RPF is liable and has been liable. And Twitter Facebook and Youtube should be too. Unless they stop acting like publishers. Twitter Facebook and Youtube should not be able to have it both ways. They're either a platform, which doesn't censor and doesn't get sued for defamation or they're a publisher which can censor and can get sued for defamation. Twitter Facebook and Youtube want to act like Publishers (censorship, editorial content) at the same time as being regulated like a Platform (no responsibility to police defamation). Those are the bad guys, and they're currently able to have it both ways.

it will either moderate LESS - in order to get out of the Publisher Zone or it will moderate MORE - to make sure that no one is DEFAMING. When the contributors DEFAME, Facebook gets sued and loses a lot of money.

The only real change that has happened is that Facebook and them are now seen as Publishers, and they can be sued for DEFAMATION. That's huge. It means that Facebook will lose a lot of money.

And if they're doing that, that means that Facebook approves of all the posts that all of its contributors make. If a contributor DEFAMES someone, that means that Facebook DEFAMED someone. I guess that's also part of Libertarian 101. Facebook now gets to choose between neutral, and letting everyone say what they want, which has the downside of not allowing Facebook to push its political agenda, but has the upside of protecting them from DEFAMATION suits, or they can go the Publisher route, allowing Facebook the freedom to delete whatever they want, but has the downside of making Facebook responsible for everything that everyone says, making Facebook responsible for DEFAMATION.

Facebook and Twitter and Youtube remove a lot of things they don't like. That is a form of editorializing. That makes them a publisher. Trump wants Facebook to stop doing what they're doing. If Trump can send an army of defamation lawyers at those social networks, it's death by a thousand cuts for them. Ma Bell was not allowed to refuse telephone service to people they didn't like. But Publishers can do what they want. There are benefits to being a publisher and benefits to being not a publisher. The social networks can't have the benefits of being a publisher and the benefits of not being a publisher. You're one or the other, and you have the upside and downside of one or the other.

"The EO is nothing more than political posturing by Trump." Nah, it's huge. The ramifications are huge. DEFAMATION CASES. Some local bozo says, on Facebook, a business sucks because (a made up lie reason). Ordinary local business says "I'm pissed about that". But they notice that the tort feasor is not a Billion Dollar Company, and if the Defamed local business wanted to pay lawyers a ton of money, have a lengthy court case, they won't get a big pile of money at the end of it. But, The Defamed local business would now be suing local bozo who has no money, and Facebook, who has Billions. There will be a lot more defamation cases against Facebook Twitter and Youtube, because they have such deep pockets.

05-23-2020, 12:58 AM Bill Gates Offers Nigerian House of Reps $10 Million Bribe for Speedy Passage of Compulsory Coronavirus Vaccine Bill – Citizens Threaten Action to Stop It The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), on Monday (May 4, 2020), alleged that it has intercepted a human intelligence report that the Nigeria House of Representatives leadership was poised to forcefully pass the compulsory vaccine bill without subjecting it to the traditions of legislative proceedings. In a statement issued and signed by the spokesperson of the opposition political parties, Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and sent to DAILY POST in Abuja on Monday, the body urged lawmakers in the lower chamber to rise against impunity. The body in the statement alleged that a sum of $10 million was offered by the American Computer Czar, Bill Gates to influence the speedy passage of the bill without recourse to legislative public hearing, a development they averted as anachronistic, adding that the Speaker, Femi Gbajabiamila should be impeached if he forces the bill on members.

Pretty big news out of India. They've been using Hydroxychloroquine to prevent covid. It's been working pretty well. 3 new studies show that it works, not perfectly, but better than nothing, to prevent covid. And, in India, they've just expanded the categories of people who are to get HCQ to prevent covid.

I've been drinking bitter lemon. It's tonic water, with quinine, and also has lemon juice, and I've been drinking I'd say a lot of it. I like it, never really heard of it before all this, wouldn't be drinking it if I didn't like it, I'm not that worried, but if I like it, and if I'd be drinking something, why not this, it's got quinine. And it's under a buck a liter, so it seems cheap to me. Lemon also has antiviral properties.

