Trump and his handlers are brilliant. It's like a plant wanting to infiltrate a drug lord in another country. Know your enemy, stand in front of the mirror, practice your lines speaking their language, gain their trust, and then WHAM. They didn't get into their positions by luck or because they care about you.

This should be moved to another thread. The only reason I responded was because trump was pictured with those "cute little animals" in a states rights thread. IE: Indirect Support for Nationalism, and/or a "King" who redistributes my money.

We have lost tremendous ground since the advent of Trumpism. From the Ron Paul movement and shortly thereafter, there was a lot of education and growing support for State's Rights and Local/Cell Community endeavors. Since Trump, and as clearly outlined by his pathetic Agenda47, the acceptance of "Nationalism" became the norm. Whether there is a difference between "nationalism" and "communism", I equate them the same, in that individualism is no longer regarded, and money is transferred from my pocket into somebody else's. Whether it's for folks on Welfare or the "American Academy" or the Federally-Funded Militarized LEO makes no difference to me - it is the Centralization of Power, the transfer of wealth and theft all the same. Nationalist-Commies, the lot of them. I do not support any of that CRAP, and I sure as h3ll ain't "voting". Now somebody can be a very good do-gooder and correct my "definitions"

I get that and I agree. The problem is, in your "states" example, people are already glorifying Trump as if he was a King sent by God. All while completely ignoring his pathetic platform which he posted on his own site which I can't even imagine how this country is going to look if/when rolled out. Keep Trump out of states issues and I will fine with that. Which is the way it's supposed to be anyway, ain'tIright?

For the time being. Refer to Post #4. For the record, poor squirrel. At one time I considered a de-glanded skunk for a pet until PA outlawed it right before I got one. I'm not moving to Ohio to just to own a skunk.

Sure. Let Trump FUND it all, give PREP Act immunity, let the Dems roll it out further, Trump continues to take the credit, and then count Trump as the savior who was sent by God :tears: Those 2 letters of a 26 character alphabet... you guys are really something else :nauseated:

I know, I know, you're tired of hearing it... just wait until federally funded LOCAL Law Enforcement... well, you know the rest. Like "Patriot" Act, TSA, etc., we're a little overdue to have something else to complain about after it has been implemented. All I'm hearing around my neck of the woods is that our "Hero's in Blue" need more "Power and Protection" and "need more Funding". That's one campaign promise that will be kept.

Ron has already stated that he will not take a position in the administration. It is in one of the threads where he was interviewed.

Except that nothing is in writing, except for his Agenda47, which is riddled with "bait and switch" and police-state authoritarian agendas which just about everybody ignores. I have a bad gut feeling about this. Every republican presidency has brought more authoritarianism upon us, and Trump himself has stated and written that he wants to provide record funding for the MIC, including but not limited to Militarizing LEO with immunity. Tax/fine/sue private donors for a nationalized university, more bait and switch government overreach for his homeschooling initiative spells disaster, which you simply ignore, and then criticize others when somebody brings it out in the open. Also, Ron himself stated that he will not take a position in the administration, though he is willing to speak with anybody who wants to listen. This does not equate to "give a "libertarian" the world on a silver platter". You have been warned.

Certainly he would not hang up on them. Ron is all about outreach and stated in one of his episodes that he is non-partisan and will speak with anybody. The question remains, after noosing everybody into voting for them, will they actually call Ron on the phone and/or visit with him and ask for his advice? I remember Mitt saying Ron is the Constitutional expert, yet he did everything in his power to prevent Ron from winning.

Dave and Tom provided some food for thought and their own perspectives. It is still very important to litmus test, look at each policy and how it is put together, to determine if those policies are actually good, bad or indifferent. There is information that has been published by very reputable sources which shows the breakdown and "bad" of these policies, but they are ignored/overlooked in hopes of some magic bullet. You brought up "risk". Do you actually understand the risk? Is that risk acceptable? You stated that "it doesn't have to", but until/unless the people are fully informed and understand the breakdown of the policies, they are simply supporting policies blindly and on faith. Which doesn't have to be.

I'm still listening to the interview with Ron. He stated that he will not take a position with the administration, but will continue the education for the long haul. He eluded that it is important that people have an understanding of what is entailed, otherwise it will lead to chaos/civil war. A lot of folks are forgetting the fact that administrations do change, and that unless/until The People are on board with policies, everything done now can simply flip on a dime. The danger is the implementation of bad policies which are embedded into these programs, which are never reversed, all in hope for the correct and rightful policies which seldom ever are. It is the government , after all, and it is not out to "free us", but to keep us at bay.
