pcgame replied to a poll Macbook Pro in Science & Technology
Forgot to add, one of the reasons I bought a Macbook Pro is because the Macbook Pro 2016 edition (yet to be released), might have some type of finger print reader on it. I am leery of biometrics right now.

I have been a Microsoft windows and linux user my entire life. My first experience with the modern apple computers was in college (I've tried the old school mac computers in elementary school). My first impression was that they were fun to use. Anyway, fast forward to 2016: I bought a macbook pro and a apple mouse for it. Much better than windows. Its basically Linux that actually works. Best computer I've ever used. It only took a day to get used to it and I'm still learning. The only issue I had so far was not getting into RPF chat with Safari even after installing Java. I am not sure how I fixed that. I basically just reset my laptop twice after installing Java and now RPF chat functions correctly. When it comes to custom settings and the Mac OS X, the main thing I had to do was fix my mouse settings so that it would operate similar to windows (2 mouse clicks). I did not buy the Magic Mouse. I bought the regular $50 Apple mouse. It is a 1 button mouse with sensors at both ends of the mouse so it knows when you right or left click. It also has something similar to a scroll wheel. Safari (the mac os x web browser), has the best user interface of all the main web browsers. I actually installed Google Chrome and Firefox and immediately uninstalled them afterward because the user interface is too horrible. Mac OS is the only operating system supported by Safari. Now I am not saying Safari is the most "hack-proof" or secure, just better overall functionality. Considering how bad Microsoft Windows is, the only disadvantage I can see to owning an Apple computer is the lack of gaming. However, I like old school consoles best anyway (sega and super nintendo). It is a shame that the apple version of Counter-strike Global Offensive doesn't work as well as the Microsoft one though. Another complaint is that its very expensive and you can buy laptops or computers with better hardware for a cheaper price. Whenever I buy a Microsoft laptop it always comes pre-loaded with what I refer to as "cancer" and I have to uninstall all the junk. Basically, 3rd party manufactures load all sorts of BS on these Microsoft laptops all designed to make things run better, but the effect is opposite. This Apple did not come pre-loaded with cancer.
