I am not judging how other countries want to govern themselves. I don't care if Israel is socialist. I DO care when other countries come waltzing into other countries and tell them how to live or completely take their land from them. Centuries of propaganda, colonialism, and imperialism has made the world as we see it today. So, that's right; Israel is not the only extension of Europe. But the most modern examples are the most offensive because they occurred at a time when the world was so called "civilized" and show pure hypocrisy from Europe and America at a time of war when empire building was considered 'evil'. That modern example is Israel.

What kind of criticism? Israel is an extension of European imperialism into the middle east. You mean that kind of criticism?

Iran became a "totalitarian state" after a revolution fueled by outrage to overthrow the American selected Shah. So they are largely governed by islamic laws. If it wasn't accepted, the majority of the population would revolt. But they don't, only the young population influenced by western culture do. If there was a revolt among young people in America who favor Sharia law, they'd also be opposed by the rest of the population. It is not your place to tell them what style of government they should adopt. If you think so, then grab a gun and go put on fatigues.

I am not a white, black, or religious supremacist/extremist. I am opposed to globalism and imperialism. Your values do not apply to the rest of the world. Iran radicalized against the west because America came into their country and overthrew their democratically elected leader in 1953 to suit their interests. There are those who have "white guilt", but I'm not white so the post was offensive. Just because Ahmadinejad doesn't have western values doesn't make him worse than "any US president in the last century". At least he hasn't been imposing his will and values on the rest of the world.
