Beautiful day in store. Sunny and a high of 78. I didn't get a chance to talk to my boss about the lazy Food and Beverage director because I went in to work to find our toilets were completely backed up and sewage was coming up out of the floor drains. The issue didn't get resolved until about 7pm and then I cleaned the bathrooms. I was literally up to my ankles in shit for hours yesterday. And, to top it off, one of the hoes is having a mental breakdown and kept coming up to me asking me dumb shit. She just walked up and interrupted the plumber while he was explaining the shituation to me. And y'all are gonna love this bit...the plumbers told me the problem was on the city side and I should call them because it's their responsibility. I called and they sent out a complete moron. He asked me to show him the problem. I did and then he asked me why the sewage was backing up and I said, probably a clog but I'm no plumber (in my bitchiest tone because I was irritated and he was stupid) and he responded stating he wasn't a plumber, either. :facepalming: He went outside and poked around for a bit and told me he couldn't do anything. We ended up calling the real plumbers back and getting it fixed. It was a rough day. I ended up waking up to a crazy dream. In my dream I was on the patio at work talking to my bosses and I feel a tickling in my nose that starts driving me so crazy I end up picking it. I was trying not to but it was driving me crazy. Turns out I fish a giant booger out of my nose and then I toss it on the table right in front of everyone BUT when I went to inspect it on the table, it wasn't a booger at all. It was a damn squid or octopus I didn't get a good look at it and everyone starts telling me I need to go to the doctor but I thought we should run a calamari special. Then I woke up. I was woke as fuck, lol. That's the craziest dream I've had in a long time. I tried googling it's meaning (surely my subconscious was trying to get my attention) but there was nothing about pulling a squid or octopus out of your nose. One website suggested I hang a dream catcher. IDK, might work.

But that is not an appeal. There are no more appeals to be had on this case. SCOTUS is the end of the line. This particular case *has* been "settled." A decision has been made, and regardless of whether it is regarded as "precedent-setting," courts are typically quite reluctant to reverse themselves - especially SCOTUS, and especially especially when the decision for which reversal might be considered was made only a short time before. Of course this ruling will have an impact on that. Courts don't just ignore their own prior decisions as if they had never happened. Especially not on such a short time scale.

Still not seeing it. The system is not going to hold the system accountable. If, as you stated things earlier, "the justice system absolutely refuses to even arrest and charge them for anything regardless of the evidence," then by what means shall "Gitmo be used for politicians who violate the Constitution" ... ? If "the justice system absolutely refuses to even arrest and charge them for anything regardless of the evidence," then how does the following ever happen?

I expect there will be plenty of shenanigans - oops, sorry, I mean *alleged* shenanigans - that may afford SCOTUS multiple opportunities to revisit this decision. But those won't come up until after the raging dumpster fire - oops, sorry, I mean *election* - by which time ACB should have been seated. Then we shall see what we shall see ... (getchyer popcorn ready ...)

No, it won't be. SCOTUS is the "court of final appeal" (so to speak). It has made its decision, and that is the end of the matter. You can't. With a tie (or a refusal by SCOTUS to even hear the case to begin with), the lower court's ruling is effectively affirmed/upheld.

*shrug* Well, you're accusing a cartoonist of trying to do the same thing ... so why not? Sure, right, okay - because the glaringly obvious "ANTIFA" label on the gun is not sufficient to imply that the guy holding it is "antifa affiliated" ... Same here. The purpose of the "space invader" tattoo was clearly to tie the cartoon, not to Antifa, but to the incident in Denver.

Chinese in Hazmat suits greet you at the aircraft and escort you through customs to the hotel. You are not allowed to leave your room. You are not given a room key. Guards everywhere. They give you 20 disinfection tablets, 10 in toilet per poop...what if I shit 3 times? Apparently the problem is not that you couldnít give two shits, itís that you can only give two shits. Meals provided on a tray outside your room. No booze.

An interesting idea. A suit against the city of Seattle is being allowed to go forward: 1317321877581344768 If cause can be shown, I don't see why private organizations or actors should be exempted.
