What the people of Virginia need to hear now is the roar of tens of millions of fellow patriots from across the country letting them know, in no uncertain terms, that they stand behind them. Let's fucking light this candle, and settle this shit once and for fucking all. There's no better place than here and no better time than now.

Ralph Northam said Wednesday localities could face consequences if law enforcement officers don't enforce gun laws. When asked by a reporter if local governments would face retaliation for declaring themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, Northam responded, "There's not going to be retaliation. That's not what I'm about. I'm about making Virginia safer."

I think Matt has a point. But both are important. Strength in numbers locally but must be followed by pressure on the legislature. Can't get complacent.

Uh oh vegans, now what? Living on sunshine? Some plants emit a high frequency distress sound when they are placed under environmental stress, a team of researchers at Tel Aviv University in Israel has found. The team, led by Itzhak Khait, examined the sounds emitted by tomato and tobacco plants when stressed by insufficient water or when their stems are cut. Microphones recorded ultrasonic sounds between 20 and 100 kilohertz emitted by the plants in both cases, the study found. The sounds emitted by the stressed plants are at frequencies unable to be heard by humans, however the team of scientists believes “some organisms” can hear the sounds from up to several meters away. A tomato plant emitted 25 ultrasonic distress sounds in the space of an hour when its stem was cut, according to the study. In contrast, tobacco plants emitted 15 distress sounds when their stems were cut.

UN Speaker Seeks Radical Population Reduction--Especially of Whites A leading United Nations speaker, Oscar-winning Woodstock Director Michael Wadleigh, called for radical reduction of the human population--especially among white people. The reason why it is so important to reduce the population of Europeans and their descendants is because their nations are more developed and they consume more resources. Even Scandinavia and Sweden are destroying the planet, he said, warning that average Swedes consume 40 times more than average Tanzanians. As for the solution: "Don't have children--and I'm looking at you, white man," he told The New American. https://www.thenewamerican.com/tech/environment/item/34313- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n5eGBixBPUI&feature=emb_logo

"But there's no restraints on the intrusion on liberty by the Republicans or the Democrats and no restraints on spending. Conservative Republicans ... there's pretty good studies made that they probably average spending more money than the Democrats do and the foreign policy is not that much worse, it's bad with both sides." - Ron Paul Imagine that.

Hey, xenophobes and closet racists. I have good news and bad news. The good news is Trump's about to make our southern border wall so short and cheap he can build it out of petty cash. The bad news is it'll be built along our border with El Salvador and Belize.

Everybody in Latin America knows what happens to leftist heads of state who challenge the power of the local elites and of the US government. By Alan MacLeod December 12, 2019 President Donald Trump announced that he will designate Mexican drug cartels as “terrorists”, paving the way for a potentially massive increase in American military involvement directly south of its border. “They will be designated,” Trump told ex-Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly during an interview, revealing that he asked the Mexican government for permission to put soldiers on the ground: “let us go in and clean it out,” Trump said, revealing that they have “so far has rejected the offer. But at some point, something has to be done.” Mexico’s left-wing president, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, commonly referred to by his initials, AMLO, hit back Friday, insisting that his country had not been invaded for more than a century and that he would not permit an invasion under his watch, revealing exactly how he understood Trump’s offer.

By Andrew P. Napolitano December 12, 2019 Congress enacted the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act in 1978 in response to the unlawful surveillance of Americans by the FBI and the CIA during the Watergate era. President Richard Nixon — who famously quipped after leaving office that “when the president does it, that means that it is not illegal” — used the FBI and the CIA to spy on his political opponents. The stated reason was national security. Nixon claimed that foreign agents physically present in the U.S. agitated and aggravated his political opponents to produce the great public unrest in America in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and thus diminished Americans’ appetite for fighting the Vietnam War. There was, of course, no evidence to support that view, but the neocons in Congress and the military-industrial complex supported it even after Nixon left office. This view — there are foreigners among us who wish us harm — came to fruition during the presidency of Jimmy Carter, who pushed for the enactment of FISA. FISA’s stated purpose was to limit — not expand — the government’s surveillance powers by requiring the intervention and permission of a judge.

Wednesday December 11, 2019 As usual, when it comes to the warfare/welfare state there is no rancor in Washington. All the pretend acrimony between Republicans and Democrats is thrown out and consensus is magically reached. This week another massive military spending bill was approved by both parties - even as we learn about a trillion dollars being wasted in Afghanistan. The empire chugs along. Watch today's Liberty Report http://ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2019/december/11/forget-impeachment-washington-unites-behind-massive-military-bill/

Yeah... we have a history of that, you know. We lost, and badly. Leftists have been working overtime at tearing down all the reminders of that event. It would be deliciously ironic if actively erasing the history of the last big fight is what emboldened Virginians to fight again.

Pakistani Lawyers Riot Attacks Hospital, Multiple Patients Killed A mob of two hundred lawyers attacked the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) in Lahore, Pakistan, on Wednesday, causing at least 12 deaths, several of them critical care patients whose treatments were interrupted by the riot. The swarm of lawyers was armed with firebombs and a number of handguns. Police cars were set ablaze during their confrontation with riot police, while the hospital suffered damage to windows, doors, and delicate equipment inside. Some of the patient fatalities occurred when doctors and nurses fled to escape the attacking lawyers. Eyewitnesses reported some of the lawyers deliberately ripped oxygen masks and IV tubes off patients as they rampaged through the facility, although those claims are still under investigation.
