Trump doesn't necessarily deserve anything but yanking Obama's and handing it to Trump is much more favorable than letting Obama keep an unearned prize. Plus it would trigger the left and some TDS patients on RPF.

I remember when Thiel by default, became our not-so-secret-uber-secret-Billionaire-backer that dumped $2.6M to "Endorse Liberty Super Pac" and all we got was this shtty Mitt Romney video.

Well I Bing'd it and couldn't find any except the Epstein yellow jacket pic. Bing has been more consistent in their search results, the only reason probably is so they gain more users as opposed to Google losing some due to censorship. Google definitely rigs search results putting their favored hits up top and the ones they don't, hidden far away. Whats more creepy is that searching Epstein just now, I realized that he never smiles showing his teeth in photos. So odd.

Joe is very much like Trump in that he doesn't have a philosophy set in stone and is very open to hearing ideas from everyone and making a decision based off the best arguments. Joe is much more susceptible to left wing ideas though and he's said as much. He himself said aside from guns and a couple other minor things, he is left wing, which is sad. He doesn't even try to mount a good argument against UBI when people come on his show blabbing on about it.

Probably an overreaction on RPF over Rand. He knows 2A. I think he's using the due process argument to bring people back to common sense. We all know these are all knee jerk reactions and will die down when the people forget. Rand and his team have proven time and time again that they are usually a few steps ahead on these things. I also think RPF is having a knee jerk reaction here in this thread too.

Will never happen. TV watchers not as likely to know Joe. What Joe should really do is bring candidates two at a time to debate on his show. Make it like a formal debate, with scoring and bracket for the win.

Yea you've been doubling down since page 1 and its not looking good for you. Your line of thought would also be telling the American colonists to end the revolution and get back in line to serve the British Empire. And here it is, when Yaron Brook even knows supporting HK is the right thing to do, you know you've gone too far.

Hannity is playing the wimpy Shapiro card. Trying to show the left how "fair" they are. They know where they really stand on these subjects but want to gain credibility with the left even though the left doesn't give a sht about your credibility. Cuomo put himself out there like that knowing he's a public figure. If he knew there was a recording, his act would be completely different. This is the internet now, everybody with half a brain knows almost anything you do in public can be uploaded and go viral.

Yes HK does belong to China, as evidenced by UK returning HK. But HK wants to leave, as evidenced by the millions on the streets against the 6M population of HK. I know plenty of HK'ers and believe me, hating on Mainland is not a hip 2019 thing. So let them leave if they want to. But you keep making this about America or UK. Its not about any of that. The people of HK want to GTFO of Mainland's grasp, how can you not support them on that? Look you want to be against the American empire, whatever thats cool. But don't be so against the empire that you won't even afford freedom seekers the respect of aligning who they wish to align with to help them gain their freedom. No matter if you are libertarian or not, being aligned with the west = far more freedom than if you are controlled by China.

You may not like that HK prefer to be British than Chinese but British rule over HK is what made them often in the top 3 rankings of freest economies in the world. HK gave us Jackie Chan. Speaking of which, I wonder if he has been in hiding ever since the protests erupted. He's been firmly in the pocket of the CCP for the last decade or so but is the pride of HK. We certainly live in interesting times.

If you think about social media as being able to hold up a sign in public, then apply the one sided enforcement of rules, censorship, algorithms. You will see that the big platforms are violating free speech. Its just surprising nobody is suing over this yet, maybe its because people can't sue these big tech companies because they're protected as platforms and not publishers. That is the proper way to get this done. There needs to be some precedent here. Although a court case will be drawn out way beyond 2020, after the damage has already been done. Has Trump done the right thing in this context? RPF seems mixed.

Feeding into the thread topic.... One anonymous one day poster on 4chan said they worked in the prison. Epstein was removed into a van with a guard dressed in military-style gear. Others post that pictures of the "body" does not match Epstein's facial features.

Whats the most ironic is that Mainland Chinese love going to HK for the zero taxed luxury goods, safe food products and uncensored internet. They also love HK for the citizenship, banking system and stock market, so they can avoid the strict capital controls that Mainland has instituted. But at the same time, they don't want HK to be free. I guess blaming the people of China for hypocrisy is pointless because there is no opposing view anyways. Everything is top down, even the opinions and nationalism.

In China, snitching on social credit misbehav(ers) is also highly encouraged. If someone snitches on you, you can be taken to jail indefinitely. A lot of my friends in China are terrified of all sorts of violations.

Bets on how quickly 1000/mo "freedom dividend" would be considered unlivable welfare and demand higher minimums? Stupid Yang\ But like it or not, Yang is the Ron Paul (or Bernie) of 2020. The guy came out of nowhere and has a ton of online support (from idiots).

If I lived in Texas, and was eligible to become trained/licensed as a school Marshall, I'd be willing to volunteer some of my time at a local school. Its no different than parents volunteering at PTA, chaperone on field trips or help kids cross the street safely....and should be normalized as such.

Leftists invest in foundational politics with foresight in the decades. Those on the right are more short sighted and rather debate policies and candidates every election cycle. This is why the left controls so much of the institutions. Schools and the young are a big reason nobody is registering GOP anymore. I admit when I was in high school 10+ years ago. I despised republicans for no actual reason and many were the same, even though literally nobody cared. Can you even imagine what the political environment is like today? Even if one lived in Orange County, the reputation of Trump in liberal culture likely give many new registrants no choice but to check "no party preference" instead of GOP. Look at the way people are responding to anonymous polls. But they will show up on election day. This might be a good thing going into 2020 though. It'll be a repeat of 2016, 95% victory for Hilary.

Premise of this thread is false. Its not just the wall but a myriad of realistic policies that will help with the flood of illegal migrants. What Trump did with Mexico and Guatemala on accepting more asylum in their countries and sending less migrants our way also does a lot. Trump also made changes to asylum rules to entering the US as well. The wall and other border security measures takes care of the rest (not 100% but close). It appears he is doing all he can, short of literally just changing the laws through congress, which is impossible at this point with Pelosi.

Biography:
I live with my girlfriend of 10 years, and our 1 1/2 year old son. I work out of my home office. I'm a newcomer to politics. I've voted in 2 presidential elections but was uninformed and just voting to vote. I literally didn't even notice Ron Paul in 2008 and voted for "Hope and Change". I discovered him about 2 years ago when I suddenly became fascinated with the our military presence in the Middle East.

Since then I've become fascinated with Ron Paul. I would love to see an end to the Federal Reserve, income tax, ridiculous spending, bailouts, NDAA, HR 347, NDRP, and undeclared war. I joined RPF to learn more and find out what I can do to help.
