in the night before his speech Georgia officials had mysteriously found 50,000 more ballots for their Senate elections. He claimed that in Arizona 36,000 votes were cast by noncitizens. He claimed that in Arizona 11,600 more ballots were counted than there are actual voters. He claimed that 150,000 people registered to vote in Maricopa County Arizona after the registration deadline.

in all seriousness.... if i make a comment about the military governor of Tennessee in a most positive manner once i get past his obvious racism and stubborn bordering on churlish character, can i now opine that Trump is a blithering jackass by party affinity, which i do admit is a high ideal most politicians who are Democrats can only aspire to, but never really arrive at??? can i opine that words uttered in public do matter, but they are open to interpretation. ole andy johnson was 100% loyal to the Union when he was in our Senate, and when he was hit by an unexpected job promotion in terms of salary on April 15th of 1865. He tried to govern our nation. yes... he tended to think the South of his day had a caste

Teddy Kennedy since the early 70s had a staff of 100 clever souls. They got bills thru Congress for him, he spent 3 decades of his life getting almost totally drunk on a daily basis. Biden will have a bright young staff around him.

Biden could live until he is 90. He might last for 2 terms if she totally runs the country after about June of 2o22. I think she thinks if she metaphorically plays her cards right, she gets HER two full terms AFTER Joe Biden's two.

LUV..... Northern Ireland had its Plantation system, too. The SERFs, SLAVes, Bond-Servants who didst labor on the same, well long before the LABOUR PARTY comes into being, those humble souls....were Catholics. I am Northern Irish, i have O'Neill blood, an ancestor who was a great leader prior to the year 1600 has a granddaughter a male ancestor of mine married. My family in the north, in the area they lived in, were some of the heirs of the last great O'Neill HIGH KINGs. I am kin to the late Tip O'Neill. I am 1/4th Scots Irish, 1/4th Southern Irish. I have close Protestant and Catholic Irish cousins. I framed Trump's pure hapless idiocy in HIGH WHIG and AULD 1700s TORY terms, as if Edmund Burke can debate Thomas Paine. I may go REFORM Party if i try for a public office.. ..................................................................................................................................................................................................................

AF ---- You do have a point. BILL WELD is more Libertarian than is Donald Trump, who is just a Libertine. As you may have seen, i put the full text of the 1715 Riot Act on here, to explain Trump's failures. I do admit Doctor Ron Paul and maybe even DOCTOR RAND PAUL are more LIBERTARIAN than is BILL WELD. I know this full well, your take on 1776. It has more backbone than this musical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwjI1N-GUqA

THADDEUS STEVENS was a much better lawyer than most of his contemporaries. I actually have an ancestor who was a British Barrister in the early 1800s who did argue at the Old Bailey. YES and NO. THADDEUS STEVENs and POTUS ANDREW JOHNSON are of a near to equal level of awareness concerning our Constitution. I admit i'm giving one a take on things that has its echoes of the 1715 Riot Act. Poor A.J was 100 blamed for the riot that broke out in New Orleans, even though it was as bad as the riot in NYC after Gettysburg. Hence my C+ on a paper that normally is an A- if you factor in that he was an adult back then who had to be taught in order to read. WHEN THE RADICAL REPUBLICANs take him to task over New Orleans, they don't jump all over HONEST ABE for the chaos. HAD LINCOLN LIVED, had he made the same basic

My point about semi-racist and often very ignorant or bigoted sounding Number 17..... IMOHO were i to grade PRESIDENTIAL RECONSTRUCTION a letter grade for what it did, as if its a FINAL exam essay, knowing what i know of AM HIST 101... then CONGRESSIONAL RECONSTRUCTION might hypothetically be a B- or B+ rather than a totally great and vast improvement. Andrew Johnson did have his managerial skills. So did the U.S Congress.

LUV.... you and Mayor Rudy do have enuff LEGAL EAGLE brain cells between the two of you whereby you can pull off the legal equivalent of a Senate fillibuster for several months, which would let TRUMP hire a third good lawyer, who'd then take over the case and cut the diamond in the rough to a glittering perfection. Trump motormouths. Someone who can motormouth in a legal manner can create a case that is akin to watching paint dry. Add lil factoids into the mix and both Donnie Trump Senior and Wily OLE Mitch will be very happy. Trump plans to POTUS run.
