I would say he's in favor of positive changes coming, as we all are. I doubt he's as optimistic as you but that's speculation, and it really doesn't matter since Massie is doing his part for liberty either way.
I have no doubt Massie would love for Trump to be a two term president who stands for Liberty and repeals Obamacare. That does not mean he believes Trump will do those things, that doesn't make him a liar. If Trump pushes for Single Payer again I expect Massie will come out against him on that too, just like this last bill.
OK, lets consider this.
Done. He's been extra bitchy lately and should take Mrs AF on a cruise anyway. He won't miss us for a week.
Well now, who saw that coming? only option is to make an HB vs Danke poll. I'll get right on that.
No comment. We'd need a secret ballot. No tomahawks in my scalp please.
Deal breaker. But he said "maybe" so not part of the deal anyway.
As far as policy pushed by the Speaker goes you are probably right. But after replacing 2 speakers in 2 years the next one will probably have more respect for the conservative members and let them take more of the votes they want. For example full repeal. Or at least not yank their reelection funding over being conservative.
Yeah, here's the next move.
I'm with you. Actually the reports I saw showed several members of the Freedom Caucus by name were supporting the bill. There were several moderates against the bill. The idea that all the FC stood strong has no evidence from what I've seen. It was a perfect storm that killed it.
I am a Haitian-American Male from Broward County located in South Florida. I was once a registered Democrat, found out about Ron Paul in 2012 but did not vote for him in the primary due to Florida law on primary voting. I voted for Gary Johnson in the general election and from there sparked my interest in politics. I learned about Libertarianism, than Paleoconservatism and then from there classical liberalism. I feel that I am a mix of those three ideologically. I firmly believe in adhering to the principles of the constitution but also keeping our country moving forward with the 21st century.
I will be supporting Rand Paul and the entire libertarian faction of the Republican party as much as I physically can. From being PCO to campaigning in 2016 via my local universityís YAL chapter. I also want to continue to see liberty-minded and constitutional based represenatives in all levels of government in all 50 states.
Iím looking for people from Broward County to beef up liberty based activism in the immediate future. Any level is preferred, the more local, the better. PM me if interested.
