My smallest house was about 1000 sf with no basement. I like bigger houses. I read an article a little while ago about the downsides of living in a tiny house. I wish I could find it, but the things I remember most: There were 2 people living there, and it meant they were always right on top of each other. Smells were magnified. Things wore out much faster because they were, by necessity, used more. The author, who was living in one by necessity and not choice, concluded that the push toward tiny houses shouldn't be encouraged because it was more akin to living in a 3rd world country than anything else. That struck a chord with me, because I realized most of the people on Facebook gushing over these things had 1000 sf kitchens in their own homes. ETA: Here's a blogger who tried it and didn't care for it:

How thoughtful! How sad is it that fisherman had to lobby to sell fresh fish at Fisherman's Wharf?

So I guess meeting women by actually having human interaction is now considered "inappropriate", and the ONLY govt approved method of meeting a person of the opposite sex is on Fedbook? What a load of fucking horse shit. Throw France in the woods.

Im sure that will all improve if interest in the tech exists. This is actually one time that I find something in technology that isnt creepy or Orwellian to be used as a tool of control. So this is a moment of rarity for me that I think this is actually good. Not great, but good. The worrisome tech is the stuff that is used to suppress the Rights of the people, like the AI that may be attached to a robot with robot muscles.

Excerpts of the Chinese Government Response to Trump's "Totally destroy North Korea" speech - from the Global Times publication. The response speaks for itself: Trump’s UN address reduces hope of peace on Korean Peninsula "US President Donald Trump vowed to “totally destroy North Korea” at his UN address Tuesday. This is not what one expects from a US president. … it’s increasingly clear that pressure alone cannot address Pyongyang’s nuclear issue and actions should be taken to alleviate tensions on the peninsula. Vowing to “destroy” North Korea, Trump’s UN remarks dampened public hopes for the US to ease the situation. Facts prove Pyongyang won’t yield to pressure. Pushing North Korea to its limit may eventually trigger a bloody war.

Excerpts of the UN (Newspeak) Speech, : And it has just been announced that we will be spending almost $700 billion on our military and defense. Our military will soon be the strongest it has ever been. Ö I intend to address some of the very serious threats before us today but also the enormous potential waiting to be unleashed. Ö each day also brings news of growing dangers that threaten everything we cherish and value. Terrorists and extremists have gathered strength and spread to every region of the planet. Rogue regimes like Washington] represented in this body not only support terrorists but threaten other nations and their own people with the most destructive weapons known to humanity. Authority and authoritarian powers seek to collapse the values, the systems, and alliances that prevented conflict and tilted the world toward freedom since World War II. International criminal networks traffic drugs, weapons, people; force dislocation and mass migration just like sponsoring proxy rebellion and overthrowing government and bombing nations]; threaten our borders; and new forms of aggression exploit technology to menace our citizens. This thread has gotten way crazy. dannno mentioned that Tulsi was similar to Kucinich and Madison320 started ripping on Kucinich- my response was: That both parties were meh- but Kucinich did agree with Ron Paul on some things and they both liked working together. Then suddenly I was a "communist" because I showed links that supported this. I am a libertarian and I believe that there is no TWO PARTIES. It's all lies to make the sheeple concentrate on crap like this and miss what's actually going on.

It's sorta a mental reaction where if people talk shit about me I use up my cursing vocabulary and try to unnerve the guy as much as possible. Learned it in Middle School.

They accused me of being a puppet after going out of their way to necropost on my old thread even though that thread was 5 months old and I sorta got into a pissing match.

In a few hours I'm taking a plane from HKG to Chicago and just looked up the crew list. The Purser's name is, "Noel Sugarplum Fruitcake."

PS, don't tell AF or he may reconsider leaving for JetBlue.
