As noted here... I was interested in any questions site members would have for Rand Paul as I was going to be able to ask him a question or two. At this point, the mission has been accomplished. I appreciated all of the questions, it certainly would have been great to get to ask a lot but I was more than pleased with the outcome. Here's the run-down... Good question, I couldn't quite get this question in but he did talk some about the SCOTUS and the general take is to do it right.

Trump's proper response should be: "the government should have nothing to do with interest rates, and the Fed shouldn't even exist"

A breakdown of the Axiom's involved in the issue... Moral Issues Axiom 1: Having a monopoly does not mean that you have done anything morally wrong, all of your property and clients can be justly acquired. Axiom 2: Antitrust laws only have value when they are back by forcing others to comply, such as with breaking up a monopoly by taking control over resources. Axiom 3: It is immoral to apply force against others when they have not done anything wrong.

For the sake of argument, let's say you statement is correct, that the economy did boom when there was a top tax rate of 91%. Question- does that make it right? Did the people being taxed 91% agree to this? One can presume they didn't, so what is the justification for this tax? Does the benefit to the whole ("the economy") make it morally and ethically acceptable to tax someone at 91%? What about 92%? Or 93%, 94%, ... 99%? Why not just take it all if it makes the economy boom? Why not, since that is the objective here. So let's say that the people being taxed 91% didn't agree to this, but were fine paying for services they utilized such that they helped pay for the roads they use, they pay for local fire and police protection, patent filling fees, court costs and such. Let's say this voluntary exchange doesn't come close to 91%, should the rest still be taken? Can you explain how it makes it right for a group of people to lay claim to the wages and earnings of someone else in this case? Remember, the government is nothing more than a group of people.

"America has the highest gun violence in the world" (reference to murder rate) Murder is a terrible thing and certainly no one wants to see one of their loved ones murdered. To directly answer your question, I don't know anyone who is delusion on the dangers of guns, guns are designed to hurt/kill, so they are inherently dangerous. Most people know this.

Just saw your message asking if anyone would be willing to be an unbound delegate. I wish I could volunteer for this, but I see the deadline has passed. Unfortunately, back in April when you posted the message, I wasn't that active in the Ron Paul revolution. Tonight I got his campaign update email indicating that he will probably have just over 20% of the delegates, which "is not enough to win the nomination." I was really hoping Ron Paul would win somehow. I'm so disappointed tonight.

Anybody experienced at writing business plans for funding?

I PM'd you back when you brought this up in S&T. Never heard back.

I see you are 30 min out from Raleigh and probably a bit further for Durham, because of the roads.
Consider consulting. I see Aerotek has an office in Raleigh and they have always been good to me. Try them.
If you have previously held good level clearances, there are a handful of consulting firms that specialize in this type

US issues worldwide travel alert due to al Qaeda threat (satire)

by tangent4ronpaul on 08-03-2013 at 04:30 AM

It has just been learned that the worldwide travel warning and embassy shutdown was triggered by actionable intelligence that AQ had acquired and distributed to their loyal followers and supporters, the following:

1 Million cases of re-fried beans.
1 Million cases of really cheap beer.
2 Million bic lighters.

In addition, it has been learned that the TSA has been tracking hundreds of thousands

Congressional Insider Trading - Grassroots project to clean out Congressional corruption.

[QUOTE=tangent4ronpaul;3742838]CBS just gave us a gift with it's report on the show 60 Minutes last night. It's the number 1 story on Google news and spreading like wildfire. This is going to piss people off as much as CEO salaries. We need to gather some "value added" info, and post in comments sections of these articles as well as write letters to the editor, etc. What's most important is that we keep it local and relevant to YOUR congress critters!

Here is the transcript

[QUOTE=tangent4ronpaul;3492538]The Ron Paul Grassroots ain't got nothin' on the Lemonista's!

Yes, fellow r3volutionaries, we just got our collectives tails handed to us by a bunch of kneebiters - at least as far as media coverage goes. I dare say we just might have raised a bit more than they did, however.

This event was an incredible success - bug awareness raiser as to over-regulation and enforcement,
