But Trump-flavored totalitarianism will clearly be less unpleasant than Biden-flavored totalitarianism is.

I never thought that. Policy-wise, he's totally untenable. We weren't talking about business as usual listen to the platforms and try to guess which will do fewer dumb things election year thinking. We were talking monkey wrenches. If he's half what he appears to be he will be too busy trying to oust the swamp gators before they kill him. Literally. Monkey wrench, dude. Does that D.C. Machine need a monkey wrench in it or not? I'm sick of business as usual thinking. Business as usual is very obviously a thing of the past. If we need a revolution, we had better have it now. And we won't without a spark. They have a plan for us. A dastardly plan, a conspiracy. You can't be naive enough to think otherwise. He Who Must Not Be Named II obviously isn't that plan. So, us rallying around him isn't their plan. That means he just might be the spark we need to blow up their 3D chess endgame. Policy. He won't enact any policy. They will fight his every attempt to enact any policy, tooth and nail. The only two questions I have at this point are, does he have enough name recognition to overcome the fact that his political party (if any) has no name recognition at all? And can we count on him to be a solid monkey wrench in their machine?

It's implausible at 50/50. Get real. After what we've seen we tend to overestimate the amount of pure bull the American public will swallow. We had to watch the American public lap up one hell of a lot of pure mendacity to believe it. And they have certainly seen the same thing. I can't imagine how often the powers that be and their minions have said, "They bought that!?!" They're trying to get The Right -- you know, the people with the guns -- to beg for totalitarianism. They stole the election from him and they jailed and are jailing people who complained about it. If The Right is going to be stirred off their asses at all, much less demand that they be allowed to burn the Constitution they think they revere, the Second Steal must be beyond obvious. They have to rub our noses in the doggie doo to prevent people from being able to go into denial about it. So, the Clown Biden Administration must do literally everything wrong, very wrong, and in a big way. He must alienate all the independent voters and many Democrats. And they're doing it. They're working at it and they're doing it. Hell, I've met certifiably insane people who can't stand no more. Biden's not really even in the ballpark.

It isn't confusion. It's projection. He's projecting Kennedy's actions on Trump and Trump's record on Kennedy. It's also called "gaslighting", at least when someone good at it does it. This doesn't rise to that level, though.

He's not. That's just his favorite little bit of humorous irony; he's questioning whether it's really "democracy" when only state-approved candidates ever get any exposure or major party nominations.

And the PATRIOT Act had nothing to do with it? Every single one of our problems are due to free trade advocates giving corporations cover to implement global managed trade? All of them? Hyperbole. Is that all you have to say about the demonstrable existing proof that internal customs hurt domestic producers?

Fearmongering over apples? Is this a paid commercial program about why we can't live without the FDA? By the way, the internal customs stations you were having fascist wet dreams about are a reality, when it comes to food. And guess what "favor" Big Daddy Government is doing to us with that crap... An outcome easily predicted by anyone who doesn't have a power fetish, and does have a lick of sense.

Many of them share a tribal identity in common, one that very coincidentally isn't white. But no, their tribe can never be the oppressor in their oppressor/victim model - that is pure hate to even so as suggest such a thing.

That's all true. This isn't about fighting in a war though. We're talking about kids who want something to perform about, and be angry about. If only some of that emotion can be channeled into fighting for the freedom that allows these kind of displays, it can be a part of their foundation. Just like the intersectionality and anti-white stuff is part of these younger gen's foundations and they are then taking it into things like promoting DEI. A lot of these trends start from learned values in college years. And these are the exact kids who can eventually be shaping society. I'm a bit more of a hippie libertarian than the average RPFer but I used to like the ACLU. Now look where it's gone. The freedom spirit is gone from it. You can make fun of TikTok and everything but we are in a messaging war and that's how it's won. The statists must be rightly framed and perceived as those seeking to oppress and censor the SJWs. I actually see the potential for a rebirth of at least some spark of liberty value in some of the left, that hasn't been there since GWB/War on Terror/Iraq. Clearly it's not reliable but few things are and I'll take those years versus the complete complicity and submission that came during the First Black President years.

