Lesson here may be, don't mess with alpha MAGA leader. NYC is Trump's home town where he has strong roots and decades old political, business, social connections. NRA will have to think twice before intimdating memebrs of Trump's party in future if it is still around by end of his first term in office.

Naa, Trump is a 'king of debt' and pro big deficit/big gummit spending/pro socialism and RP is opposite of that : Rand Paul: Republicans should apologize to Obama for complaining about spending "They might lose this election because they are acting like Democrats now. I am very upset with my colleagues. They went 8 years. They should apologize now to President Obama for complaining he was spending and borrowing too much. He was a piker compared to their borrowing and what they're doing now."

That will open pandora box and could potentially risk stability of democratic / justice system processes. Does anyone really want that? And early reporting is not allways accurate/complete, lets' wait till investigations are completed and all the facts are out.

Reading negative comments about NYC, NYC mayor in the face of current tragic death toll there... it's incredible how things have changed from few years ago when whole Amerca stood with NYC and NYC mayor was a national hero after death toll from 9/11 tragedy. This mayor (DiBlasio) is doing checkpoints, that mayor (Giuliani) was supporting invading of a foreign country.

That does help explain the situation. LOL I wasn't sure if you were serious, just releasing some steam or you have never been one of the small gummit/spending within means school of thought that almost all libertarians are known to be. But seems like it's the latter. Deficits/debt spending comments were directed at so called GOP "conservatives" or shall we say CINOs/RINOs who stand with current GOP progressive socialist wing and held raging protests against debt spending during Obama years. You have oft written critical comemnts about police state and dimisnishing liberties and assumed you were aware that those are part and parcel of big gummit.

There is someone in DC who sees the glaring hypocrisy of current GOP (or rather GOP-Progressive Socialist wing): Aug 5, 2020 Rand Paul: Republicans should apologize to Obama for complaining about spending Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) tore into his fellow Republicans on Fox News Wednesday for considering a coronavirus relief package that could cost more than $1 trillion, calling on them to apologize to President Obama "for complaining that he was spending and borrowing too much" during his time in office. Why it matters: Paul's comments, while tongue-in-cheek, underscore the divisions within the Senate Republican conference, where as many as 20 GOP senators are likely to vote against any coronavirus relief bill — even if a deal is reached between Democrats and Trump administration.

Tad bit surprising, saw Drudge headline yesterday that Tlaib had been trying to be a 'rockstar' instead of focussing on issues of her constituents. Not sure if accurate or fakenews but in recent past she appeared to punch above her weight at times and bit too ambitious politically launching very harsh attacks on top leader of GOP-Adelson wing using disrespectful language: On a related note, democrats Cori Bush's and Tlaib's wins today appear to be a setback for Israel lobby/AIPAC wing of Dems and a boost for more radical pro BDS wing of Dems.

In NBC news this is being reported as historic event and Cori Bush will be the first African-American Woman Rep. from MO. Apparently she is a homeless person turned BLM social justice leader, so she very likey going to be way more radical socialist than current GOP-Progressive Socialist wing. Could change once she gets taste of power, time will tell. On a related note, democrats CB's and Tlaib's wins today appear to be a setback for Israel lobby/AIPAC wing of Dems and a boost for more radical pro BDS wing of Dems. Defeat of permanent fixture/professional politician who lost in MO might be a win for anti-war factions too.

I dunno, may be POTUS was bit tired or not properly prepared by his advisors for this interview. Getting interviewed by Foxnews hosts like Hannity avoids risks of such gotcha questions. The smug snarky look on the face of interviewer was also tad bit direspectful. Bit surprised advisors let this interview happen so close to 2020 election.

