It requires a heart which is not too hard to respond to His will to do something like that. It takes a heart which is soft to consider responding to His will something even a child could do, and it takes a hard heart indeed to lash out in rage and call people blind who believe man is capable of it.

Those were important posts, your posts were not really relevant to the discussion and is now at the top of the page, the important posts that people need to see are now at the top of this page so people will actually see them. Bitcoin was built to take out the Fed, which is one of the primary goals of this site. Your opinion is noted, but the real shills on this site are the ones who talk shit on bitcoin. CNN talks shit on bitcoin, they don't want it to succeed. Have fun on team zippy.

You're just condemning yourself. You say this means those who try to obey are condemned because they reach for that which they cannot obtain, while those who do not try to obey are saved because they admit they are incapable and submit to Grace with faith. Yet your path is one of legalities. Do not try to obey your Father because to try is to suppose you might succeed. But in fact, if God wills that if you try you succeed, then if you try you will succeed. Trying is the act of faith, and success is the Grace. Saying I must not try, because I misinterpreted some verse to say that trying to do what I cannot do alone is an arrogant assertion that I can do it without His help, is not an act of faith. That is the act of playing on a legal technicality. That is saying I will not take the leap of faith, I will not try and give God the chance to help me if He chooses, but will rely on a legal loophole, and call that faith. You are once again saying up is down and down is up.

Ya, spending decreased, somebody here posted the figures recently I think it was AF. Regulations have been decreased, effectively, within the economy, the cost to the economy and otherwise, there is no doubt about that.

I do too. But, you know, if that's what he believes, that's what he believes. What I find truly offensive is the way he abuses those who read the Bible, and point out the overwhelming evidence that his view is wrong. Anyone who dismisses the words of my Savior as 'unfathomable code' and berates people for believing them with one breath, then excoriates the same people for not reading the Bible or using his same definition of 'Gospels' with the next, is more interested in offending people than any theology.

No, not you. Sola Fide plays that game all the time. If God wanted His children to behave, He could make us behave, He could even make us incapable of misbehaving. So if He made us capable of misbehaving, obviously He wants us to misbehave, and it's only by His Grace that we can misbehave and be saved too. The Free Will Paradox--God is omnipotent, so we can have no free will--is his stock in trade. I don't know if you've noticed, but Sola is unwilling--and maybe even incapable--of admitting that a being can have a desire to see a certain outcome, and the power to force that certain outcome, yet refuse to use that power for whatever reason. Perhaps that's just a lack of imagination. Perhaps that indicates that, given a modicum of power, he's no more capable of exercising restraint than a ferret is, so he doesn't understand the concept. I don't know. But he will always throw a paradox like that in your face, and abuse you for answering either way if he can. You contradict the Bible all the time, and people rub your nose in it all the time. But you have neither eyes to see nor ears to hear. Is there a service out there which can teach seeing eye dogs to type?

Using paradoxes in an attempt to be humorous is one thing. Using paradoxes to engage in "gotcha theology", however, is a whole other level of sad behavior.

Deficits are up, and inflation is also a tax. Look at the big picture and you'll see that, including the inflation tax and the higher state taxes because states are getting less of our federal taxes back, taxes are up. Are you sure? Because offen--er, I mean defense spending is nearly half of federal expenditures, and that's up. A decrease in the rate of increase is not the same as a cut. This applies to the total number of regulations as surely as it applies to taxes and spending.

Let's try a thought experiment, O studied and rational one. Suppose you had a son. Suppose you could make him a member of a club, and you wanted to make him a member of the club because you love him. But suppose you also know he would make the other members of the club miserable because he's a little a$$hole. Would you make him a member of the club because you want to? Or would you refuse to make him a member of the club for the benefit of the club members? Feel free to refuse to answer. When you refuse to answer a reasonable and thoughtful question which is entirely pertinent to the discussion at hand, it says much more about how indefensible your position is than it says about me. Because we all know you engage with people who are obviously mad at you all the time. It's only the ones who poke the biggest holes in your tripe that you ignore. But, of course, you'd just give your kid a lobotomy, right? He wouldn't be the same kid any more, but at least you'd get your will without ruining the club, right? So, you spend hours a day telling strangers that because their relationship with their Father differs from your relationship with the same Father, they're going to hell. But no one should be irritated by that, and clearly you yourself have no issues at all? That's another interesting thought experiment. Seems, well, unlikely, to be honest. Highly unlikely.

