Just the customary last rally to sucker in bagholders before the rug is pulled next month. As far as trading goes I've taken a couple small positions in monkeypox stocks, along with one of the meme stocks that's tied to GME via swaps. Also, been regretting not jumping on puts for a couple symbols I knew were going to tank but I'm very risk averse. Would have made a bundle if I had followed through on them, though. Oh well.
The comments on various articles related to this case are seriously scary. I think a lot of them are shill postings but are still downright unhinged and scary. People have lost their f'in minds.
Oh yeah, and SH was a FEMA drill, that's all.
Yes, yes, because that's exactly what the Founders envisioned the office of President to be. Chief Divider and Pisser-Offer was surely what Jefferson and Washington, et al had in mind.
(spinning in their graves....do you people hear yourselves? no wonder this country is circling the drain jeez)
That's how he's being engineered into endearment by the right as their new pre-selected standard-bearer. Just sound anti-left, not so much pro-right, and the flyover folks will embrace you. No one thinks it's odd how, judging by media and forum/internet attention given to him, DeSantis (and Abbott to a lesser extent) are the only Republican governors in the country? No one else is ever so much as mentioned but oh boy if DeSantis farts in the left's general direction there's a news item spread all over the net about it. Manufactured appeal...
Are major studios finally changing course, dropping "the message," and going back to doing what they should have been doing all along, namely, making decent movies? Here's hoping.
“You know, this concertina wire is really becoming a problem. Occasionally, in the night, an enemy will sneak in, take a length of it and strangle a few of our men with it. I think we need to tear it all down and forever bar it’s further use in order to prevent those kinds of strangulations.”
Being the only part of the CONstitution that’s actually worth even the parchment it was written on, I think I’d prefer to keep it around, at least for any stray protection it might yet afford. I’d imagine that, were it ever actually repealed, we’d see our rights “subverted and bypassed,” and our persons violated in plenty of new and interesting ways.

It’s the most expensive “free” shot of all time.
Pfizer’s Q2 earnings numbers parallel that of a top 5 global energy company. Of course, the slight difference here is that energy companies actually provide essential services for human flourishing, while Pfizer provides, well, government-backed snake oil.
It’s like I say; rejoice in the idiocy and be at peace knowing that the slow decent into tyranny has become an exhilarating white knuckled death slide. You got to keep it positive.
Two weeks to flatten western civilization. Operation Warped Reality. Trump even being mentioned in a positive light regarding liberty is an insult to a thinking man’s thinking skills!

Bill Gates was among a ‘wide range’ of CEOs and labor bosses who lobbied to change Manchin’s mind
July 30, 2022
Bill Gates was among those who lobbied U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin—a frequent key Democratic holdout—to support an economic package focusing on climate and health care, after more than a year of negotiations.
The push for the conservative Democrat to support what is now the Inflation Reduction Act—but was, until recently, the Build Back Better Act—included more than 20 leaders of clean energy manufacturing companies with plans to put down roots in Manchin’s West Virginia. They included Bill Gates, who owns a venture capital firm that has backed a battery start-up there, Politico reports.

“The right to life is the source of all rights—and the right to property is their only implementation. Without property rights, no other rights are possible. Since man has to sustain his life by his own effort, the man who has no right to the product of his effort has no means to sustain his life. The man who produces while others dispose of his product, is a slave.”
