Biography:
I was born in Detroit, MI and at a young age relocated West with my mother. As an adult I began to miss my family roots in Michigan and moved back home. As a Michigander at heart, I intend to raise my family here and work hard for their continued prosperity, as well as for all the people of the great State of Michigan.

Digital Media Experience:
At age 18, I went to work for one of the largest Print Media / Color Lithography companies in Southern California
At age 25, I was a Production MGR for a digital media company 3rd largest in southern California. I was in charge of over 70 people & 2nd youngest in the facility.
By age 33, I was a Plant MGR (Executive in Charge), overseeing the entire operation with over 3.5 million of my own accounts. The facility was a 17 Million dollar operation. Even with the success I achieved, I still missed the family and friends I rarely spent time with, so I decided to come back home for good.

Finance Experience1999 – 2000
After receiving excellent scores in GMAC's employee assessment program, I was recruited for a "fast-track" program in Mortgage and Credit Financing with Jordan Hoover.

Health Insurance Experience:
2001 – Present
I worked for a Health Insurance agency approximately 6 months. I started my own agency, Freedom Health Insurance 12/1/2001. By 2004, we were able to serve customers from our new offices on Hall Road, complete with our own signage.

I was voted "Agent of the Year" (Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI) consecutively in 2008 & 2009.

Political Experience:
In 2010 and 2012, I ran for United States Congress for U.S. House of Representatives for Michigan’s 12th and new 9th districts (currently held by Sander Levin). I won both primaries and was the Nominee for the GOP. The past 5 years of running for federal office has been challenging and rewarding at the same time.

My core values represent a Jeffersonian Republican, in 2012 Endorsed by Ron Paul and Republican Liberty Caucus
