Been away for a while, due to a lot of busy-ness!! I've become an active chanter. I chant all Orthros and during communion in Liturgy and whenever else I'm asked. Since chanter/cantor is a minor clergy title, I got Fr.'s blessing to vest in a cantor's robe. (it's going to take a month to get here in the mail tho :P ) Since subdcn. Michael let me try 2 weeks ago, I've been allowed to take solo verses during Orthros which is pretty interesting and challenging-improvise a tune with the text given on the spot in a stylistically correct way. :O :D #kurwa Toady: Gospel John 17:1-13 Epistle Acts 20:16-18, 28-36 Sorry for the long absence, @fisharmor @TER, RJB, et al

Since you insist on keeping the topic derailed, how about you answer how Govt continues to print money, Banks print money, and how that all relates to Welfare? Does not printing money steal value from the existing money supply which causes the people to become more poor and thus dependent and controllable on those who print the money? Is that not a form of Enslavement? Work for nothing to pay your debts to lenders who have taken no actual risk, and put the consequences of money printing and fractional reserve lending on those who are not afforded the same ability?

Not necessarily. It likely wouldn't happen, but it's possible for someone in a free market to start a full reserve bank. The terms would be spelled out in the contract you sign when you open an account. Like I was telling Damian, et al in another thread long ago, such a thing is more akin to a safe deposit box than a "bank", and would probably be more of a niche specialty in a free market.

What you are saying is that Lending is impossible without either the Federal Reserve or Fractional Reserve Lending. People can borrow just fine from other people, loaning what they have, not what they create out of thin air and backed by nothing but the borrowers promise to pay. Your response, as usual, is what Hitler would have called a Loaded Question, and very -REP worthy. --- Seriously, why are you still here? A normal human being would have left a very long time ago, or at least stopped trying to post anything related to Economics, which is exactly where most of the -REPs I have given you come from, as well as MANY others.

Why do you advocate FOR people borrowing money from other groups of people under specific titles who are loaning what they do NOT have to begin with? Then to add insult to injury, claim there is Risk in loaning what they did not have to begin with as an excuse to charge interest on top of what they created out of thin air? Who is the real Counterfeiter here?

That's a hefty sticker price. And were it not a Jeep I might be inclined to love it a little more. But, a Jeep is supposed to be iconic. I hate that new styling. And would much rather have 4WD vs. AWD.

Not just gold, but Fractional Reserve Lending practices have to go also. Reserve requirements are now something like 1%. Other than that, ALL Free Market and get govt the fuck out of everything.

Fed Apologist. Of course you'll make claims that say one has nothing to do with the other when you watch the overall trend of price of everything going UP UP UP and say "oh no, thats perfectly normal". Sure, in a Dishonest Money System. -REP It is time for you to stop defending the source of our problems.

Listening to the MSM the other night, only because I wanted to witness the hype, it was reported that at least two explosive devices were found. One a Molotov cocktail the other a CO2 device.

Yup. The very existence of food stamps is an indication that their is a major problem with our money system. Food prices go up, wages stay the same. Food prices go up even more, wages still dont change. Food continues to go up, wages still dont go up. Thats called Stagflation, but according to the Fed and Zippy, food should not be used as an indicator of Inflation. King Jeremy the Wicked. Haven't read much about his home life or whether he was on SSRI's. But, you are spot on when you talk about holding the school system accountable. 7-8 adults interact with him over an hour each day. Perhaps 15-20 adults in a given week. And nothing? I don't require teachers to be psychologists. But, I've been a Boy Scout leader and if you interact with someone for an hour, you can tell when something is "off." Unless, they are a true psychopath. And there has been some. In which case no one could see it coming. Apparently, in this case, no one did.

Twitter may be run by a bunch of hypocritical asshats, but the only monopoly Twitter has is over Twitter. This is a thing called "ownership." You have the right of free speech. You have no right to make someone else provide you with a soap box or printing press. (And anyone who thinks Twitter is the whole - or even just most - of "the Public Square" needs to get out of mom's basement for a while ...)

They used to just be called "ad men."As long as there has been print, t.v. and radio there has always been "manipulators."

It's William Weld's turn. He's waited paitiently. And he's the "Original Libertarian" ... Boehner can be VP. (Or maybe Paul Ryan, since he's free now.)
