He is convinced that you cannot and so you must be content to be condemned to hell . It is a completely random and capricious choice as to who is or is not saved and you have no say. This has been his message and focus in each and every place he posts here. Several disagree with this view.

Sorry if that seemed too personal. I'm just trying to understand how in your view a person can have certain faith that Jesus has saved him from his sins. Or whether you don't believe we can have that assurance.

It is all in Scripture. The Known Bible.. The Whole Bible.. old and new testaments . The Law and The Prophets,, because there is much to learn from them. But remember this,, Those who studied these things in Christs day completely missed it. Whoosh,, right over their heads,, while foreign astrologers read it in the stars, and Simple shepherds heard the announcement where Priests did not. Some knew it,, some hide wearing bug eating wild man outside of town was shouting stuff. and had a following.

Of course you are, I already made my point. Which is that you can't dismiss the established fact of a group's overall political leaning and impact by saying they are all individuals. Take California, it is a liberal hellhole. Does that mean every Californian is a liberal? Of course not, but if every citizen in California movies to Kansas you and I both know what the change in state government in Kansas will look like. And if you live in a precinct that only has 10 citizens and they are libertarians, and then 100 Democrats move in how do you think that will effect city council elections? Individuals bring their ideologies with them and we have seen time and time again what that is with the vast majority of immigrants. Are you serious? I watch the actual votes. Do you want links to actual votes? Here blue always votes against gun rights, parental rights etc. On the state level red is mixed bag, some on team red are consistently good. But team blue is consistently wrong with the exception of certain criminal justice reform.

And the point is: your cult understanding of "first earth age" can't explain the text of the Bible that we are talking about. Paul was not talking about any earth ages and the people reading the letter did not understand it in that way. That's what cults always do. They have overarching non-biblical templates that they force over the text and the writers and readers of the epistles never understood it in that way. It never entered their minds. The serpent seed heresy is cultic and in no way is supported by the Bible.

That is a cult website. That website is a purveyor of the serpent seed heresy. I don't get my information from cult websites. You don't know the end from the beginning or anything in between by reading that website and uncritically accepting all of it.

No. That is absolutely ridiculous. Paul is speaking to the Thessolonicans themselves, in their own time, and telling them God chose them: "First earth age" is just cult nonsense. It doesn't make sense to how the people reading the letter would have understood it.

not at first. But it is best to be ready. As in the days of Noah. If you want a glimpse of what the world was before the flood,, before Noah.. The books of Enoch are somewhat descriptive. and shines on and illuminates later Scripture. Fills in some vague areas. Expands Understanding.

I disagree. The entire collection of books are about Will and Choices. It is both Biblical and Perfectly Logical.. And the most striking difference between the two is the nature of God. I see God as a Loving Creator,, who had gone to great lengths to save his beloved creation. One who wishes all be saved. One who wishes a people who will Love him by choice and not serve out of fear. Whereas you present a Him as a capricious tyrant, both demanding and destructive. Who can not be pleased by any but himself.

Of course they are individuals and I said I have good conversations with them. Doesn't change the fact that mass immigration is turning red states blue. The point was that the effects of mass immigration go beyond the work that individuals do and into the type of government we have. This should be obvious to anyone.

So Paul just held the pencil while the Holy Spirit wrote his epistles, according to you, and God Himself micromanaged every Bible translation word for word (except, of course, for the Living Bible). Yet somehow the infallible God managed to let Enoch slip by? Was that the same day He came to earth in human form, and said a bunch of things in unfathomable code because He may be able to write stuff mere humans can understand (using Paul's hand) but He can't say stuff mere humans can understand using Jesus' mouth? You must really enjoy being obnoxious and starting arguments, or you'd actually do your fellow man a service for a change, and abridge the Bible. Sola Fide's Digest Condensed Bible. Enoch gets thrown out with the eunuchs and the red letter quotes all have asterisks with a footnote that says, 'You're too stupid to understand what this means.' It shouldn't take you half as long as a dozen of these arguments you love to start. With the Holy Spirit doing the typing, your fingers will fly as they've never flown before. But, of course, we have no evidence at all you're the least bit motivated to help your fellow man. You seem to be solely motivated to start heated arguments. So, if I find a scripture where Paul quotes a pagan philosopher, does that make that verse of that epistle something other than scripture? Does that mean I can assume this sentence attributed to Paul was not ghost written by the Holy Ghost? And if so, why would I take your word for it that every other random, politically correct, possibly censored by the Roman government thought that Paul put to parchment was dictated by the Holy Spirit and transcribed without error?

Possibly, and you could be right. All I know is that, in my case, regulatory burdens that cost millions in compliance costs are to be shelved, meaning we can be more competitive with other sources which in turn results in lower prices for everybody.

No, that's not where it comes from. The elect comes from the Old Testament, thousands of years before the book of Enoch was written and then falsely attributed to him.

I just started looking at the Constitution Party platform since you recommended it awhile back. There are some good things in it, but there are also some concessions to statism that I think are dangerous despite the fact that I'm moving away from strict anarcho-capitalist libertarianism. They support regulation of "obscenity", which isn't really defined, they support some drug restrictions, and they are careful to show their respect for agents of our currently illegitimate state (veterans), as well as condemning attempts to cut their benefits despite the fact that they are paid out of our pockets and for participating in unjust wars for an unjust system.

The Constitution Party isn't all bad, and I might support some of their candidates, but I don't think there is any party I can support on principle (LP is pro-choice so not an option) I respect strict theonomy even though I'm not sure I agree with it yet. I don't think anybody believes what I'm starting to believe these days.

Do you believe that it is possible to ethically justify joining the military or the police in modern day America? Or would you agree with me that it cannot be justified with our country in the state that its currently in? What would be your reasoning for your answer, one way or another?

OK, so my question is, with relations to Galatians, how is it that you can call Roman Catholics on this board "brothers" even though they add works to the gospel just like the Judaizers did? How is adding baptism as a requirement in order to be saved any different than adding circumcision as a requirement?

Out of curiosity, how do you interpret Galatians 1:8-9 and 2 John 9-11?
