No I'm not. I appreciate that they are on our side this time but that doesn't make our view the majority view held by Trump supporters.

Raimondo lives in his own bubble bordering on delusion. Step outside the Antiwar/Lew Rockwell section of the Trump movement. Lots of Trump supporters are blindly supporting this intervention, guys like Raimondo and Alex Jones have their own sphere of influence but they do not represent the 10s of millions who voted for Trump. I read a thread on another forum the other day, it was not a specifically political forum but 95% of the members are Trump supporters, of those I'd say 80-90% who voiced their opinion supported the Syria intervention and ridiculed our point of view as tin foil hat. Now, I can't say what the numbers are over all, but just because a bunch of obscure libertarian and paleo con icons decided to throw their votes to Trump does not mean they speak for the masses.

Jeff Flake On The Record - Jeff Flake voted YES on S.Amdt. 871 to S.Amdt. 1003 to H.R. 2810: War Authorization The 2001 AUMF has been used by presidents ever since as a blank check not only for continued U.S. military intervention in Afghanistan, but for new military interventions elsewhere, including Libya, Syria, and Yemen — despite the fact that constitutionally authorized power to declare war belongs to Congress, not the president. - Jeff Flake voted YES On Passage of the Bill H.R. 3364: Sanctions on Russia, Iran, and North Korea Imposing new sanctions in the name of punishing the regimes’ provocations and aggression could itself be viewed as provocative and could result in push-back further involving the United States in the affairs of other countries and regions. Instead of acting as a global cop, America would be best served by returning to our traditional and constitutionally sound foreign policy of staying clear of foreign quarrels. - Jeff Flake voted YES on Amendment S.Amdt. 240 to S. 722: NATO Not only should the United States stay clear of entangling alliances such as NATO, but the NATO provision that obligates the United States to go to war if any member of NATO is attacked undermines the provision in the U.S. Constitution that assigns to Congress the power to declare war. Moreover, the number of nations that the United States has pledged to defend under NATO has grown from 11 to 28 over the years, as the alliance itself has grown from 12 member nations (including the United States) when NATO was created in 1949 to 29 today. Although NATO was ostensibly formed to counter the threat from the Soviet bloc of nations, some of the nations the United States is now pledged to defend under NATO were once part of that bloc, including Albania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic (as part of Czechoslovakia), Hungary, Poland, and Romania. - Jeff Flake voted NO on Motion: Blocking U.S. Arms Sales to Saudi Arabia Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) introduced this bill (Senate Joint Resolution 42) to block the sale of "certain defense articles" to Saudi Arabia, including laser-guided weapons systems and fighter aircraft. Paul has opposed selling arms to Saudi Arabia because the regime oppresses its own people, is engaged militarily in the civil war in Yemen, and has supported ISIS. "Who in their right mind would give money, arms, or share our technology with a country that has been supporting ISIS?" Paul asked on the Senate floor.

Benjamin Sasse On The Record - Ben Sasse voted NO on Amendment S.Amdt. 1298 to S.Amdt. 1116 to H.Con.Res. 71: Budget Cut Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) introduced an amendment to cut $43 billion in budget authority in fiscal 2018. Federal spending, much of which is unconstitutional, is out of control and needs to be reined in. - Ben Sasse voted YES on S.Amdt. - Ben Sasse voted YES on Amendment S.Amdt. 240 to S. 722: NATO Not only should the United States stay clear of entangling alliances such as NATO, but the NATO provision that obligates the United States to go to war if any member of NATO is attacked undermines the provision in the U.S. Constitution that assigns to Congress the power to declare war. The United States should not interject itself in foreign conflicts such as the civil war in Yemen (via arms sales to one of the combatants in that conflict -- Saudi Arabia), and should not take steps tantamount to going to war without a declaration of war by Congress.

A car load of us attended Harrisburg which had a very good turnout. I also used this opportunity to raise awareness by passing out printed sheets concerning National Biometric ID : http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?520244-30-Second-Activist-Action-Needed-(H-R-4760) Most of the folks never heard of it and expressed great interest in fighting back by calling their reps. Surprisingly, I did run into a couple of folks who actually supported Bio-ID, they believed that it could be a solution to eliminate foreigners coming into our country.

If he just took the time to divorce every woman around when he slept with the the next one that would be fine with these evangelical leaders. They would be talking about how sweet first lady Stormy is.

Yes. Russ Fulcher and Michael Snyder are two libertyish candidates running to replace him. Kelli has an uphill battle, but Austin has zero chance regardless of how good he is or isn't. You can't win a senate election with a couple hundred grand, anybody outside of MO who spends energy on him is wasting it. We might not be able to know who will win but after a few cycles finding the losers is pretty easy.

The NRA appreciates your donation, and will continue to use it to further their agenda of defending the 2nd Amendment by banning dangerous things like Bump Stocks. Seriously though, there are lots of good groups but in the defending the 2nd category donating to the NRA falls somewhere in between spending it on beer, and supporting Moms Demand. The NRA talked Trump into banning bump stocks in the first place. https://home.nra.org/joint-statement

He came in a close second in the primary and is headed to the runoff. https://www.caller.com/story/news/politics/elections/2018/03/06/2018-texas-primary-election-who-win-texas-27th-congressional-district-primaries/395489002/

Some liberty people have won elections. It's kind of comical really how so many seem to think Ron Paul's congressional electorate must have been libertarian, or Trump was elected by tens of millions of members of the Alt Right. There is so much more to winning an election than principles. Only a handful of voters care about principles enough to research every race and vote on them, but a high percentage of voters have voted for a principled candidate at some time. A lot of the same people who voted for Rand for Senate also like John Bolton. A lot of Rubio supporters would vote for a local liberty candidate if he knocked on their door and asked.
