Argentina’s new Artificial Intelligence Unit Applied to Security will be tasked with surveillance in the real and virtual worlds. Experts warn about privacy violations. Javier Milei in Rosario (Argentina), on June 20. Farid Dumat Kelzi (AP) The adjustment and streamlining of public agencies that President Javier Milei is driving in Argentina does not apply to the areas of security and defense. After restoring the State Intelligence Secretariat and assigning it millions of reserved funds —for which he does not have to account— the president has now created a special unit that will deal with cyberpatrolling on social media and the internet, the analysis of security cameras in real time and aerial surveillance using drones, among other things. In addition, he will use “machine learning algorithms” to “predict future crimes,” as the sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick once dreamed up, later made famous by the film Minority Report. How will Milei do all that? Through artificial intelligence, the executive announced.

by Joel Salatin Oct 9, 2024 With the national health crisis, food debauchery, and farm exploitation suddenly jumping to headlines via RFK, Jr., numerous people have offered solutions but nothing I’ve seen truly gets to the heart of the problem. Recently RFK, Jr. gave his recipe but in general, it’s yet another request for government intervention in these fields (pun intended). Capping drug prices, prohibiting research grants from going to people with conflicts of interest, and reforming crop subsidies to incentivize healthier alternatives all sound nice. Eliminating SNAP (formerly food stamps) from being spent on high fructose corn syrup drinks ($9 billion annually) sounds good too. Who can disagree with requiring nutrition courses in medical schools and demanding government research grants go toward holistic and alternative health approaches? All of this sounds good in theory, but how? Goodness, we now have official government findings that Cheerios and Fruit Loops are more nutritious than beef. Who is going to make the kinds of U-turns within the bureaucracies that such changes would require?

That right there is why we keep drifting further away from local/state where money would be used more wisely/efficiently. FEMA used to be repugnant to big government opponents, now he is openly in contact and works with them - under both presidencies. - As president, Trump authorized and implemented on October 03, 2018 a “Presidential Alert” via FEMA to all capable privately-owned cell phones in the United States. - This Is a Slow-Motion Nationalization of the Economy But yeah, Kamala is politicizing it to get more buy-in from her "side" of the isle. And DeSantis took the... bait(?).

That's it in a nutshell; "Fair Trade", an interventionists excuse to eliminate/interfere with free trade and bilateral agreements in order for a third party to profit. You thief you.

You posed the following: You couldn’t get more vague than that, which was nonsense from the get go. Based on what data/source? Based on what crime? J-walking? Speeding? Murder? Chewing bubble-gum at a private event which posted a sign no chewing bubble-gum? It has been said that the average American commits 3 felonies per day, so I really don’t know what you’re getting at unless you provide more parameters and or data/source of which you are eluding.

Undocumented Immigrant Offending Rate Lower Than U.S.-Born Citizen Rate Analysis of Texas arrest records indicates a consistent trend across violent, drug, property, and traffic offenses between 2012 and 2018. National Institute of Justice September 12, 2024 An NIJ-funded study examining data from the Texas Department of Public Safety estimated the rate at which undocumented immigrants are arrested for committing crimes. The study found that undocumented immigrants are arrested at less than half the rate of native-born U.S. citizens for violent and drug crimes and a quarter the rate of native-born citizens for property crimes.

Blowback? They don't want either "party" in? Another psyop to "turn out the vote"? A cry for more police-state and Domestic TSA? WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI has arrested an Afghan man who officials say was inspired by the Islamic State militant organization and was plotting an Election Day attack targeting large crowds in the U.S., the Justice Department said Tuesday. Nasir Ahmad Tawhedi, 27, of Oklahoma City told investigators after his arrest Monday that he had planned his attack to coincide with Election Day next month and that he and a co-conspirator expected to die as martyrs, according to charging documents. Tawhedi, who arrived in the U.S. in September 2021, had taken steps in recent weeks to advance his attack plans, including by ordering AK-47 rifles, liquidating his family’s assets and buying one-way tickets for his wife and child to travel home to Afghanistan, officials said.

Trump Wants To "Beat China" By Taxing Americans? By Chris Rossini 1/19/2016 Today's Liberty Report focused on free trade vs. protectionism and how the latter has historically been a segue into war. Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams also discussed the heroic Richard Cobden and the political movement called the Anti-Corn Law League that was formed in 1838. See here for more on Cobden. It's very easy to look at foreign trade on a superficial level. Those big American corporations go to China to exploit cheap labor, thus destroying "our jobs". That's about as far as most people are willing to contemplate the situation. Sadly that's a very naive perspective to hold.

Perhaps a spy camera on every street corner or home is needed, from what I could see it could be a chicken for all I know. There used to a time when "Republicans" were all about "it's my property mind your own f&cking business". Now we have folks on the RPF wanting to know if cops were called.