On April 12, 2024, Judge Andrew Napolitano wrote an article entitled “The CIA Wants More Power To Spy on Americans”. In the article, Judge Napolitano talks about the fascinating history of the CIA spying on Americans. Tucked away near the end of the article, he makes a curious statement: On April 19, 2024, appearing on episode #2138 of the Joe Rogan Experience, Tucker Carlson mentioned that U.S. lawmakers “told” him that they are “worried” about being punished by intelligence agencies if they oppose reauthorizing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). At issue is the reauthorizing of Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA). The House of Representatives shot down the bill 119–228 on April 10, 2024. These very same people passed the bill a few days later 273 -147.

A unanimous verdict stands. Otherwise it's a mistrial, and up to the prosecutor whether they try again. So, no, an entire jury doesn't have to agree to nullify to very possibly do a little jury nullification.

You are just conceding defeat. It's not easy and a majority is always preferable but an "irate, tireless minority" itself isn't useless, unless your only goal is to complain on the Internet.

The most important thing about this story is that the whole younger generation is being immunized to Zionist Jews' self-victimization as a way of letting them control discourse. Don't let the "right-wing" Israel-first fool you because they found a few crazies. They want to paint this as some kind of Jew-hating party akin to Black Lives Matter looting parties. These protests are nothing like that. As AF pointed out, yes there's a lot of Marxists basically just taking the ideology full circle. Some day these kids will grow up though, at least most of them. It's hard to unsee the reality that you see. What we need to do is take advantage of this energy and show them why freedom is better than Marxism. They want answers. Ron Paul saw the value of coalitions with far-leftists on certain issues. Take away Tik Tok, spy on the Internet, try to ban protests and turn "hate speech" against them. The Marxist tools of control are being used against them. The situation is ripe to make the case that these powers should not be in anyone's hands.

And why is that? Never mind 2020. How did all the previous 121 federal elections fail to stop it? No federal law, no Constitution, can save a people when 81% of them disapprove of what Congress is doing, but 81% of members of Congress get reelected. I heard a lot of lovely promises in 2016, both from Trump and his supporters. He kept precious few, and none of the really important ones. But which of his 2016 voters is doing anything but making excuses for his ineptitude?

Biden has been abusing power for decades and decades. He did not, however, invent that. Trump could and should have foreseen such a possibility. He didn't. His voters got fooled because they're fools. It's also worth mentioning that very few of those protestors were arrested by Biden's DOJ. They were arrested by Trump's DOJ. If the system was broken at the end of his term, it's only because nobody in a position to do so bothered to fix it.

We've seen the government give weapons to both sides of so many civil wars that I've been wondering, hey, you started a civil war with your own people. When do you start giving weapons to us? I guess a little more wall to keep us on the tax plantation is the best we can expect...

I've never seen him say that. I've seen him engage the hypothetical, and decide no property owner should be forced to endure it. Which was simply an exploration of principles. Principles are good. If the average schmo had any, we wouldn't be in this mess. Are you really so hungry to blame someone else for the fact that being willing to concede our principles for political expediency has landed us in a dumpster fire that you'll pick on the person who stands by those principles as if he was part of the group that suckered you? Talk about shooting the messenger. And now the fact that your politicians failed you miserably has you putting words in Mr. Drake's mouth that he did not say. He did not say, do nothing . In fact, you accused him of that and he denied it. What he did say was, preach the gospel. And what PAF is preaching has basis in the gospel -- trust God, not men. I keep thinking of the people (some if whom I know) who are still not mad at the government for lying to them and trying to kill them, but are mad as hell at the person who told them the truth about where their medical problems came from. I wonder what brought them to mind?

Hey, just FWIW, if you ever get into prose poetry/epic poetry (ala Pushkin), you would probably enjoy the books and software by Randy Ingermason. His stuff is geared toward novelists, but it's useful for complicated poetry as well, IMO. ~hugs~ Try self-publishing your stuff on Amazon, etc, btw. It's more lucrative than Big Publishing nowadays, IMO. "Writing Fiction For Dummies" is pretty much a must-have too. Not only does it cover the craft, it gets into the business of selling a book, publishing, etc. (again, geared toward novelists, but good for everyone) ttyl. ~hugs~
