Ah gawsh. When the youngsters start saying youngster, it's probably time to put me out to pasture. lolol. I keep forgetting that we've watched people basically grow up under the tent for the past 30 years or so. But that's a good thing, I suppose. You guys would've had fun in the 80s when a feller had to pound pavement the old fashioned way. No Internet, no smart phones, no nothing. Instant activism was unheard of. Only radio and newspapers and if your letter got through to the editor and printed, it was a small victory. Billboards were the memes of the day. lolol.

Isn't the politicization of everything really what the People asked for in the first place? To surrender their independence and liberty in at the front door of the jailers and take to their cells in the panopticon? This is Statism's only promise: you will be equal, you will be fed, you will be controlled. Who gives a shit about anything else, our freedom is just a license from the polis?

...Except it wasn't an appeal to authority. Please re-read the explanation of the fallacy for comprehension. Insisting someone read people who have actually thought through a philosophy and written about it intelligently in order to actually comprehend it is not significantly different than directing a person to a definitive encyclopedia. (rather like directing someone to read the Objectivist Manifesto and Rand's other non fiction in order to understand Objectivism instead of making shit up about Objectivism) Please school yourself before trying to school me, youngster.

I never suggested paganism was a high point, and if I did I'm sorry. What I'm asking is for some intellectual honesty from Christians. So long as there are "barbarians" out there who need the demystified cross of democracy, Christians will maintain this magical worldview they've got a mandate to destroy other civilizations. And I'm not going to single out just Christians. The modern True Believer is the Atheist: he enjoys all the blessings of Christianity, without the spiritual obligations. In fact, take away his God and give William Bradford a neckbeard and Che tee, and you've got yourself an Atheist.

You are just wrong about the farms I'm talking about that I've actually been to. I guess you just simply can't fathom there is such a thing as a good humane homestead. There are many dairies where the animals are literally treated as pets with names and all. But you never admit to that, you insist on demonizing all farmers who do anything besides crops.

You know why the man emphasized their right to preemptively bomb the US? Because the US acts like it has the right to preemptively bomb North Korea. There's no negotiating with terrorists, right?

But there would be a State. Capitalism requires a coercive force. Economic security requires a coercive force. This is fundamental. Another thing, Pierz. And this is just a little tip for functionally debating, since I've noticed that you try to do this quite a bit in order to sell your ism. And it's not just you, this happens every time we debate trustees of this particular ism. You cannot reframe the question or the terms of the whole of the debate in order to omit your ism's shortcomings. At least, not honestly. You will get busted and called out on it every single time. At least, on this forum. Every single time. Simple ignorace, of course, is an entirely different matter. We'll try to help one to understand the shortcomings of voluntary socialism if one is willing to objectively hear them so as to make an informed choice toward a functionl understanding of the workings of culture, government, proper man-to-man/government-to-man relations, etc.

Aw, geez. Why'd you have to quote me, of all people on this thread? Hm? Why? I left the thread. Firstly, I advocate for small government. Secondly, I'm intellectually honest enough to know that anarchy and capitalism do not mix. I'm smart enough to understand that capitalism cannot function without a coercive force. I've thought it through all the way.

Your fallacy is... Appeal to Authority argumentum ad verecundiam (also known as: argument from authority, appeal to false authority, appeal to unqualified authority, argument from false authority, ipse dixit) Description: Using an authority as evidence in your argument when the authority is not really an authority on the facts relevant to the argument. As the audience, allowing an irrelevant authority to add credibility to the claim being made. Logical Form: According to person 1, Y is true. Therefore, Y is true. Example #1: My 5th-grade teacher once told me that girls would go crazy for boys if they learn how to dance. Therefore, if you want to make the ladies go crazy for you, learn to dance. Explanation: Even if the 5th-grade teacher were an expert on relationships, her belief about what makes girls “go crazy” for boys is speculative, or perhaps circumstantial, at best.

I'm talking about the vegans I know. You've made it clear before that you are not a vegan. You've said you don't always agree with them either. But it's true that animals are a vital source of food in the world right now. The poor in destitute countries need nutrition. And there have been happy and healthy milk cows on small farms for thousands of years. Just facts.

Well. Collectivist mindsets do tend to view humans as members of groups rather than as individuals. I know vegans who just mind their own business and don't bother anybody.

Then the vegans will lobby for billion dollar programs to neuter them instead of letting hunters take care of them. Shoot one and you will get death row in Veganville. Or more likely a drone strike, that's where control freaks prefer to gravitate towards these days. Who needs trials right?

I think you misunderstand vegans. They are not the underground railroad for animals. They are Planned Parenthood for animals. They are mostly city slickers, they don't want a wolf eating their poodle and they don't want a wild cow pooping on their sidewalk, they think all of nature is just happy birds singing not coyotes eating bunnies. They think the environment is being destroyed by sheep passing gas. They would rather farm animals go extinct than to live a life of purpose to give life to starving children in Africa. They don't want happy healthy milk cows. They don't want healthy bulls being pampered to be herd sires. The only thing they care about regarding animals is denying you the right to eat an egg or a steak or even put honey on your toast in some cases. It's more like a religion than anything.

At the start of the video, he makes one small mistake. He referred to Targeted Advertising as "Demographics", which is now completely out of date. Its now called Psychographics, not Demographics, because the algorithms use very detailed data sources to determine a persons psychology in order to effectively manipulate the individual to buying a product or service or scam or whatever. Psychographics will examine things like Religious Preferences, Briggs Meyer Personality Tests (INTJ's and ENFP's, stuff like that), and EVERY possible source to maximize manipulation of purchase. Difference here is that Demographics target by age and gender and look at Groups, not Individuals based on Psychology. Just picking nits, but overall, he is right. Online Advertising is HYPE. The REAL danger here is when people start getting thrown in jail, interment camps, re-education centers, or whatever you want to call it for what those Psychographic Tests reveal instead of just letting them be normal ordinary good people. We arent there yet, but if you look at the strong reactions between Trump and Hittlary supporters, we are getting progressively closer every single day.

Big problem here. SCAMS. There have been scams that have been running for years that target the elderly. If the IRS is now gonna resort to private debt collectors, how are the elderly, especially those with mental conditions such as Alzheimers supposed to tell the difference between an actual IRS debt collection and one of those fucking Indian scams that try to call my house nearly DAILY? The authorization of IRS using Debt Collectors just screwed over a shit load of gullible people by making it even harder to tell the difference between Legit and Scam. --- Yes, I do believe the IRS itself is a scam, and Taxation is Theft. However, it is very difficult even for the most enabled people to fight back against the IRS when they have the power of the US Govt behind them.

At ~20 mins he boasts having a war command, and confirms the Cold War is only entering it's next phase. (He also builds a decent beginner's platform for advocating the end of Statism.) I can't put my finger on just why, but the fact the other services derive their function from the Air Force is unsettling.

Trump is helping Rand pass his healthcare plan, if you think Trump actually supported RyanCare then you are foolish and you need to go read the threads where I addressed this topic. Rand was talking to Trump 2-3 times a week, and Rand told Trump straight up it wasn't going to pass, it didn't have the votes. Trump knew it wasn't going to pass, so he supported it to make sure it was all Paul Ryan's failure and none of it could be blamed on him. Trump hates Paul Ryan.

Trump is going to help save Syria, with Russia's help.