Their priorities are bizarre. If drinking alcohol can kill the covid germ, shouldn't killing the covid germ be priority 1? First, worry about the covid germ and then, worry about alcoholism. But they don't do that. They seem to be saying something like "We have a great plan and you have to listen to us. It's a great plan and don't complain. We wreck the economy. We hire people to follow you around and track you. If you're sick, we throw you in a nursing home with old people. You did and the old people that we infect by our actions die. We congratulate ourselves when you all die. We do nothing at all to treat you except ventilators, which make you worse. We tell you that there are no treatments even when pubmed is full of potential treatments, and instead of telling you that something doesn't work, we tell you it hasn't been tested, as if that meant that it didn't work. We tell you to wait for an expensive vaccine which almost certainly will not have been tested as safe, as HCQ has."

The value of good old fashioned alcohol seems to be a mystery. The lies 4 bribes doctors would probably admit that if you poured vodka on your hands, it would work as a hand sanitizer. And if you poured vodka on counters, it would kill corona virus. But the lies 4 bribes doctors seem to do anything to avoid saying that alcohol could also kill covid that's in your mouth, in your throat, or elsewhere in the body. They then prattle on with their "alcoholism bad" story. Bars are closed, bars sell alcohol, alcohol does kill germs. I'd want to hear a lot more about that. But they don't want to tell you about that. Why can't I go to the supermarket, go to the antiviral section and buy a case of antiviral things? Problem solved. Why can't I do that. Why do I have to sort through lies to get to the truth about antivirals, and why can't supermarkets make it easy?

It makes no sense to me that FDA Approved for over 60 years doesn't cut through. "Oh, you're going to Asia? Here, take HCQ so you don't get malaria." That doesn't cut through. Maybe, maybe there aren't the kind of studies that the FDA likes that show it's going to work great. But this drug has been used for a lot of things for a lot of years. Not just malaria, but also lupus and arthritis. It's pretty insane to read MSM articles about this. Articles contain 2 paragraphs. 1) It's reckless to prescribe HCQ, because there are so many people who really really need it for so many things, like lupus and arthritis, and if it's prescribed for the covid, the people that need this won't be able to get it. and then right after that 2) It's deadly toxic poison, that person took the fish parasite aquarium version and died. (that was an overdose by the way, that fish cleaner stuff was the same stuff, but you can't just guess how much to take, they took 10 times as much. Dose is 500 mg, not 5000 mg - a teaspoon.)

All the governors have been doing a terrible job with nursing homes. Most states in the Northeast, most of the dead lived in nursing homes. The governors are doing nothing for them, they're dying, and this virus, which is really only terrible for old people and preexisting conditions, is used as an excuse for some sort of dystopian nightmare regulations. Remove all the extra pseudo laws and dictates, and focus like a laser in making sure that no more deaths in nursing homes.

The big French study - 3295 with covid - who have gotten hydroxychloroquine + zpack for 3+ days - only 17 have died. There are nursing homes in the US where there are 32 patients with covid and 13 die. Hydroxychloroquine works, and there are other things that work as well. The WHO really doesn't it when cheap meds work. HCQ costs like 31 cents a pill. If it's dangerous, why has it been FDA approved for over 60 years? They give it to people, or they used to, in order to prevent malaria. Prevent. Prescribed to prevent malaria. And it works to prevent death. Why shouldn't it be prescribed to prevent covid. It works to prevent malaria, it helps to prevent death from covid. It seems to me that it definitely could work to prevent covid. And if it's FDA approved, it certainly has to be seen as safe. If someone doesn't think that it's safe enough, maybe covid isn't really all that harmful? You wouldn't be bitching about the the side effects of an FDA approved drug if the thing it's intended to prevent is really all that serious, right? The WHO has been trying to bribe Madagascar which has developed a cheap and easy prevent / treat drink. They offered, according to the President of Madagascar, $20 Million to poison their formula.

