Not just police members across US cities, other US military force branches' members have also started to take the knee in the aftermath of violent protests over an unjustified killing. Sanctity of life and arc of justice are important and all but where is this heading.. would US military members start taking the knee to calm protesters over any civilians of other races killed in places like Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Saudi, Syria, Somalia next? If such slippery slope practices spread, taxpayers may have to pay for millions of knee pads as there were reportedly over 400,000 civilians killed just during botched Iraqi Freedom Operation (that allegedly was motivated by racism/anti-semitism, oil loot greed, revenge, NYT promoted lies, distorted zionism etc). Can't even imagine what kind of knee gestures by planners/promoters of such bloody operations would be deemed adequate to feel whole again. Title of this thread just 3 years after launch of well-funded "Make America Great Again" movement seems tad bit pessimistic.. unless it was meant to be sarcasm. Granted many of MAGA supporters are same folks who had supported Bush-Cheney's political philosophies for almost a decade, it seems to bit too early to write off MAGA phenomenon.

Hopefully this won't end up like well funded wars in Afghanistan and Iraq and won't go on forever: The House impeachment inquiry loses another round — and yes, that's still going on By Andrew C. McCarthy 05/22/20 At the urging of the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Supreme Court has granted a stay, at least temporarily blocking disclosure to the House Judiciary Committee of grand jury materials from the Mueller probe. The committee, chaired by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), represented to the justices that these materials — transcripts of testimony and other evidence — are vital to its continuing inquiry into whether President Trump should be impeached.

Vaguely recall some media reports about 5 dancing mideasterners with a van, don't recall all details. More recently GOP-Adelson leader was also involved in some claims but will need to look up details. But why would you think these cops taking a knee were paid? This is happening across America. Perhaps having a pro-social justice/pro diversity Republican President allied with Black Lives Matter acivists in the White House helped set the tone for such gestures. Capitol Police kneel before protesters in DC and demonstrators march past Chicago mayor's house as George Floyd protests continue nationwide In Washington DC, some Capitol Police in charge of protecting Congress took a knee as protesters shouted slogans, similar to other scenes that have played out across the nation (left). While many view the gesture as an act of solidarity with peaceful protests, as police join in condemning Floyd's in-custody death, others have criticized cops who participate as bowing down before protesters. President Donald Trump waded into the debate on Wednesday morning for the first time, retweeting a message said New York City police were being forced to 'bend a knee to terrorists.' In Chicago, marchers passed through the Logan Square neighborhood past Mayor Lori Lightfoot's house urging residents to 'wake up' to their protest against racial injustice and police brutality (top right). In Los Angeles, protesters gathered in Hollywood on Wednesday to voice their discontent (bottom right).

Don't know a lot about him but it is common knowledge that he was major donor of Obama. There have also been speculation about him being close with current First Son-in-law and having more money than top Trump donor Hon. Sheldon Adelson but have not validated such claims.

To be fair, his summit with Mrs Kanye West, reknowned Black Lives matter activist Kim Kardashian, was quite successful by all accounts. Trump won praise even from liberal media for working out some social justice issues then.

Not only that, he wanted to put very harsh sanctions on Iran to please our closest allies in mideast. As soon as Trump found out about that, he was let go and non-interventionist, pro-peace folks were brought in to be surrounded-with. Anyone can make a blunder but a genius corrects mistakes quickly. He had also said some very shocking things about our closest ally in mideast and homeland of one of Trump's richest top donors: July 25, 2013

On review of additional details, it gets bit confusing. Granted MAGA's top donors are PI community figures, could it be he was not Jeff-Sessioned/Steve-Bannoned/Roy-Moored by Trump team despite their pro-diversity messaging tilt for 2020 elections? The real reason Steve King lost Wed June 3, 2020 So, what changed? In early 2019, following his questioning of when "white nationalist" and "white supremacist" became "offensive," King was stripped of all committee assignments by Republican leaders who recognized that his presence had become a giant anchor around their necks, politically speaking. What that meant for King was that he, well, just didn't have that much to do in Congress -- and, more importantly -- had zero influence either within his party or among the broader Congress.

Now that social justice unrest is starting to slow down, invisible enemy aka covid-19 related reports are starting to resurface in media headlines. Amazon Workers Sue Over Virus Brought Home from Warehouse Josh Eidelson and Spencer Soper BloombergJune 3, 2020 (Bloomberg) -- A group of Amazon.com Inc. warehouse employees sued the online retail giant, claiming its working conditions put not only them at risk of contracting the coronavirus but also their family members, including one who died. Barbara Chandler, one of three workers who filed a lawsuit Wednesday in New York, claims she contracted the virus in March at Amazon’s Staten Island distribution center, where employees “were explicitly or implicitly encouraged to continue attending work and prevented from adequately washing their hands or sanitizing their workstations.” Within a month, Chandler’s cousin, whom she lived with, died after experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, the lawsuit says. The suggestion that working conditions at the facility contributed to a specific third-party death distinguishes Wednesday’s lawsuit from other coronavirus-related complaints filed against Amazon in recent months.

Although things are changing, statistically even today a disproportional number victims of excessive force are going to be people of color. If Miriam Carey were White, she'll probably be alive today. That said, for many in media and political establishment focussing solely on 'race' factor (that is an important and legitimate factor in many such cases) seems to be far more profitable for their goals than highlighting use of excessive force/police brutality as an issue in itself. Once our forces go 'soft' in managaing peace at home and musclular culture gets reprogrammed in a 'sensitivity is our strength' european type model, where do we draw the line? Even the phrase 'proportional use of force' is seen as almost an insult by many alpha wannabe (probably with some deep insecurities) folks. There has also been significant overlap in domestic/overseas peace management forces and training methods and two cultures tend to be intertwined. Globalist neoconservatives funded Dems as well as GOP (both GOP calssic and current Dems funded GOPA wing) will oppose 'softy' image of our forces with so much at stake. Being 'policeman of the world' comes with a certain price.

3rd party candidates at this point are getting almost no coverage in media but media owners could shift approach if they lost confidence in both globalist leaders funded politicians. Jared could play a much bigger role in future especially if Ivanka Trump 2024/2028 gained steam and GOP base insisted on continuing Trump legacy. That said, have to say that currently final decider has got to be POTUS even if one concedes that the first jewish First Son-in-law could be playing a key role in various domestic/foreign policies after exit of Steve Bannon that may have led to this claim from a foxnews host. From where do you get the idea that NYT is liberal? NYT was on forefront of pushing lies/fake yellow cake stories to push American public (gullible wing) into Iraqi freeddom war blunder that is still exacting costs that will go way beyond Obama-Trump revolts. Same for Syria and other interventions. Neocon is far more accurate term for these Netanyahu-Democrats types (in sharp contrast to more alpha-modeled GOPA wing leadership that seems to establishing itself as Likud-Republicans).

Another dilemma off the table. Way things are going, many more dilemmas could be gone in time ahead. How many other House Republicans could be pursuing similar impossible goals along the lines of "Make Canada Safe Again" and "Keep Palestinians Occupied"? Dilemma background Will the pro-Israel community separate itself from Rep. Steve King?
