I'm not sure of your point here, but I have certainly meant everything that I have said. What there is certainly some room for basic banter in threads there is validity in having discussion and analysis on this topic, which can be done without supporting Trump. While the site does not support Trump it is foolhardy to dismiss everything he says, or in this case, the 7 point plan he presents. It's worthy of analysis to ID points of possible value and points of weakness. This analysis will provide intellectual value and help people understand good policy. That still doesn't mean one has to or should support Trump even if he has some good points on some issues. Could we please get some more analysis on these points? Are any more details provided?

I certainly disagree with your characterization, but you're welcome to point out flaws in the moderation; I understand things aren't perfect and we aim to do better. Brian pointed out the issues here. I don't deny that some members are using arguments that I do not see as helpful to our movement. I do not question their intent or motives however, it doesn't matter if I did anyway. With the right due-process, long time members can be banned but I'm not going to railroad anyone who has been here 5+ years. They have earned more than that, just like you have earned more than that. Still, I'm not afraid to hit anyone up side the head with good arguments.

I'm honest about enforcing the guidelines, and there are many violations here-- not that they were flagged, which is extremely helpful for the site to be run properly since the staff can't read everything. And no, it is not acceptable to call members in good standing "trolls"; nor does it really make sense to call someone that who has been here for 9 years. I have reviewed much of the discussion and agree you make some excellent points here. Sometimes we allows some latitude of discussion if there is a large degree of value and there can be some positive education on the matter within our member base. It just helps to know how to get people to change their perspective on some things, mocking them and calling them trolls doesn't help. If you want to make a different you need to challenge people intellectually. For example, here's is an attempt on that for this thread: I would agree this is what is going on, any most specifically, the elites don't care about race issues, they care about control issues and they will destroy what is needed to get what they want. Many races have fallen victim to this and more will in the future if they are not stopped.

I am not an expert, but the experts that I have listened to say the scope you want is a NightForce -- they are expensive (about $1,700+) but you get what you pay for. Optics are first rate, the scopes are really durable and hold their zero. Reports are you can take the scope off, beat someone over the head with it and it will still hold its zero. :D Worth looking into...

Bryan replied to a thread RIP Shem Kellogg in Shem Kellogg Forum
This hurts. :( I meet Shem in 2008 at Ronstock, quite a character. His presence here keep us side-by-side in battle over the years. I saw Shem again at LPAC 2013, we talked for hours then and I was completely blown away with who he had become. He was a bright star. It really does hurt to know he is no longer with us. My heart goes out to his family and friends. He will be missed. He will not be forgotten. Bryan

Exactly, unfortunately this thread is too full of the opposite by multiple people. Stick to facts and logic, tear down bad argument. Don't attack other members. Closing topic. Will reopen if there is a compelling reason.

The argument for violation of libertarian principles is fraud. People pay for a product that Disney advertises in a carefully crafted manner to suggest a lavish, relaxing experience. Even right on the front page of the hotel's website they say you can "Bask on the white-sand beach"- no mention of alligator hazards in the marketing literature. Their web site even has a link for "Guest Safety" - and there is no mention of alligator hazards there either. IMO, the concept of having a sandy beach as a feature of the resort was a bad idea. Someone at Disney just thought about how they could image and market this without thinking about the real world consequences.

All of that tracking of the users takes lots of processing and data bandwidth.

What a joke, and another grand play by fb. Does anyone think this is only going to be used as "evidence"? No, you can bet this will be used to better target ads at users. Go to a Home Depot and you'll instantly get ads for Lowes, etc.

I'll answer. It depends upon what we consider "better". If we look strictly at what their policy's are on paper then I'd have to go with Trump, but within the context of who will leave the country better off, I'm not so sure, I would have to be psychic to know that. A deep concern that I have with Trump is that he'll further the Bush / Obama war doctrine while compounding it with new population divides to the point where the country will be consumed in domestic and international terrorism / warfare that can help catapult us into WWIII. Conversely, it wouldn't be hard to see Hillary continuing Obama's doctrine of socialism, even kicking it into a higher gear which would likely sink the country financially, cause another great depression, have us default in our international debts leading to global turmoil. I'm not too fond of either of these outcomes, which I see as reasonably possible. Others can disagree, which is fine, but this is my view and why I can't put my name in support of either. I respect others who choose differently.

If someone can't handle an open debate on facts and logic and just want to have a safe space where their poorly constructed views will always be unchallenged then I'm sure they won't want to stay here. There are good reasons to not support Trump but some anti Trump people seem to want to latch on to false views, those will be challenged here. The site is anti Trump, it's certainly OK for members to be. What's not OK is breaking the guidelines which includes insulting site members, as you have done. Don't try to act like a victim, as if you are being persecuted for your political views. That's not what the site is about and it's certainly not what I have discussed with you. Insulting members such as calling others trolls proves nothing, has no intellectual value, doesn't educate readers, just causes escalation of bickering and lowers the level of site discourse to the point where everyone loses. Hence, it is not allowed.

Let's please keep things civil everyone. Focus on the issues, that's what people care about and what is important. Trying to find some hidden defect or flaw in other members, calling names, etc, doesn't provide any value of interest and just lowers the site discourse. Good arguments can be made without making matters personal. Thanks.