Yes. I will add that, going back years, it has been quite easy to host videos on your own website. I'll say that a real long time ago I had a music video website, without the "modern" youtube era web 2.0 era, preceding youtube by 5-10 years, using RealVideo technology of the late 1990s. That was easy to do, but it wasn't easy for users to upload their own videos, it was actually not possible. But, for me at least, it was easy enough to set up a website that basically duplicated a lot of functions of youtube - and facebook. Using Joomla and plugins, components, etc. Actually, I did this in combination with someone here on RPF. Someone here bought the domain, and someone here said "hey, I bought, does anyone want to put up a website at" And I jumped in and said sure, and it was a pretty full featured site, but of course not popular, but it had the ability to upload a video and a social network, and a set of other features like that, and it was pretty easy to build, so, I'm just saying that 8 years ago it was easy enough to do, pretty quick, pretty easy, pretty cheap. These days you have to worry about being deplatformed by things like crowdstrike dropping you leaving you vulnerable to ddos attacks, which was what happened to 8chan which caused them to move to 8kun, and other things like that that I didn't have to worry about. So, in theory, it really should be easy enough to throw together a video component on top of a regular joomla install and be up and running in no time, a place to put Plandemic that should stay up for days, and in theory forever. Really though, these days you might need an entire conservative infrastructure, because this that and the other thing could deplatform you.

Anarchy. It is legal to kill the bad guys. Currently, and during all of our lifetimes, the bad guys bribe the government and the government protects the bad guys. I'm in favor of anarchy. No government. I don't believe that anarchy is the best way to go for long periods of time, but a short, brief period of time when the good guys, who are generally lazy and worried that the government is not on their side, which is generally true, can quickly figure out who the bad guys are and where they live, and many already know who they are, and the peasants with the pitchforks can go and kill the bad guys. But we can't have that anarchy for all that long. I'd imagine it would be pretty stressful. So, yeah, it seems like we'd need that anarchy to get rid of those entrenched bad guys. Fauci has had his job for something like 35 years. Currently, doing anything along those lines would be definitely illegal, but if there was anarchy, that would mean that it would not be illegal.

"October Surprise". I've spent a lot more time over on 8 over the last few years than here. Some arguments include "if you tell people the truth, they'll all have to go to the hospital, and we can't have that" We also hear "saving Israel for last" - because a whole lot of people have pretty much concluded that Israel, Mossad, Rothschild, Soros, etc are the problem. Because, if you're reading Q, over on 8, you'll know that it isn't just the top of the FBI and the top of the CIA that's the problem - an easy enough problem to solve - there are layers and layers and layer of deep state. We're learning about the vaccine, medical cabal with Gates and Fauci, and the banker cabal (which we know all about) and there's the internet cabal which wasn't what it was when we were getting started here in 2007.

Why don't we have a medicine for this? Is this the first virus we've ever seen? We knew 100 years ago that quinine in tonic water prevented the flu. What happened? Why do we not know this any more? Shouldn't there have been 100 years of advancement in the right direction, instead of some journey to a dystopian nightmare?

Might be done? What key vote did REPUBLICAN Susan Collins give to push Obamacare forward? I can't remember exactly what it was, but she still has her job. It's not like Maine is filled with political studs. If Maine is closed for an extended period of time, people will just leave. Old people with money move here. They already had jobs, they have money. Maine has crazy high taxes, crazy high regulations. Maine is definitely #1 in the types of cans and bottles that they make you return. And that's fine with Mainers. Taxes are high, driving people out. And when the population really never grows, there is little new construction, so, the pretty nature - which definitely is there, and the cute old 19th century towns - which definitely are there - stay preserved. You definitely don't want the rest of the US to be like Maine, but, if you like the pretty nature and the cute old towns, Maine definitely does have that going for it. There are a lot of parts of the US which are just generic crap, miles and miles of generic crap. That's not Maine. No doubt that this country is getting worse, year in, year out, and has in my pretty long lifetime. Maine's version of getting worse is at least different than the version of getting worse that other states have been implementing. In PA, there are state stores to buy liquor. In Maine, you can buy liquor in grocery stores. So, that's good. It's getting worse everywhere.

Why don't we have cures, treatments and preventatives of viruses? It's not like this is the first time that we've ever had a virus. The Spanish flu was 100 years ago. That should've sent a clear signal that we should have some sort of medicine for things like this. And somehow, we don't? F the entire medical profession for being so incompetent that they can't just give us something that will cure - at least sometimes, treat - at least sometimes - prevent - at least sometimes. 100 years, and they have nothing for us? Why did they put the guy who wanted to shoot us up with a mixture of dead babies and mercury in charge?
