More from Gundlach's Yahoo interview at link https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/gundlach-trouble-brewing-debt-markets-real-turmoil-only-beginning I started paying closer attention to his thoughts when he correctly predicted that when the 10 year hit 3.22% ('322' eh? I wish to subscribe to your newsletter, sir) last year, the end of year sell-off would start. He was exactly right.

It's a pretty major assumption on your part that Amash will lose his seat if he runs for re-election. Running as an Independent/Unaffiliated/3rd party means he doesn't have to worry about winning a GOP primary and would be on the general election ballot regardless. Enthusiasm for R/D is terrible, for obvious reasons, so it's very possible he wins his seat again.

The irony of this thread is that Amazon is basically just running the Chinese model of low wages, long hours, maximum efficiency with little regard for safety. Even the "pre-shift pep rally" is what the Chinese factories do, though they're more military-like about it. Yet the OP is clearly implying that a socialist (the soft predecessor to communism) union model is the answer.

Surely the mass arrests will start now! (Someone should tell Trump who the FBI and NSA work for. It's not Americans. It's the City of London and the Vatican. They spy on all Pres candidates.)

Doesn't apply. It's politics between branches of the government of the state. If there's any "foreign power" involved here it's Israel and its superiors. But Trump is a huge Israel supporter so that doesn't apply. Trumpkins view Donald as the King, hence their continual misuse of the term "treason". Not an elected President, the head of one of three branches of government, but rather a King. In a constitutional republic, there is no King, so doesn't apply. In the more historically correct context, the USG is currently a corporation and corporations do not have Kings, either. Government levying war against itself via constitutional operations? Illogical. The government adhering to and giving aid and comfort to the enemies of the government? Also illogical.

I think there are many factors that determine how much and what type of advertising companies do. When an entity has stores all over with huge signs and name recognition, and loyal repeat customers, they probably don't need to advertise as much. Competition is probably a huge factor also. Furthermore the vehicle has probably changed also. Television is probably losing favor. Direct mail advertising has plummeted over the years. People already know if they are hungry they can go to McDonalds. People don't know if they can get auto insurance, cellular service, cheaper unless they research.

I am not saying that they totally stop advertising but years ago McDonald's had jingles and commercials that played all the time. What about Nike? Coke?

Congress is Trump’s Co-Conspirator Against Liberty written by ron paul - monday december 9, 2019 Imagine that President Trump spent his phone call with the Ukrainian president threatening to withhold military aid unless the Ukrainian government agreed to use the money to purchase weapons from a US manufacturer. Does anyone seriously think that foreign service professionals and deep state operatives would be so shocked and offended by Trump’s request that they would launch efforts to impeach him? Would Congress view this as “high crimes and misdemeanors” or applaud Trump for carrying out one of modern presidents’ supposedly most important jobs — acting as salesmen for the American military-industrial complex? This hypothetical shows that impeachment is not about President Trump’s abuse of power. Instead, it is an attempt to make sure President Trump, and all future presidents, confine their abuses of power to items that advance the agenda of the political establishment. President Trump’s most consequential abuses of power have been met with the full approval of the majority in Congress, the mainstream media, and the deep state. For example, when President Trump launched military action in Syria without obtaining a congressional declaration of war there were no calls for his impeachment. Instead, most members of Congress were perfectly happy to let stand unchallenged President Trump’s claim that the 2001 authorization for use of military force —a limited grant of authority to act against those responsible for the September 11, 2001 attacks — gave him the authority to launch military action against a government that had nothing to do with the September 11th attacks. The only times Congress rebukes President Trump’s foreign policy is when he speaks favorably about pursuing peaceful relations with Russia or ending US involvement in no-win military conflicts. This hypocrisy extends beyond foreign policy. Many Democrats who claim that President Trump is both a fascist and mentally unhinged are eager to ensure President Trump can continue to conduct warrantless surveillance on every American by reauthorizing Section 215 of the PATRIOT Act.

Who is this senile old crank? I seem to dimly recall him doing something, but it escapes me at the moment. In any event he's clearly a few slices short of a loaf to be accusing our Great Orange Hope of such "high crimes and misdemeaners." He's obviously colluding with the likes of Amash, and maybe even Satan, in the coup attempt against our Glorious Leader.

I disagree. People that work efficiently move up the ladder. They develop skills and move on to bigger and better jobs. They become managers, foremen, or supervisors. They lead crews. A person that only works to meet a quota remains a low skilled poorly paid individual. My daughter worked piecework at a place a couple of years ago. Her production was thru the roof. They let her work as little or as much as she wanted. She could come and go as she pleased. She was paid a higher wage than people that had worked there for years. She did this without even trying because it was easy work for her.

The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”