You can't get your head outside the box, so you're trying to shove Pete's thread back inside the box? You tell me, Sola Fide, if you aren't so afraid of me that you have me on ignore. Can God desire something, yet choose not to bring it to pass? Now we find out who Sola Fide is, by observing how he creates God in his own image. Well, Sola Fide? Can God be capable of doing a thing, but choose not to do it? Can He have a power, yet show enough restraint to not exercise it? Or has He got the self-control of a ferret?

Creating God in one's own image is a natural act. But it sure doesn't give God much credit, does it? Especially when Sola Fide does it. If God is all knowing, how can Sola Fide say what He wills? Which is yet another simple question that will never get answered. If it happens to be God's will that those of us who choose Him are saved, and those of us who do not choose Him are not saved, then when is His will frustrated?

He has obviously made up his mind that it's God's will that he be far too stubborn to get a clear view of what God's will really is. Which is fine. More power to him. The odd part is that he spends so many hours on line advertising that fact to a group of people, even though half of them are merely saddened by the fact, and the rest don't even care.

Did I once read that you had children? Excuse me while I go pray for the poor unfortunates... Can a video game designer design a video game with enough variables that the very person who designed the game can start it in motion and play it without knowing exactly how it will come out? I'm not saying God doesn't know how we'll turn out, mind you. What you refuse to allow into your skull at all costs is that you argue this crap incessantly, year in and year out, and insult as many people as you can in the process, is probably all meaningless to God. God creates people capable of choosing Him and people who are not--pots not destined for destruction and pots that are--and in your incomparable single-minded narrowness, you blather that the sole determining factor is whether we give God every last ounce of the credit when we choose Him. Well, dude, the Bible does not make the same emphasis. In fact, the Bible puts the emphasis on honoring God not by giving Him the credit when we do something, but on honoring Him by aiding, comforting and loving one another. But, you know, you've been up De Nile for years and you have always refused us when we offered you a paddle. So, whatever. You can relish the thought that some souls are irrevocably lost, and try to figure out who they are, until your own dying day, and have fun doing it. For those who have truly embraced God, however, that is much to sad a thing to dwell on...

I'm defending him in that what was passed was better than what we had before. That's it. I like things when they are better, than when they are worse. Things have been going in the wrong direction for decades or more. To see things going in the correct direction, for once, is refreshing, and I am grateful. Let's keep it up and not sabotage it all.

Did you even read what you posted? It is better. Maybe not Ron Paul better, but it's indeed better than what Obama passed. Taxes are lower, spending is down and regulations are fewer. We have a more pro-Constitutional Supreme Court. More Constitutional Judges everywhere at the Federal level. That is the DEFINITION of better. Perfect? Far from it. But you might want to lookup what the definition of "better" is in the dictionary..

The idea that people making choices is against the will of God because Sola Fide says God cannot want that is a much bigger contradiction. Sola Fide is small and megalomaniacal. God is not.

He doesn't get that from msm, he gets it from social media. Except that Trump is significantly reducing regulations, reducing taxes, and reducing spending. You can claim that isn't the case all day long in your head, but AF lives it. The economy may be due for a crash, but what Trump is doing isn't the same as raising minimum wage, it is the same direction Ron Paul would be trying to take us if he were President. I'm willing to accept that there is a slightly possibility that this whole thing is a giant conspiracy theory, and all the Trump hate is just for show. But the fact is that doesn't make any sense at all. You should try and see things from the other side, because the media is lying to us everyday and they are lying about Trump. You seem to be the one falling for the media's propaganda.

Interstate highways and freeways are not interchangeable concepts. A freeway can be, and many of them are, completely intrastate, and an interstate can be, and many of them are, turnpikes. And the post office managed to get the mail circulated for about a hundred and eighty years before the Military Industrial Complex shoved through the unnecessary federal power grab which was the Interstate Highway System. State highways were connected into a federal network for decades before Washington figured out a way to talk the public into accepting a federal motor fuels tax. Fact of the matter is, some odd 90% of the mileage the U.S. mail spends on roads is spent on city streets, and back before the U.S.P.S. abandoned the railroads for airplanes, that number was even higher. Post roads are seriously ancient history, and they certainly don't explain the Interstate Highway Boondoggle in any way.
