Join a Freedom Cell or start one. https://lbry.tv/@VoxPopuli:b/Freedom-Cells---Underground-Railroad:a https://freedomcells.org/ Becoming more self reliant and networking together with other self reliant people doesn't require indulging secessionist fantasy circle jerking. If it comes it comes. If it doesn't it doesn't. But your self reliant community still remains. Agorism is really the only way forward.

No. Latin American is NOT where COVID-19 is surging nor is it where the worst COVID-19 lockdowns are.that would be the United States and Europe. Mostly Europe. An agorist ex-pat who's living in Mexico said that most of the pressure in Mexico for businesses to be locked down is coming from American tourists and ex-pats who think Mexico should be more like the U.S. in that regard. See: https://open.lbry.com/@VoxPopuli:b/Freedom-Cells---Underground-Railroad:a At 1:06:00 Haiti also has a much lower COVID-19 rate and lacks even the capacity to mask everyone. Really the "shythole" countries (Trumps alleged words) aren't the problem. It's the European countries where Greta Thunberg hails from that's the issue.

These people are not "liberals". These people are Marxist revolutionaries, trained and indoctrinated in the ways of never ending Marxist revolution by Frankfurt School disciples in universities across the land. Their particular "flavor" of Marxism is a curious and lethal combination of Maoism and French Jacobinism. Their goal is the utter and complete destruction of Western civilization, along with the genocide of anybody, especially white Europeans, that dare to practice it.

I agree and disagree at the same time. There can be no reconciliation or education of roughly half the electorate that has made it clear over the last few years that they want me dead. That states clearly they want technocratic Marxist tyranny. That hate liberty and freedom and will kill you if you attempt to secure it. Retribution lists and open talk of forced political re-education facilities (camps) is a "you've crossed the line forever" deal breaker AFAIC. Anybody that, even in passing, considers that to be a solution to anything is a dangerous enemy to never be trusted and to be utterly crushed as soon as possible. Whatever is necessary...can't agree more with that...and what is needed now is steel resolve and zero capitulation. Separation is survival, not unity with Marxist bolsheviks and Jacobin terrorists.

Short answer? It wouldn't. Longer answer? You have more in common with rural Georgia even though the state went blue than you Austin Texas even though that state stayed red and Alex Jones lives there. Then you have the fact that many, if not most, of the people in the "red" suburbs are very much dependent on the cities for jobs, airports etc. If the state of Texas came up for a secession referendum tomorrow I guarantee it would fail with or without vote harvesting and Dominion voting machines. And....the GOP kept the Senate. Yeah, Mitch sucks. But he's good at not doing anything. Which means the Biden/Harris administration is limited in just how crazy they can go. Mandatory vaccines? Trump, the guy some folks here are trying so desperately to make win, set the stage for mandatory vaccines with "Operation Warp Speed" where he, Trump, said in the debates would be "deployed by the military." And it won't need to be "mandatory" anyway. You just won't be able to get on a plane, register for school, buy concert and sporting tickets, have a security clearance, join the military, without them. This will all be rolled out in phases. And "Joe Suburb" will go right along with it to "get back to normal." So let's say Jim Bob Rural and his buddies succeed and seceded. Then what? In Jim Bob going to build an international airport hub? Oh you say Jim Bob can just fly small private planes from small regional airports? Guess what? Jim Bob can do that right now without secession. And he can do it without those pesky naked body scanners. You say Jim Bob can homeschool? Yeah...everybody is homeschooling now. Jim Bob can have is own sporting events / concerts out in the open field away from those pesky city folk? Yeah...happening now anyway. Jim Bob doesn't need a security clearance on to join the military cause he's in the militia? Yeah...happening now anyway. Oh...but Jim Bob wants to stock up food and set fortifications just in case the cities collapse under the weight of socialism? Well...Jim Bob can do all that right now anyway and even trade with his "freedom cell" through crypto currency. In short....if you want to live separate from city folk....just live separate from city folk. Elect local sheriffs who are dedicated to not enforcing gun control. And hide your guns well anyway.

music director at the Catholic Church I went to removed all references to God as he and used gender neutral terms instead. Two priest did nothing about it. In the Orthodox Churches that I've gone to not just the priest and bishops would not have put up with that, but neither would the congregation. The reason the Orthodox is Orthodox world wide despite separation by land, language and nationalities is that the congregation wants to be Orthodox.

BTW, these are some generalities. I've been to some good Catholic Churches and luke warm Orthodox Churches but I've found Orthodoxy a lot more consistent but oddly, less rigid at the same time.

I found there is less of a tendency for people to ask favors in prayer and more to accept God's will and his mercies.

From my understanding, the roots of the schism go back to Augustine. He was a Latin speaking lawyer who didn’t read the Greek of the Desert Fathers. Luther and many other reformers were heavily influenced by his writings as well as Thomas Aquinas.

Also when refering to the teachings of The Church, Catholics tend to see them as coming from the Pope and Cardinals. The Orthodox see The Church as a consensus of everyone from the Fathers to all the Orthodox today led by the Holy Spirit of course. One thing that led me away from the RCC was the

2 Peter 1:1-11 is our view of Salvation. Yes we are predestined and were are also told to make every effort to confirm our election, so I see it as a mix of Calvinism and RCC. After the schism the Western Churches got hung up on different on bits and pieces of scripture and couldn’t focus on the whole of it. Hell’s Unicorn described Orthodoxy view on soteriology as “primitive.” I couldn’t argue with that. The icons are our family album. The Orthodox way of venerating them is no different than the way we greet each other at Church because we are made in His image. Sometimes I think Orthodox tend to argue too much like Catholics, IMO.

I found there is less of a tendency for people to ask favors in prayer and more to accept God's will and his mercies.

Here's a quick rundown: This is my understanding of the differences between RCs and EOCs. The EOC’s interpretations of scripture takes its roots from the Desert Fathers from the 1st few centuries. There is less of a legalistic and more mystical take. God is not narrowed down to judge, brother, creator etc. He is all that at once. John the Evangelist who reclined his head on Jesus’ chest at the Last Supper, fell to his face in awe and worship in his vision in the Book of Revelation.

Fasting and works are not to fulfil a penance, it is to be closer to God (Actually your questioning about fasting led me to Orthodoxy from the RCC) My understanding of salvation is that I am saved, and my works are to unite me with God-- more to bend my will towards God's.

Sola was the first to point out that he was definitely not an antinomianism. It's funny. It still took me a year to get that in my head. Erowe1 gave the best description of FA. I disagreed only on a technicality. That's when I dropped out of the arguments.

I was an atheist, then RC, and now EOC. The discussions here helped lead me to the EOC. My first intro to Faith Alone was fellow Marines who had sex with anything and said they were save by FA. That's how I argued it. I think what finally got to me was when some RCs were trying to say the good thief was saved by an act of faith because they didn't want to say he was saved by faith. It wasgrace through faith, and that would have saved me hundred of argumentative posts.

I'm Done

by Christian Liberty on 07-27-2013 at 06:53 PM
I'm so sick of seeing "Support our troops" or even worse "Fighting for our freedoms."

During a trip to Word of Life for a week of camp I saw a bumper sticker that said "God bless our troops, especially our snipers."

Usually, when trying to prove a point about war, I don't discuss the troops. I'll probably continue to do this. One teacher I had was open minded to listening to what I had to say about war, but had a father who had served in
