Whenever people are arguing about support or refund the police I point out that cops are amoral tools. They're no different than an attack dog or even a gun. If the person using said tool has negative motives, the use of the tool is negative. Look at Sheriff's departments. There's many good ones throughout the country because they are ran by good Sheriff's who themselves are elected.

I don't know what the Mises Caucus was thinking with Rectenwald. He had the enthusiasm of a cabbage. I like that Dave is owning it, but they should have been able to find someone. He also didn't help himself when he couldn't explain his views on "private security" replacing courts. In my mind and I would think most people's, one of the few legitimate purposes of government is to adjudicate disputes that result on someone infringing on the rights of someone else.

Kmart was my first real job in highschool as well. It was right after the bankruptcy and before Lampert bought it out to gut and destroyed them further. They just didn't do enough to compete with Walmart. Everything was always just a bit more expensive and you had to wait for a sale, while Walmart had their "low prices, always" at the time. I remember even with my 10% discount on non-sale items, I usually could buy things cheaper at Walmart. They thought that somehow Kmart could charge a premium and people would pay it. Instead, things sat on the shelves. The 5-10 shift was straightening your department. I could usually be done in 20 minutes to a half hour because nobody actually disrupted it during the day. Sam Walton took the mantra of small profits per product, but selling large volumes. Kmart just didn't understand this by the time I worked for them.

What your post tells me is that too many people care about the difference between different flavors of leftist authoritarianism. Too me it's like arguing about which flavor of feces tastes better. Just stop tasting shit. The difference between fascism and communism is minor on the administrative side (elites in government running the corporations or elites in corporations running the government ) Both awful, and for the average person has no perceivable difference.

The name of the shooter is Juraj Cintula. Much like any indoctrinated leftist, he's a "writer and activist". He is a cofounder of a group Dha(Rainbow). What's funny is that at 71, he remembers what communism was actually like and had to have a real job. The only possible exception is that he escaped to the west and then came back as a "dissident" on his white horse after the fall of communism. Many of these Soros funded and trained leftists fit that mold. This shooting doesn't even need to be centrally planned. The indoctrination is so strong, they are preprogrammed. It's just like with voter fraud.
