Also from the Tribune article (bold emphasis added): IANAL, but I don't understand this quixotic and doomed attempt to prevent extradition. If I understand correctly, interstate extradition in the US can only be challenged on a few narrow bases (for example, when the charge is not a crime in the state from which extradition is being requested), none of which really apply here. All this business about "self-defense" and "Fourth amendment right" and such are the kind of matters that are supposed to be addressed at trial, or at pre-trial hearings. I suspect the NY Times reporter was just phoning this one in. The Tribune article is longer, more detailed, and doesn't indulge in irrelevant asides such as "In the weeks following his arrest, Mr. Rittenhouse has become a minor hero within the most conservative elements of the Republican Party."

According to the Chicago Tribune, he is already there: Kyle Rittenhouse sent to Wisconsin to face charges in Kenosha protest shootings https://www.chicagotribune.com/news/breaking/ct-kyle-rittenhouse-hearing-20201030-cuzzzn6nsvgmve75ygnhqydvo4-story.html Dan Hinkel (30 October 2020) Lake County authorities on Friday afternoon handed off Kyle Rittenhouse to police in Wisconsin, where he faces charges stemming from the fatal shooting of two men and the wounding of a third during August protests in Kenosha, officials said. Shortly after a judge ruled the Antioch 17-year-old should be extradited, Lake County sheriffís deputies drove him to the border and passed him to deputies from the Kenosha County sheriffís department, said Sgt. Christopher Covelli, of the Lake County sheriffís office.

When one of the Bolshevik mob goes to jail, their brothers in arms show up at hearings and trials and proceedings, inside and out, to provide, if nothing else, but moral support. "We" can't get one single motherfucker to sit in on the hearing and provide some moral support for this poor kid? Not one fucking person? Oh, but of course, the colored Marxists can.

The Aftermath Of My Move Back To Independent Journalism https://greenwald.substack.com/p/the-aftermath-of-my-move-back-to Glenn Greenwald (30 October 2020) Interviews Discussing My Departure, Media Culture, the Need For Trans-Ideological Dialogue, and Intelligence Community Propaganda The last twenty-hours] have been exhilarating. I had no idea what to expect when I decided to leave The Intercept and move my journalism here, but the outpouring of support — both words of encouragement from readers and those subscribing and supporting my work here — has been beyond what I can describe and it is incredibly gratifying and appreciated. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed and reached out. This morning I discussed various aspects of my resignation from The Intercept on the outstanding YouTube program Rising with Krystal Ball and Saagar Enjeti. We discussed more in-depth my rationale for leaving, my response to various criticism and accusations from former colleagues and other assorted journalists, why I speak to both conservative and liberal media outlets, and what this episode reflects about broader media pathologies:

Pretty much this. But I don't think it's so much a socialist movement as it is a totalitarian movement with the (typical) ambition of maximizing its influence, wealth and power. To whatever extent it is socialist, it is only incidentally so (e.g., for purposes of appealing to the "dolphin-kin-entit on the street" - a.k.a. "useful idiots"). As examined previously in this thread, apart from Marxist "conflict theory," the domain of Critical Theory actually has little use for socialism qua socialism (as evidenced by the fact that old-school material Marxists are among its vehement critics). Paradoxically, it is CT's rejection of reason and reality that makes it so potent. It appeals, rather, to things such as emotion, entitlement and ressentiment, which (unlike reason) are much easier to indulge and promote. This is why it has been so effective at sinking its hooks so deeply into academia over the course of the past few decades . CT was tolerated by rational/realist left-liberal academics (who really ought to have known better) by virtue of CT's stances in (supposed) opposition to "racism" and other forms of intersectionalized "oppression" - stances with which otherwise sane left-liberals (who predominantly composed the academy) strongly sympathized, even though they fastidiously wrinkled their noses at the irrationality of it all. Now that it's too late, they are learning that their charitable indulgence was a grave error. I suspect that this success may mark the beginning of the end of the "long march through the institutions" which as a result might now be in the homestretch, as we are now seeing CT (especially in the form of Critical Race Theory) making significant inroads in public and private institutions outside of ivory towers.

Yeah...and when 100 of them show up? I understand scoffing them, as individuals, they are ridiculous, as human beings in the great warp and woof of life, meaningless. Which is why they are so miserable mostly. But in mob form they are deadly...we must start to organize defensively and effectively, now.

Is that even possible?...that is the core of what I am asking, long term. How can an "anti establishment" consensus be "steered" to the concepts of individual freedom, property rights and limited government, when that consensus is rooted in, grown in and fertilized by Maoist Marxism?

  1. I appreciate the question! I put Ted Cruz in my top 3 in the Senate under the criteria "Constitutional Conservative". Do you have something of evidence he is willing to ignore "The War Powers Act of 1973 (Pub.L. 93-148), also referred to as the War Powers Resolution, is a resolution of Congress that stated that the President can send troops into action abroad only by authorization of Congress or if America is already under attack or serious threat." If his rhetoric on Syria has a Neoconservative narrative he should be held in contempt, & Liberty Lovers must hold him accountable! Do you have the entire content of when he made this statement "Ted Cruz advocating going in to destroy chemical weapons in Syria"? If So, Please email it DonVolaric@Comcast.net

So, just out of curiosity, and I don't usually judge people based on their associations, but would you agree with me that Ted Cruz is not a politiican that freedom minded people should be supporting? Why or why not?

Thanks for your answers in advance

About DonVolaric
Biography:
Don Volaric
Born: Detroit, MI
Married: Lynn Volaric
Children: Lily (6.5) Lauren (5) & Brooklyn (8 months)

Biography:
I was born in Detroit, MI and at a young age relocated West with my mother. As an adult I began to miss my family roots in Michigan and moved back home. As a Michigander at heart, I intend to raise my family here and work hard for their continued prosperity, as well as for all the people of the great State of Michigan.

Digital Media Experience:
At age 18, I went to work for one of the largest Print Media / Color Lithography companies in Southern California
At age 25, I was a Production MGR for a digital media company 3rd largest in southern California. I was in charge of over 70 people & 2nd youngest in the facility.
By age 33, I was a Plant MGR (Executive in Charge), overseeing the entire operation with over 3.5 million of my own accounts. The facility was a 17 Million dollar operation. Even with the success I achieved, I still missed the family and friends I rarely spent time with, so I decided to come back home for good.

Finance Experience1999 Ė 2000
After receiving excellent scores in GMAC's employee assessment program, I was recruited for a "fast-track" program in Mortgage and Credit Financing with Jordan Hoover.

Health Insurance Experience:
2001 Ė Present
I worked for a Health Insurance agency approximately 6 months. I started my own agency, Freedom Health Insurance 12/1/2001. By 2004, we were able to serve customers from our new offices on Hall Road, complete with our own signage.

I was voted "Agent of the Year" (Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI) consecutively in 2008 & 2009.
www.FreedomHealthInsurance.net

Political Experience:
In 2010 and 2012, I ran for United States Congress for U.S. House of Representatives for Michiganís 12th and new 9th districts (currently held by Sander Levin). I won both primaries and was the Nominee for the GOP. The past 5 years of running for federal office has been challenging and rewarding at the same time.

My core values represent a Jeffersonian Republican, in 2012 Endorsed by Ron Paul and Republican Liberty Caucus