Powerful move in a series of proactive steps by Trump administration in recent days to get ready for future well-funded projects to again save millions of lives: Johnson & Johnson Signs $1 Billion U.S. Government Deal for Vaccine By Josh Nathan-Kazis Updated Aug. 5, 2020 Johnson & Johnson has joined the growing list of companies with billion-dollar agreements to sell Covid-19 vaccines to the U.S. government. The company said Wednesday morning it has a deal valued at “over $1 billion” to supply 100 million doses of its experimental Covid-19 vaccine to the U.S., if the product receives approval or emergency-use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration. The news comes days after the European drugmakers Sanofi (ticker: SNY) and GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) announced their own $2.1 billion agreement to supply 100 million doses of their Covid-19 vaccine to the U.S. government, and two weeks after Pfizer (PFE) and BioNTech (BNTX) announced a similar $1.95 billion deal.

Perhaps they can learn from Trump's way of supporting diversity, better than above cited handouts method: Historic MAGA landmark: Trump nominates America's first African-American Air Force chief Gen. Charles Brown, commander of Pacific Air Forces and President Trump's nominee to be the next Air Force chief of staff, said in a video released Friday that he navigates "two worlds" as an African American and that he's "thinking about how I can make improvements" institutionally. "As the commander of Pacific Air Forces, a senior leader in our Air Force, and an African American, many of you may be wondering what I'm thinking about the current events surrounding the tragic death of George Floyd," Brown said. The general said he has been thinking about living in "two worlds, each with their own perspective and views." ADVERTISEMENT

There was no mention of GOPA, foreign firster lobbies (non-parasitic wing) role in buying US politicians to corrupt democracy, cutting all foreign aid, deep neocons , Syria war pusher Andrew Adler of Atlanta etc but still some off topic emotional outbursts. Not clear why a civil rights discussion is triggering few emptional responses in what should be a positive thread that negates uncontrolled fakenews media's 'Trump is racist' narrative that seems to be reaching new levels of absurdity. Trmp On The Issues Page doesn't list details but in quick lookup their reporting seems to check out: Calling Palm Beach, “a tough town,” Trump hailed himself as a civil rights icon on that gilded isle. “No discrimination against African-Americans, against Muslims, against anybody ...” he said. “And I have been given great credit for what I did.”

Granted there were few 2016 election season Steve Bannon era tactical gimmicks by MAGA campaign that accidentally may have energized some wrong kind of groups but that effect has been long washed out with post election social liberal initiatives on social justice, prison reform, minorities outreach, diversity is our strength/ GOYA foods promotion, DACA messaging by entire top leadership White House ( POTUS, FLOTUS, FDOTUS Ivanka/First Son-in-law Jared Kushner who are closely collborating with BLM/Civil Rights leaders). https://www.app.com/picture-gallery/news/2020/07/27/trump-tosses-maga-hats-nj-crowd/5516207002/ via @asburyparkpress"] President Donald Trump tosses MAGA hats to supporters in Bedminster, N.J., Sunday, July 26, 2020.

I'm clueless on this now as I'm still trying to reconcile old belief "budget defcits/big gummit spending/growng debt/spending beyond means is bad" with new "debt no longer matters" paradigm. Going to have to defer to someone from Tea Party fiscal gurus to explain why debt was so bad during Obama years but now no longer matters. One possible explanation could be Obama did not know how to type up tweets that pressure/intimidate/goad Fed Reserve into patriotic debt buying actions.. sheer speculation.

Is anything inaccurate? If anything not factual, correct it. There can be room for emotional comments (considering some POTUS stances on social justice/BLM/DACA/DOMA/USMCA/national debt/progressive socialism etc being controversial for some who identify as Conservative Republicans) as long as there is something related to the subject too. GOP social conservatives rising star Don Jr had offered enlightening commentary on discussing controversial topics in a calm, logical manner in his powerful book "Triggered".

Fitch Ratings revised its outlook on the country’s credit score to negative from stable, citing a “deterioration in the U.S. public finances and the absence of a credible fiscal consolidation plan.”

Evangelical pastor John Hagee, the leader of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), the US’ largest pro-Israel organization and the most powerful group in the Christian Zionist movement, has adamantly insisted that Christian Zionism is anti-Semitic.
