I have nothing against electric vehicles, battery, high-density energy storage or other, etc. It is not my job to decide or police innovators/entrepreneurs, anymore than it is for government to subsidize/protectionism them. Let the entrepreneur do it on his/her own dime and the market will sort it out. Dreaming sometimes leads to success when acted upon ;-)

I can't solve the world's problems, nor can anybody. I simply responded to your question: "There doesn't seem to be any strings to the free childcare he gave away. So......what's the corruption you're concerned about?" When philanthropists do such things, people always grow reliant, and from there leads to conditions and eventual corruption. It's built in. Me as an individual can help one in need, and I have, but unlike philanthropists I know when to completely back off. The philanthropist who gives stuff for free as a matter of routine typically perpetuates the problem of reliance, and potential strings attached, more than it "helps". Take from it what you will ;-)

Yep, I understand that and have no problem with that. But as you know, anybody and everybody who gets involved with government and/or takes positions within always leads to bigger government and eventual abuse.

Positive: Voluntarism. Negative: Philanthropy with strings attached which leads to favors, power and corruption.

The latest from him is, he turned 3rd Positionist because he believes that's the only way out of this mess. IOW: let the corporations run the government run the slaves. Because: President Biden has long vowed to build 500,000 electric vehicle charging stations in the United States by 2030. But now, more than two years after Congress allocated $7.5 billion to help build out those stations, only 7 EV charging stations are operational across four states. I'm sure he and Trump will pull another OWS out of thin air for the electric car business and the repubs will love them for it.

Reading the OP and the line-up, yeah, if only people would just read that short list of Bill of Rights and actually stood by them. Then TSA , nationalized Stop and Frisk, LEO immunity, wouldn't even be considered. And any president who promotes those things would be stoned off the stage. Right Anti Federalist ?
