Why stop with international money transfers? RealID and biometrics for all transactions; it's the only way we'll be safe!

Homily from last week- @fisharmor This week, some notes from the homily: -bickering over opinions should be avoided -look for things to fight for instead of about -actively try to serve/love someone daily No major mistakes during chant this week, but my solos weren't nearly as good as I would like them to be. :( I've found that when I assume the role of choral bass section leader during liturgy, my section sounds a lot better-so I'm going to be doing that from now on. Good thing I always remember my reading glasses nowadays-the sheet music at the chanter stand and at the director's stand in the loft is ridiculously tiny. :P #kurwa Gospel: Luke 1:1-25, 57-68,76,80 Epistle: Romans 13:11-14:4

No. Like everything else individuals would find a way around it. We all want to reduce the amount of foreign aid. Make it profitable for other countries to discourage illegal entry. $1 million per head for those that allow their citizens to cross their borders. No negotiation.

Why send them back to the country of origin. Just drop them in a southern desert by helicopter. Give 'em two gallons of water. Word will spread. In the meantime tell Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, etc. that we will subtract $1 million in foreign aid from every individual caught trespassing from their country.

And so are you and Swordsmythe. And this site, for the most part. If the Powers that Be can't censor it, they'll spam it. Right, Zippy?

Aks for ask has been around literally as long as English has existed. I've even seen one source claim that aks was originally the correct version and was supplanted by ask, though not all sources agree.

Axe has been used as a verb for a long time. And if an office girl started using it as a noun, I think I'd be a bit nervous--unless the office was a lumberjack supply company. Which reminds me. If I were to respond to, 'He axed me last night,' with, 'Well you sure heal fast,' is that racist?

Well, that's certainly a statement. But it is not a response to what I said, so I don't know why you quoted my post before you typed that depressing appeasement blather. All you're really doing here is proving what I said before. Moving more slowly in the wrong direction, and pretending to ourselves it's the "right direction", and patting ourselves on the back for falling for the oldest trick in the book, is how generations of conservatives have delivered us into this hell. But I've said that a million times and you've never directly addressed it, so naturally you're about to dissemble yet again.

You sure like to blather about practical realities. The practical reality is, the more the Church of the Lesser Evil engages in its Emergency Appeasement, the less of a chance "Anyone Better" ever gets. That's the thing you don't get, and that's why you get called everything from politically immature to hopelessly stupid.

Trump has been playing footsie with the "Demonic Left" since before either of us was born. And he has gotten his thirty pieces of silver millions of times over.

First, verbs and nouns are generally interchangeable in English and that has been a feature of our language for a long time. Second, I'm not sure whether you object to the noun or verb form of "impact," but both are attested from before the DoI.

You were an Appeaser when you got here, and you haven't changed a bit. This site used to be the Heart of the Resistance, and now it's just the Marshal Petain Appreciation Site. Keep cucksucking your Lesser Evil Dick. That sort of "conservatism" got us in this mess, and you will choke on that cock in the end. That's a Trump Fact you can take to the Gold Exchange.

And that word is Appeaser. Sure, it doesn't sound like much to modern American ears. But those who were in France 75 years ago understand what a Vichy piece of dirt you are.

He isn't doing any good at all. The only reason you say he is would be Hillary Clinton. You're just like those bureaucrats who claim that their department's budget is cut because it was going to spend a lot more than last year, but now it's only going to spend a little more than last year. The "projected budget increase" got cut, and they call it a budget cut. That's Trump. He ain't doing shit. Maybe Clinton would have been worse. But that doesn't make Trump good. He's still bad. Very bad. Someone is fooling himself, all right. And someone is fooling herself. The Art of the Deal. He's screwing us all. But you two are happy because he kissed us first.

The fallacy is, I made a point--that your mental gymnastics mean nothing--and you try to deflect from that point by seizing on another part of the sentence and talking about that. The fallacy is, I made a point--that the meme in question clearly does not say what you claim it does--and you try to deflect from that point by seizing on another part of the sentence and talking about that. Oh? You only spend seventy-five hours a week here trying to convince people the GOP is meeting the needs of conservatives for representation?

Yup. Specifically, he says a lot of stuff abut draining the swamp, and then he swims around snapping his alligator jaws onto whatever bit of meat he can. The question is, is it Zippy who's getting fooled, or you?

Hey, just FWIW, if you ever get into prose poetry/epic poetry (ala Pushkin), you would probably enjoy the books and software by Randy Ingermason. His stuff is geared toward novelists, but it's useful for complicated poetry as well, IMO. ~hugs~ Try self-publishing your stuff on Amazon, etc, btw. It's more lucrative than Big Publishing nowadays, IMO. "Writing Fiction For Dummies" is pretty much a must-have too. Not only does it cover the craft, it gets into the business of selling a book, publishing, etc. (again, geared toward novelists, but good for everyone) ttyl. ~hugs~
