This should be the default of any/all true conservatives. I'll take it. But I'm certainly not going to vote for him and his little bones in exchange for his other idiotic "bait and switch" agendas. This is how they Pied-Piper people into giving consent to all of the other harmful policies that they want to implement.

Oh FFS. A strange thing can happen when a person stands up publicly for what's right. Other people see them doing it and some of them, not all certainly but some, are encouraged to do something similar and stand up themselves. Yet other people see this and some of them are similarly encouraged and act similarly, and this ripple effect continues on throughout the population. This can happen even when you’re standing against strong opposition, or worse, against seemingly insurmountable odds. In fact sometimes that increases the effect. When you do it from an EXTREMELY high profile position like the presidency, it gives you the opportunity to potentially increase the effect by many orders of magnitude. At the very least, standing up for what’s right encourages those who are already striving for the right to continue on regardless of the apparent odds. And this in itself is totally worthwhile and worth doing, even if it's all you accomplish. It IS NOT mere virtue signalling.

Maybe I'm jaded at this point but I'm pretty tired of everybody and their brother asking for money for this-or-that these days. And I say that as someone only a couple hours away from Asheville and have friends there in the middle of it. FWIW, I've been informed by them that all of people pouring in to "help" are actually causing more problems than they're solving.

That still requires taxing people who fund the entitlements, which is wrong. I know it's not todays "reality" but the only solution is to end the entitlements. http://www.ronpaulforums.com/showthread.php?568258-To-Beat-the-State-We-Must-Replace-It-Radio-Rothbard

Mises Wire Ryan McMaken 10/10/2024 This article is adapted from a lecture delivered at the Albuquerque Mises Circle in New Mexico, September 14, 2024. Listen to an audio version, here. Throughout its history, liberalism—the ideology today called “classical liberalism” or “libertarianism”—has suffered from the impression that it is primarily against things. This is not entirely wrong. Historically, liberalism coalesced as a recognizable ideology in opposition largely to mercantilism and absolutism throughout western Europe. Over time, this opposition extended to socialism, protectionism, imperialism, aggressive warfare, and slavery as well. In this regard, liberals have for centuries fought against a wide array of moral and economic evils that spread poverty, injustice, and misery. Being “against” things, however, has never been sufficient in itself, and liberals have never contented themselves with being so. Liberalism, of course, has long been closely associated with so-called “bourgeois” values, private property, local self-determination, and—in spite of claims to the contrary—religious institutions. Today, however, these institutions that have long under-girded liberalism and the free society are in an advanced state of decay. These are the institutions that have made society and civic life possible without state control.

It's the Billionaire Club. Once Elon and others get the subsidies that they want that they "can't get" under the Biden Harris Administration, the Lame Duck president will leave office and leave us stuck with the bill.

It doesn't matter what it is; Gold, Bitcoin, Coffee Beans, any commodity for that matter... once government/central planners get their grubby fingers on it and control it, it all goes south. That much is known, but when the people continue to allow it to happen, they are just as complicit as well.

By David Stockman David Stockman's Contra Corner October 11, 2024 The Dem candidate brags about 16 million new jobs on the Harris-Biden watch and Trump claims the Greatest Economy Ever—evidenced in part by low inflation that his successor purportedly blew sky high. Both are lying. Both ignore crucial matters of context—such as stage of the business cycle, Fed policy actions, forces arising from the $105 trillion global economy in which US growth, jobs and inflation are inextricably rooted and the fact of lag times in transmission of Washington policy into economic outcomes. Among other things, these factors mean that comparing administrations based on the calendar happenstance of four or eight year presidential terms is inherently dubious. There are too many intervening and cross-cutting forces that usually far overpower the meager impact of White House policy pronouncements and implemented actions.

Financial Times Edward Luce March 20 2024 The Republican candidate’s financial difficulties pose risks for America as well as for himself. For Donald Trump, it would not be seven times a charm. His first six bankruptcies all took place before he went into politics. Most of these occurred in two phases: in the early 1990s after he had over-extended on a clutch of Atlantic City casinos, then on various properties before and after the 2008 crash. America’s Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection got him out of trouble.

By Louis Jacobson October 9, 2024 One of the most important questions many Americans have in an election is how presidential candidates would approach taxes. For this year’s nominees, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, their answers have little in common.

AI has no use for trees or vegetation. Sand is the way to go. I'm gonna buy up some land in the Mojave Desert to make nickels on the penny. Which in just a couple of years those nickels will be worth a penny. It's not so much an investment as it is a hedge. Wait... what's another term for hedge that won't be confused with vegetation?

DailyWire.com By Tim Rice Oct 7, 2024 Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro joined former President Donald Trump in New York Monday to mark the first anniversary of Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel with a trip to the tomb of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Chabad. Trump and Shapiro visited the Ohel Chabad-Lubavitch in Queens, the final resting place of one of the most influential Jews of the 20th century. Schneerson, affectionately known as the “Rebbe,” led the Chabad-Lubavitch movement, which promotes Judaism around the world.

I don't want there to be any confusion about how much I abhor Klaus Schwab, the GLOBAL WEF and anybody profiting off of me chip implants and the 4th Industrial Revolution. Other people's fake tits I can simply ignore. I go about my own business every day and it's not an issue with me. It's a matter of economics.
